Property Ratings at Serenity Village
In the 3 years I have lived here, not a single one of the repair requests I had for my specific apartment was fulfilled. The garage ceiling is leaking and falling apart, some buildings have clogged drainage which causes flood in heavy rain, the trash area is a persistent mess, and at this moment I'm pretty sure there are mice in the walls. All this and I know for a fact this place is going to increase rent by another 15% despite how bad the building conditions are. If you are renting, you can do better.

Thank you for your feedback. Rent adjustments reflect market conditions and operational costs, but we remain focused on maintaining a comfortable living environment. We’re addressing property improvements, including leaks, drainage, and pest control, and encourage you to reach out to our team with any additional concerns.
I strongly advise against renting at this apartment complex. The overall management and maintenance are severely lacking, and tenants’ concerns are consistently ignored. To start, the apartments themselves are poorly maintained. The door knobs frequently fall off, and despite repeated requests, maintenance only addressed this after extensive follow-up. The air conditioners are moldy, posing serious health risks, and again, this issue wasn’t properly fixed until I had to pester management. Additionally, the door lock was improperly installed, and while we were only given one key, it barely works, leaving us worried about basic security. The lease agreements and requirements are unclear, with management often contradicting itself. This has caused confusion and frustration throughout the tenancy and gave us issues when submitting out notice. The wording was especially unclear and has been complained about by several other tenants who were not renewing their leases but as proven in my agreement has not been corrected. The most concerning issue, however, was a bee infestation that was ignored for over a month, despite me notifying management that I’m allergic to bees. Even worse, my dogs were stung, which put their health at risk as well. It took multiple complaints before anything was done, demonstrating a complete disregard for tenant safety. The common areas are just as neglected. Trash and dog waste are often left on the grass and streets, and nothing is done to clean it up, we get nasty email reminders to pick up dog poop but dog stations are never full of clean up bags and you have to request that on the tenant portal in order to get them. On top of that, despite the building being advertised as non-smoking, tenants regularly smoke inside, making it unpleasant and unsafe for others. Overall, the combination of poor management, unaddressed health hazards, and general neglect makes living here extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this complex to anyone.

We appreciate your detailed feedback and sincerely apologize for your negative experience. Ensuring resident satisfaction and maintaining a safe, well-kept community are top priorities for us. We take concerns about maintenance delays, unclear lease terms, and health hazards like mold and pests very seriously, and we’re actively working to improve our response times and communication. Regarding the dog waste stations and smoking violations, we are implementing more regular checks and enhanced enforcement of our community policies to better address these issues. Your input is invaluable, and we’re committed to making meaningful changes to ensure a better living experience for all residents.
This property has a major mold issue they refuse to take care of. There’s mold in the bathrooms behind the Sheetrock (which they don’t think is a big deal since it’s hiding) & if you keep anything in your storage unit, it will turn to mold. The garages flood & people are breaking into the garages / cars all the time. Do not recommend living here

Claim to be “luxury apartments.” There’s nothing luxury about this place. Had an incident in the winter where significant car fumes were getting into our building to the point where I was having a burning sensation in my chest. Management gave them a slap on the wrist. Put a work order in Feb. STILL has not been dealt with and it’s almost May and I’ve contacted them multiple times.

Dumpsters are always overflowing, when the last winter storm hit and temperatures were below freezing everyone’s heat broke and maintenance said *maybe* it would be fixed within 24 hours. I have 2 toddlers and my house was 59 degrees. They severely overcharge and do not care about their tenants. Do not move here.

Thank you for your feedback. We understand the inconvenience caused by the heating issue during the winter storm and regret any discomfort you experienced. While our team works diligently to address emergencies as quickly as possible, severe weather can sometimes cause delays. We are also reviewing waste management to prevent overflowing dumpsters. If you have any ongoing concerns, please reach out to management directly—we value our residents and are committed to improving your living experience.
I’ve lived here almost 2 years and ever since they got new management it sucks. They’re trying to pull it off as luxury when there’s nothing luxury about it. Management is terrible and there’s a pool that hasn’t been open since 2019. The garages have leaks in them and when i rained the whole garage was flooded.
