Property Ratings at Seneca Club Apartments
Well, it's time for Seneca Club's periodic water shut-off, to the entire complex. They do this at least a couple of times a year. That means if you lived here, you would not be able to get water from the tap, wash your hands, take a shower, or go to the toilet. Management's advice - set aside some water, rental office won't be open. If you like basic things, like running water, a parking spot near your building, a non-crappy landscape crew, or competent management, Seneca Club probably isn't the place for you.
Property Manager at Seneca Club Apartments, Responded To This Review
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand how inconvenient a water shut-off can be, and we apologize for any disruption this may cause. These shut-offs are necessary for maintenance and improvements, and we always try to provide advance notice so residents can prepare. We appreciate your patience and understanding during these times. We also value your comments about parking, landscaping, and management, and we are committed to continuously improving the community. If you have any specific concerns, please feel free to reach out to the management team directly at 301-428-7900. Thank you.
The complex moved me out of my apartment several weeks before the end of my lease. Rent was paid in full on time every month but they claimed that because I left the door unlocked and my keys on the counter I had 'forfeit the property.' The complex threw out my remaining furniture in the apartment. Guest parking must be requested from the management office or they WILL tow you. Unfortunately the office opens/closes at whatever hours they feel like and you more likely than not will be unable to get a guest parking pass without requesting ~3 days in advance.

Daniel, thank you again for being our valued resident for two years. We are glad that we were able to come to a resolution regarding your patio furniture. If there is anything else we can assist you with, please feel free to contact us directly at 301-428-7900. Thank you.
Noise is intolerable. Your neighbors will place dance, dance music, thump, thump, thump all night long. Try putting kids down to sleep with that. If it's not music, their video games are just as loud. Parking sucks. Yeah, they require residents to have a pass. But if they ever enforce any parking its after 12:00am. What good does this do me when I come home from work at 6pm, and the lot is full of non-resident cars, and I have to park a block away from my apartment? Management sucks. They don't address resident problems. Do yourself a favor - find another apartment community.

We're sorry to see this, Rudy. Your comfort is important to us, so please reach out to the office so that we can discuss your concerns. You can reach us at 301-428-7900. We look forward to hearing from you.
Very bad community, the management is too bad. They had very bad rules for parking restrictions. Never go to such communities.
The units aren’t that bad for the price but management is a joke in this place you come to them with problems in the community they are very rude. You’ll get different answers from the different people who work in the office. I’ve only lived here for 3 months and already do not want to extend my lease any further. They will not accommodate their tenants when you say you don’t want to stay there past your lease agreement a good property manger would accommodate you to keep you there but this one will not. I do not recommend leasing here.
Apartment walls are paper thin meaning one can hear everything the neighbors do but more importantly the rather constant traffic from the highway which runs day and night. Additionally the draconian parking policy requires one to obtain a pass prior to an overnight guest staying. Those passes must be picked up in person and during normal business hours. In other words plan way ahead and take time off just to have an overnight guest. And what is one supposed to do with teenage kids or weekend visitors. Towing companies very happy to take your car and money. Not going to be a home for certain. Service is diminishing at the same rate the rents are increasing.
I lived in this place for almost 5 years,no problem until I moved, they fine any excuse to keep your deposit,my case I painted my unit so when I moved they told just use primer paint and that's what i did 2 weeks after I moved i received a letter saying that I owned 160.00 because they have to paint again the unit big lie I call the office try to see what they said , they told me that I have to paid I told the manager that I want somebody from corporate to call me, NEVER received that call, the only call that I recievied was from a collector so my solution was to paid. The staff was very rude, manager the worst the only good people the maintenance group , I NEVER will recommend this apartment place they even deserve a single star. So think before you move to this place because you going to lose the security deposit, face worst management ever.
Our apartment reeked of smoke which ruined all of our clothes. The office wasn't very helpful in getting rid of the smell. I washed all the walls multiple times and put baking soda on the carpet multiple times. They required you to buy $5 guest passes for the pool if you wanted more than one guest to swim with you. You also had to have two different member cards to get into the pool yourself. The office staff weren't incredibly helpful. The price was very low for the area, but I guess you get what you pay for. We moved away after a year, and I couldn't have been more pleased with that decision.
The apartment complex is very well taken care of and clean. The office staff are very helpful & if we ever need maintenance they are quick to respond.
