Snug between the grassy plains and mountain peaks, Fort Collins is a treat for the eyes. It’s also home to Colorado State University, a top-ranking school known for academic excellence. Like many college towns, Fort Collins provides a variety of shops, restaurants, nightlife, and entertainment in its downtown district, but the pull of the beautiful landscape might draw you outdoors most often. The nearby Rocky Mountains and Roosevelt National Forest are ideal for activities like hiking, biking, kayaking, and fishing. In the winter, sledding, skiing, and snowshoeing are popular.
Year-round events and festivals bring Fort Collins residents together. Whether it’s enjoying the popular summer concert series, catching a live musical performance at the Mishawaka Amphitheater, cheering on participants in the Colorado Marathon, or attending one of the popular music festivals, there’s always something exciting happening.

Property Ratings at Settlers Creek
We have lived at Settler's Creek for 3 years. At first, it was just your average complex with it's pros and cons. But, about a year after we moved in, a different company took over ownership and everything went downhill from there. We had four different friends in the complex move out within the first year due to the hike in rent when it was time to renew. Some of them told us they were asked to pay $200-300 more a month with a new contract. Also, all of the employees who were helpful and friendly were let go and a new group was hired. First, they let ago of the best maintenance men I've ever had. They had worked there for years and told us they were being let go because they were too expensive. A new maintenance man was hired, who was unfriendly and barely did his job. Second, every employee who was hired in the office was near impossible to deal with. After losing three of our packages, we just have our packages sent to our relatives house. When the packages were lost, the office manager told us it wasn't their fault and refused to take responsibility. We are pretty easy going people, and any issue we bring to the office is met with annoyance and condescending attitudes. It's a shame because the property is actually pretty nice and a great location. We've dealt with these issues for awhile and we're joining our friends and moving out. I would greatly discourage anyone from renting from this company.
I have been living at Settler's Creek for a whole year. This is one of the many apartment complexes I have lived at, the positives about this apartment is the good location, you can walk to the store and also to work, and there's a park close by. The maintenance is great, and the staff is very welcoming. The apartment also has free tanning. The biggest complaint and only complaint would be the hot tub and pool. I think both should be open all year round. Although the hot tub was open all year round it was also broken all year round.
