Property Ratings at Sedona Apartments
Remodeled units from the 80's. Workmanship is extremely poor throughout the units as a whole (slanted countertops" A/C registers dangling from ceiling because they did not hit a stud with screws, outlets not screwed into wall, dead outlets that no longer work, no weatherstrpping, thin walls and windows). Ask them to turn the A/C down in the model unit when you tour, I guarantee the A/C does not cool the house below 74 degrees. The motor in our refrigerator has been making an extremely loud noise for months now, they replaced the sealant of the freezer door and tried to say that was it. All of our ice cream was still constantly dethawing, they came back out, said we didn't have our cold setting cold enough. It's still making the same noise, with the same issues - they will not fix it or replace the fridge. Maintenance does respond quickly, but they're forced to try to bandage everything - the property owner will not purchase things that need to be replaced. We have 2 broken windows in our unit that they put epoxy on and called it good. They patched a 1' x 1' hole under our sink that's connected to an outside wall with plaster, that's not weather resistant whatsoever. Constant heat or cold, whichever the season, will pour into the house due to the very dated windows and doors in the unit. There is a lack of weatherstripping in the windows and doors, which allows air to move in and out of the house as it pleases. Our A/C unit is undersized for our unit, which does not allow for the townhome to ever be cooled, so the A/C runs 24/7. Our electric bill was over $400 last month alone, it's $378 this month. They claim it's due to the heat outside that it will not cool below 74 degrees- even in the spring the A/C wasn't working properly. The A/C unit provided for our unit is meant for a 1 bedroom, not a 2 bedroom townhome, they still refuse to replace it.
I moved in 9/16/20 and so far I love the apartment. The office has been friendly from the beginning and made me feel at home. The storage space (closets, etc) is amazing! The entire apartment has wood flooring and that was very important to me. So far it is a peaceful community and lawn etc are well maintained.

I had planned on eventually buying a home in Abilene but it is so nice living here and not having to worry about maintenance, I may just check into a larger place when my lease is up. As a rule any issues I have had are taken care of almost immediately. Maintenance and management are always kind and helpful. Calls are returned promptly. I have beautiful views of Frenchmans Creek from all the windows and my porch. The neighbors are quiet. This is a lovely and peaceful place to call home. As a bonus, the stucco walls are well insulated so my electric bills are much less than I expected them to be.
Overall, this is a great place to live. It is pretty obviously an old property, but through the property management, as well as in unit upgrades and capabilities, they do everything they can to stay up to date and take care of their people.
The apartments are very spacious and affordable. Both the maintenance team and front office have all been phenomenal since the moment we arrived! Once we got settled, its hard to see us leaving this place any time soon!

Ive lived at Sedona for 2 years, and have no complaints. The facilities are excellent, and the grounds are constantly being improved. Common areas are clean and well-maintained. My apartment is an older unit that was remodeled. Any maintenance issues are assessed as quickly as possible, and handled in the utmost professional way. Ill definitely be sticking around Sedona, and recommending it to everyone I know!

It's overall a awesome place to live. Everyone here is friendly from staff to residents. I love the sidewalks and well lit walking paths. It's a great place to live. I'm so glad I made the move to Sedona.

All employees are very nice and welcoming I always have fast responses when I need things taken care of. The front desk office hours are very convenient and the appliances are nice in the apartments. Many military people live here so I feel safe at all times. Love my home and complex.
DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! The office staff does not care about the well being and comfort of their tenants. The only person in the office worth speaking with is Berenice the assistant manager who should be head manager. They allow anyone to live here. I have repeatedly went and complained to the office about my neighbor who has verbally attacked my husband and I and has harassed us for a year and a half as long as we have lived here. She has pushed the rest of the tenants who have lived around us out because they could not deal with her anymore. The office have complaints and a police report from the last tenants that lived in our apartment due to her doing the exact same thing. Oh and the office knows that she smokes weed and prostitutes from her home and many other tenants have witnessed this and they continue to do nothing. Two days after thanksgiving she harassed me and filmed me walking my dog for who knows what reason and calls the cops on us every other week because we are walking in OUR home. Mind you these are really old apartments and the floor squeaks every step you take. I have not felt at home since we moved here and that is sad. How many more complaints does the office need before they take action and KICK HER OUT! I will NOT be resigning my lease because I do not feel like being harassed or verbally attacked every time I’m home. Sad thing is the office KNOWINGLY allows her to do it. In the entire year and a half putting up with this the property manager hasn’t cared enough to sit down and talk with my husband and I once. They offered to move us apartments after being here a month or 2 and told us we would have to repay my pet deposit and other fees in order to move after just paying them. They waved maybe one fee but they were still going to charge us an arm and a leg just to move in the middle of my lease. If I were you I would look else where because this office is a JOKE.
When I applied to get a townhome here I was helped so much by Bobbie! All the staff in the office do all they can to get you in the apartment that you want! Maintenance is really good about getting it fixed right as well. Few water issues here and there, but overall great experience so far! Thank you Sedona! -Happy resident
Well ill start by saying that she is very helpful every time i go into the leasing office. And always has a great attitude i think she should be up for management soon. Also maintenance is quick when she places an order to fix anything in my apt.Im thankfull to have goid people like Bobby and the rest of the sedona office workers.
I don't use to write review,but it's imperative for me to write this review because of the excellent experience I had with Berenice one of the staff of this apartment.Without concealing the facts she is so nice,wonderful,friendly,and professional.To be factual she readily available to help.I lived in yellow building for years,but Berenice was not only helped me beyond my expectation when I wanted to move to the other building,but also listened to my complains and solved the problems
!(MANY OF THESE REVIEWS ARE WRITTEN BY STAFF)! The apartments were repaired with many quick fixes not properly done. Both of my vehicles have been vandelized in the parking lot along with a handfull of other vehicles that recieved slashed tires and smashed windows, and someone even stole my neighbors car. This not including shootings that have happened. Not a good neighborhood at all. I'm military personnel and i strongly suggest that others in the same situation reconsider. This place is not reliable or even safe, and nobody that lives here likes it here. I am now having to pay to leave.
They willl not fix ANYTHING that's broken, they will tell you one thing and do another, this has been the worst living experience. They have dressed this place up to make it look nice but it is stil the same awful apartment complex.
This place is great, the staff is remarkable nonetheless, seems like every time some residents do have a problem though they make up a huge story with "facts" as to why there problem was somehow caused by the property itself... my experience has been one of the best i have ever had, and any time i have an issue its FIXED. impressed isnt even the word.
I love living here they have a freaking 24/7 GYM!!!! Being a gym guru, This place is def the place for me!!!! All the stuff in there is BRAND NEW or atleast looks like it. The maintence guys are all pretty cool to talk to too

I moved in about three months ago and this has been the best experience i have had renting so far!!!!!!!!!!!! The staff seriously goes above and beyond, looks like they have newer people on the maint team and in the office and even the new ones are amazing! all the upgrades are such a relief, i can show off my apartment to family and not feel bad about anything cosmetic ITS SO BEAUTIFUL! the kitchen is my favorite!

I am normally not one to even write a review unless it is bad, like most people. ALTHOUGH, This place has come such a long way... I have been around for years. This company is GREAT, The staff is GREAT, my upgraded apartment, IS BEAUTIFUL!!! They are always so quick to fix any issue we have, inside the apartment or in the office. I could not be more pleased and would recommend this place to everyone i know
The management believes they have the right to enter our home whenever they want to unannounced & without permission. A man entered our home today with what resembled a gun..I had an actual gun aimed at him. He's fortunate I didn't fire. I called to complain & the management would not respect my request to not enter without permission. All she wanted to do was talk over me. I will never rent from any complex affiliated with this management again! My money will go elsewhere.

We always regret any uncomfortable situation experienced by our residents. As you confirmed, the leaseholder did receive the pest control service notice but neglected to inform you. The pest control technician announced himself before entering the apartment and only entered after hearing no response. We regret this upset you, however, management of every apartment complex per Texas apartment leases has the right and responsibility to enter any apartment to ensure safety, comfort and service for its residents. For their awareness and accommodation, we provide notice to our authorized residents through several channels.
I have lived here for 3 years and i have never seen these apartments in such great shape! With the previous owners I had always complained about safety issues and over all quality of living that they presented. Then the new owners came in and within MONTHS these apartments have changed up sooo much. New parking lots are awesome, along with them renewing apartments and making them new! Love the new playground they just built up. But what i am most grateful for is the great lighting they have placed. Finally! Now i can come home from work and not have to worry who could be around. The lighting and security cameras are amazing. Thank you Sedona Apartments for bringing the change that was desperately needed!!!!
They have been renovating since August. This place was horrible before, now it's horrible with constant renovation. the first thing they did was fix up the leasing office and remove our fitness equipment. It's in the lease but they've locked it away for months always saying "Soon" when you ask about it. Instead of fixing ancient heating/AC units that current tenants are using, they are taking the time to install new units on vacant apartments and they are putting time and money into an elaborate dog park and a play ground. Superficial fixes while taking money from people who are under constant duress. Some units have been vacant for months with trash and refuse with no consideration of the adjacent tenants. They have repaved the parking lot, giving tenants less than 24 hours to move their cars or be towed. There are mounds of dirt, gravel, cement, toilets and they frequently fill up all the trash bins with the refuse. The laundry facilities are disgusting and most of the washers and dryers are not operational. They have an excuse for every issue. If you have a problem you will wait for months while you see them renovating other apartments. They refuse to give out the management companies contact info. I have seen large rats and massive roaches. There is dog feces EVERYWHERE, it's disgusting. They have no regard for the current residents. I noticed in a previous reply they didn't deny the bed bugs. The water is off on the average of 3 times a week. Unless they are going to replace every pipe, it's not going to end. For hours and sometimes days the water is brown, with sediment and I can cause a rash, burning and itching. Now they have the hot water set to scalding. Not safe for children. The rent that they are charging does not correspond with the neighborhood. Behind and Alsup's that's known for being held up. Groups of kids are always cruising through here. For those of us who are good tenants it's been a nightmare. It has never felt remotely like a home. If you look up the company in Dallas, they do not have a good reputation. Move in at your own risk.
I have lived here for 10 years I have seen three different property management companies by far this one is the best..I can see so much improvement every single day..I just renewed and absolutely love what they did for free to my apartment well worth the great renewal price...I cant wait to see what else they will do to the property seems like everyday something new..also great sweet staff at office I feel they genuinely care as long as you communicate with them they will do what they can to help!!! and maintenance right on point and experienced well at least I think so ha, anyway they are great thanks for your time hope this helps anyone's out there!! so overall love the new owners!

When my son moved into the apartment, it was infested BED BUGS. It took them over a month and a half to get an exterminator out to treat and it did not get rid of them. The exterminator told them that they are in the walls. Manager is extremely rude and no one seems to care about the renters.

We originally liked the apartment especially the price. When we moved in the AC did not work and the maintenance guy had no clue what he was doing. They said it worked fine. Our bill was over $400 and the temperature never dropped under 82 degrees. When we asked to be moved they told us we had to put another deposit down! They did not want to hire a professional at 1st. The office staff and maintenance seemed very annoyed and were rude to us. After 3 months of complaining they finally moved us to a new apartment that did not have light fixtures in the bedrooms. I guess since we complained about our electric bill they thought it would be funny to give us an apartment where we had no light. I'm glad we won't be living here anymore. I don't recommend this apartments to anyone.
