Property Ratings at Sequoia Village
I've lived at Sequoia Village for just over a year, and I would definitely recommend it. The apartments are beautiful and the grounds are well maintained. My last apartment in Denton was almost the same size and price, but it was very dated and there were 10x as many neighbors. Also, the property manager is very hands-on and he works hard to keep the apartments well maintained. He's always addressed every problem I've had including having the A/C repair men come out the same day I noticed cooling problems. It was our fault for not changing the filter for several months, but he still had them make sure there were no other problems.
The apartment are nice but it's been 11 months since I've been living here and asking for maintenance issues to be fixed like water facets not working, light issues, pest control, etc. are not their top priority. Even if I ask them to come in they'll do a horrible job, I've had to order professionals for pest control because they don't seem to have any sort of policy on it. It's a new apartment I get it but this is Denton you need pest control. If you were looking at this place I'd keep looking
I want to recommend Sequoia Village to anyone wanting to live in a locally owned, brand new apartment. The owner has assured me that extra sound proofing was installed and I believe it. I haven't heard a peep out of any of my neighbors including small children. Paul, the owner, has been willing to work with us on financial concerns and he and his wife are very friendly and welcoming. They even installed safety bars in my bathroom tub enclosure to assist me in managing a small handicap. We were lucky to have found this place!
