I had a 12-month lease at Senara Apartments, located at 5225 E Thomas Rd 116, Phoenix, Arizona 85018, and my stay there spanned from June 7, 2023, to June 7, 2024. As the lease agreement stipulated, I was required to provide a two-month notice prior to moving out, which I adhered to, ensuring that I officially notified management in advance of my plans. To fulfill my obligations, I planned my move meticulously and officially vacated the apartment on June 6, 2024, just a day before my lease ended. The apartment was completely emptied of my belongings, and I took every necessary step to ensure the space was in good condition when I left. However, upon my departure, I was informed by the management that I owed for an additional 7 days of rent. This was surprising to me, as my understanding was that I had only occupied the apartment for 6 days in June, following the terms laid out in my lease. I believed that, by moving out a full day before my lease expiration and having provided proper notice, I was in compliance with all requirements and would not incur any extra charges. This misunderstanding regarding the final billing brought about an unnecessary complication as I had planned my move to ensure a smooth transition, and I was trying to maintain a positive relationship with the management during my tenancy.

First they called me a day before and said they changed my apartment number. I got all my clothes sent to the apartment number they gave me 4000 dollars worth of clothes stolen because of that. If you move here beware get the package services people steal. I asked the office girl for corporate number she says for package yes 4000 dollars worth of clothes. Smdh. Everything in the apartment is patched up. I can't wait until my lease is up.
Read all the complaints! Dontnlet new pretty paint fool you!!!! Dont be a fool! They trying to hide them. If I can help just one person find a better place than this place I hope I do stay away.... Stay away from this place!!! Listen to the complaints the manager is a liar the property is a lie. They charge for everything. She says they've been there for 9 months but the property has not been taken care of they just rip people off taking their money charging for everything. The property tries to get you to sign a lease but make up excuses for your move-in date.
This used to be a nice place to live but, not any longer. The maintence man came into my apartment to fix something and let a stray cat in, after that I was infested with fleas for days. I’m just miserable now. I’ve been ready to move for some time now.
I just renewed my lease for another year and wish I hadn't. My rent went up $30 for no reason. The complex blows a fuse and the power goes out to 20 units for several hours at least once every two months. Everything is outdated and cracking/breaking. The shower head is a fire hose with one setting that will blast your skin off. The water supply here must come from the sewer, because my toilet has been growing mold since I moved in after countless bleach treatments. Tap water tastes like salt and dirt, and I contracted a septic blood infection that could very well be related to the water. Everyone in the complex smokes pot and leaves children's diapers and cat food cans on the walkways even though management tries desperately to clean it up. I have gotten 5 day eviction notices 3 months in a row when I pay my rent days in advance and have never missed a rent payment. Maintenance isn't actually maintenance, just a dude that comes in and moves all your belongings around and does a patch job to make it look like things are fixed. This place violates numerous health codes including the EPA maximum water quality rating and building codes. This place will be going out of business soon, I guarantee it.
They do not return your refundable deposit no matter what shape is in and don't comply with law
I just wanna say I absolutely love my apartment. It's wonderful for just 2 people (: also the office is amazing as well.
I have been a resident for 1 year and 2 month. My daughter goes to a near by school, 5 minutes away, work is only 13 minutes away. I like the location, near bus stop, next to a gas station, near school, 10 mins from walmart, near by 4 different food store, and much more. Tenants are very nice, helpful, be your own neighborhood watch, everyone watches out for each other. All around good location.
\When we moved here a year ago, the place was okay. The apartment had no issues with roaches, after the first sis weeks we started to have an infestation. So, I took the initiative to take care of the problem myself by sealing common areas of possible entry areas. I had fixed a problem with the kitchen drain pipe, that was ignored for a little over a week. For our anniversary of being a resident here, we offered to choose to have an replacement of either the refrigerator, the ceiling fan, or the carpet. We chose the refrigerator because roaches are entering into it, and to this day we still have the same refrigerator. We need to move from here.
comfort living because of the peace you get from the residents around us. Rent is high but I love the area because they're many continent places near us . The only thing I don't like is having to do laundry at a laundry mat other then that my stay here is perfect.
Great central location to all major needs, (food, gas, etc.). Pool could be better improved. Laundry facilities received a nice upgrade while living here (no coins). Lobby and office are impressive. Parking is pretty hard sometimes.
