Property Ratings at Seneca Broadview
The apartment complex is managed by unprofessional staff that constantly lie and could care less about the living conditions there. Management refuses to take care of the complex. Don't waste your time or money.
By far the worst apartment search I have ever had. One the leasing agent, is incredibility rude and unprofessional. She took multiple days to just send out the request for employment verification, despite knowing the owner, who needs to give final approval, would be on holiday soon. She also seems perfectly content to blame everything on the "main office", and will not follow up on anything unless you pressure her into doing so. When questioned on why the process is taking so long and why there are so many delays, she belittles your concerns and responds in a mocking tone of voice, rather than either remedying the issue or addressing your concerns. In my opinion, had she spend half the time and energy she spends mocking potential residents, belittling their concerns, and lying about what you said to her, and channeled that energy into following up with the main office or the owner, this process would like go much more smoothly, and actually be completed in a timely manner. I am not sure if all prospective tenants are treated this way, or only certain groups. Moreover, if this is the experience you can expect when you are trying to hand management money, I wonder what your experience would be if you need to request maintenance.
Cheap place to live but it's not the best. Everything is rigged. From the furnace to plumbing, do not expect it all to work ok. Office workers are rude, maintenance workers take weeks to fix issues, even then they aren't fully done. Parking is a nightmare! There are not enough spots for everyone living here! In the winter they only plow the street, meaning you will get plowed in and receive no help. Things will be stolen or destroyed off your porch. The amount of children and teenagers roaming around at all times is horrible.
All I want to say about this place is supper supper dirty. BED BUGS every where. I left that apartment and No way to stay there. I will sue them because my children whom got sickness from the bed bugs. I got allergies from there. I LOST ALL MY FURNITURE Because the bed bugs. If you like your family stay away as much as you can. Seneca is the worst of dirty place.
Having never lived in apartment before, I've heard the horror stories. This place is AWESOME. Rental office and maintenance staff are second to none! I have incredible neighbors/friends. If ever I need anything, Ann, Millie and the maintenance staff are there to help.
I have been unhappy living here since I moved in. It is dirty, dingy, and in need of serious renovation. The staff is unprofessional and unhelpful. The day I moved in, I asked the front desk what I needed to do to get the utilities in my name. They told me it was automatically done when I signed my lease. Two weeks later, I came home after work to a note on my door stating that my electric would be shut off if I didn't enroll the bill in my own name. I called the office and left a message asking how to enroll the bill in my own name. I also called 8 times the following day during my breaks at work and left messages requesting the information. I never got a call back. I left work early to drive to the office before it closed. I got there at 4:45, 15 minutes before the office was scheduled to close. The employee was locking the doors and preparing to leave. I asked why she had not returned my calls, and she said it was a busy day. However, she could have called me back instead of closing 15 minutes early. I was told the complex is non-smoking, yet it reeks of smoke - both tobacco and marijuana. Residents in my building leave their garbage in the hallways. There are often beer cans or stomped-out cigarette butts in the stairwell. One of the dryers was broken, and a resident used permanent marker to write, "don't work" on the dryer instead of requesting maintenance. There is no sense of pride or respect for the building by the residents. There is one dumpster/trash compactor for the entire complex. It is regularly overfilled causing residents to place their garbage outside, so the wind blows trash all over the yards. Also, geese run rampant all over the complex and leave poop everywhere. The landscaping crew does the bare minimum - cutting the grass. There is no landscaping or gardens unless residents pay out of pocket to decorate themselves. On my floor, there is a drop ceiling. There is a leak from the floor above, causing one of the ceiling tiles to mold. The maintenance team has replaced the tile over and over, but has not fixed the cause of the problem - the leak. I have had multiple issues with maintenance not truly fixing problems. I cannot wait for my lease to end and to move. This place was the worst place I have ever lived.
We moved here to get our kids out of a lousy school and into the top rated Brecksville Broadview Heights schools. Finding a 3 bedroom apartment at a reasonable price in the suburbs with good schools was very difficult until we found this place. We are very happy to be here. .
horrible place to live... my apartment was broken into months after living there. Also people steal your mail constantly. No Fire Extinguishers in the hallways which are a Law Violation... I have told them many times and I have been there almost a year and its still not done. Nasty writing always written on the walls in the hallway to my apartment along with stairwell. Annoying geese outside at 5 am to wake you up every morning. I can not wait for my lease to be up!!!
Its an ok place to live. Parking isn't great. I enjoyed my time there.
affordable living, ok night life local bar conveniently in walking distance, and excellent schools.
This apartment complex is very nice but guidelines to get in is uncompromising there are good people with bad circumstances that affect their credit and money but can cover the rent asked and still will deny you. Very unfair establishment. Be careful or ull just lose 40 bucks and leave disappointed.
