The city of Concord is a large suburb of North Carolina, located just 25 miles northeast of Charlotte. Concord’s history with car racing is legendary, and if you’re interested in renting in the city, you will likely be spending some of your free time at the track!
The Charlotte Motor Speedway is a major NASCAR racing venue and one of the city’s biggest attractions with drag racing, dirt tracks, and a 138,000-seat stadium. This major tourist destination has hosted races such as the Coca-Cola 600, the Bank of America 500, and the Sprint All-Star Race. The first car race was held here in 1960, and the engines haven’t quieted since!
But there’s more to Concord than just the hype of racing. This city is one of Charlotte’s fastest-growing suburbs, and with Downtown Charlotte within quick driving distance, there are plenty of work and entertainment options for Concord residents.

Property Ratings at Seasons at Poplar Tent
I would NEVER live here! Apartments are outdated and price is too high. The amenities are laughable for what they charge. The worst part is the way the male manager spoke to the female staff while I was waiting for a tour. He was rude and completely unprofessional. I would never live somewhere they allow male staff to talk to female staff that way. It is 2024 - Do better Southwood!

Greetings! After further review of your statement, you may have the wrong community. We have never had a male manager on site nor do we allow that type of behavior among Southwood Realty employees. Please contact the office directly to share any other feedback you may have.
Constantly changing staff. Management is never willing to help. Price is too high for what you get. Do yourself a favor and rent elsewhere

Greetings! We are sorry you feel this way about our staff but when our teams do well, they are moved to other opportunities. We pride ourselves for being able to promote from within. Regarding pricing, we are the most competitive priced community per square foot than most of our competition. Please don't hesitate to reach out to the office with any other feedback you would like to provide.
I love living here. I have been here 5 years and have loved every minute. I love the community and how friendly everyone is. The women in the office are amazing and love the residents. The events they put on are amazing and so much fun. I will highly recommend it to anyone and every chance I get I do recommend. This is an amazing place all around.
This apartment complex is in such a great location. I have a five minute drive from work and if I need food or shopping its a three minute drive to afton ridge. The amenities and events have been great. This is an amazing place to live.
My apartment is really nice. I love my sunroom. The staff is friendly and helpful. I have not had many maintenance problems but when I do they come right away. Great place to live!
A lot of the previous reviews complain about hearing through the walls, however you are renting an apartment so that is to be expected to a certain extent. I personally have not had any issues in my apartment that management could not address. Alyssa addresses each and every one of my concerns within a timely fashion and is always very nice and professional to talk to. Recently they have started having a security patrol car come out at night to address any noise complaints or any other issues we might have which I think has been helpful. Overall with me relocating to concord this place has been perfect for myself as well as my family.
This is a great apartment complex to stay in. I have been here for almost 2 years and the staff is amazing.
Although the apartments "look" nice they are far from it. You can hear everything your neighbors do from vacuuming the floor to using their blender. Management is unable to do anything about it despite what they say or is in the lease. If you are looking for some peace and quiet when you are at home then look elsewhere. There is trash and dog poop all over the place.
Don’t let the looks of the apartment fool you. This place is so poorly built you can hear the neighbors vacuuming or using their blender. Heaven forbid they are a heavy walker or have kids running around. I have to wear ear plugs in my apartment. The exterior isn’t in better shape with dog poop and trash everywhere. Find another place if you would like any sort of peace after a hard days work.
Noise traffic trash unsavory tenants. This has become a poor property-loud cars, transients everywhere. These are right next to the road. Back of property is scary unsavory activities going on. They say new but these are 3 years old! Nothing new here-

Hello, Thank you for your response. Please contact the office at your earliest convenience. We would love to speak to you so that we can get a better understanding of the situation. Seasons at Poplar Tent
Found mold in our apartment that has been growing for awhile before we caught it. All they did was paint over it and still haven’t cleaned the carpet full of mold spores.
I currently live here and I like the apartment. However, the cabinets are to high, and there are fewer cabinets than I personally need. My biggest issue is the fact that there are no linen closets. I have towels, sheets, and comforters stuffed in the closets of bedrooms which takes away for needed space for shoes and wardrobe, it really is annoying ! I don't understand how it wasn't thought about during constructed, however that could be just me being that I didn't notice it prior to moving in. In addition, I was told the pool would be open till midnight, which was a lie, so I was pretty upset about that considering that I work late and I love to swim. Which brings me to my next issue, I work late but trash pick up is at 8 pm? How can I have my trash disposed if I am not home? They do not allow you to leave it out early or overnight, which can result in fines if you do. (and what if I decided to take on a 3rd shift position?) If I am going to pay for garbage disposal can it at least be during times that work best for me, just saying? Nonetheless, it's a nice NEW neighborhood and the working staff seem to be nice and professional. But those are just my little rants but seriously I do like the neighborhood.
I don't normally write reviews however the process of apartment hunting is tedious and often times frustrating. Lisa and Morgan helped make the my experience so pleasant. I truly appreciate the hard work and great communication I received from them. Lisa was a delightful treat to talk with on the phone and Morgan answered all my questions about the rental property. Looking forward to moving in!
I have had a wonderful experience choosing Seasons as my new home. The office staff have been exceptional as they have answered every question and helped me in my move. Morgan was very professional and friendly to work with. She made us feel very welcome to the community. I absolutely love my new home and look forward to meeting the neighbors :)
Spoke with Lisa at the front desk and the experience was nothing short of amazing! She really helped me with the application process, told me to stay positive, and the next day my family and I were approved! Now we're just waiting to move in and we CAN'T WAIT! This place is SO BEAUTIFUL and anxiously waiting to call it 'Home'. Thank you for everything Lisa!!
I can't wait to make Seasons at Poplar Tent my home and the wonderful staff a part of my family!! The multiple conversations that I have had with this staff have been informative and delightful. Thank you Lisa and Kelly, I'm counting down the days until I can move in!!
Wow!! I just had an awesome conversation with a lady name Lisa. She was very informative, she took time and went over all my options. I can't wait until the Seasons Open!!!
I called the Seasons and Lisa answered the phone. I was having a bad day and after talking to Lisa I was laughing. She was very down to earth. I had lots of questions she answered my questions and did not hurry me off the phone. Thank you Lisa.
