The small, attractive Harris Ridge neighborhood is everything you’d want in a suburb: Shady, tree-lined streets, sidewalks leading past charming houses perched on manicured lawns, and easy access to a nearby highway for easy commutes. This northeast suburb of Austin has all of that and more, located just 10 miles from downtown but with that worlds-away feel.
Harris Ridge is unapologetically residential suburban, with top-rated schools and peaceful parks. The community has a private, residents-only swimming pool, the Harris Glenn Pool, maintained by the homeowner’s association. Settler’s Ridge Park off Harris Ridge Boulevard provides an open green space for residents, while Stoney Creek Park on the north end of the neighborhood provides a playground, a dog park, and soccer fields.

Property Ratings at Settlers Ridge Apartments
Do not be fooled by the virtual tour. This is the teeniest, tiniest bathtub I have ever seen in my life. Writing this review as a warning to fellow bathers - it is NOT a garden bath, do not sign a lease without seeing the actual unit in person!

I love the staff! They are always able to resolve any problems in a timely manner with a smile on their face!
The Valet trash service is very inconsistent, the pool area needs sprucing up, need a recycling service or bin
It's mostly soundproof, quiet, gated, maintenance is always quick, and the staff is awesome.
The office personnel is great, they are very friendly as well as professional. They respond to questions quickly and with knowledge.
They are always competent in completing the request in a time manner. Great group of staff.
I would, but just to pricey. But if I had family/ friends with that kind of money to live here I most definitely would.
I wouldn't recommend this apartment community because my family and friends all live in houses.
Although my apartment is still not complete from the winter storm of 2020, I would still recommend this complex. The staff are wonderful, very friendly/professional and are willing and ready to help.
Great office personnel. Apartment was not ready during move in time even though move in date was moved without notice. Laundry washer and dryer not working and no estimated time on when it will be ready. It is also a tad bit expensive.
I would not necessarily recommend this apartment for several reasons. Ehe price is too high for what you get, the bedrooms are too small, and the large common area while its nice could have been lessened to allow for a larger bedroom. I did like the option fro covered parking and valet service. I also liked the change to the business center, but due to COVID-19 did not get a chance to use it.
The apartment is in a great location. Kept clean and the office personnel and the service crew were all professional and friendly. Aside from the incident that occurred, I loved Settlers Ridge!
The staff are very helpful and friendly.
Service request are handled quickly, it' clean.
So far the management and maintenance teams have been one of the most response and respectful of any complex that I have previously lived in. Super professional and friendly - and I really appreciate that.
The apartment was in good condition, and had competitive pricing. The office staff is very helpful and responsive.
The staff have always been helpful and answer all of my questions.
Staff alone is amazing! The complex is well maintained and such a family friendly environment. I couldn't be happier to live here and it's only been my first month.
The complex is safe, the staff is friendly and easy to work with, and every day you are working on making the complex the best it can be. The layouts are spacious and not wholly unaffordable! I already do recommend this place when friends are apartment hunting! :)
Great customer service from Micayla Flores. Great rates and has available garages
It was a good place. The fireplace in the middle of the living room made TV placement cumbersome, and despite being "luxury" they just seemed more like decent apartments and a fair price. Still, it was quiet at night, safe, and well run. I would and have recommended to friends and current tenants.
The staff is very nice an really to get you what u want they are very understanding they check up on you to see how things are going so I would highly recommend them
The office staff has always resolved my concerning issues & the complex is always clean & maintains a good reputation.
Most people I know have little children and there is no park in the complex. But, it is PERFECT for me and mines. Everyone here is amazing.
Love the friendliness of staff and employees, but mostly enjoy the pet friendliness of the community and the diversity of pets and neighbors. Great upkeep of community grounds!
I would recommend this apartment community to family and friends, because of the office personnel, they are response when you have a complaint, and work with me to get it resolved.
It's just a friendly place to live. I feel safe and comfortable living along there. The only thing is the parking, too many restrictions on parking especially when you have family coming in from out of town (daughter/grand kids; other than that it's been a wonderful experience.
I would recommend Settler's Ridge over others simply because it's a very nice place to live. Beautiful and maintained, safe, and in an area that is easy to navigate. The only negative is the rent. However, I personally think it's worth it.
My husband and I just started renting short term while we buy a house, and we are not used to apartment living. Kimberly, Brittany and Jade made everything so easy! I'm sure we asked a million basic questions, but they were so helpful and patient. We feel very welcomed and are excited to be living in Settler's Ridge. They were super quick not only to fix a couple of minor issues at move-in, but also gave us several upgrades we didn't even ask for. Wow! You don't see that every day! That, in our opinion, is what top notch management does to earn your trust and respect. Isaac, the maintenance supervisor, went above and beyond to help make sure everything was safe and accessible for me, as I have disability issues. We can't say enough good things about our experience here, and we would definitely recommend it.
Service was very efficient. The service was performed when I was not home; they fixed the problem and did not touch any of my things. They seem super reliable and flexible.
My only reservation is the increase in rental prices since I moved in, but I understand how economies and pricing work, and can't really blame this particular apartment complex for that.
The office staff and maintenance staff make this place a good place to live.
Property Manager at Settlers Ridge Apartments, Responded To This Review
Thank you for a fantastic 5-star rating and review! We are thrilled to know you enjoy living here, and thank you for recognizing our staff and team. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us!
I did recommend this place to a friend! Jessica Abulezam :)
Very nice guys and always make sure I'm taken care of
I've been here for 4 or 5 years. It's a nice and quiet neighborhood. I've never had any problems thus far. The complex team are a wonderful group of people, very courageous and always pleasant. I would and do highly recommend this community.
I would recommend because excellent management is hard to find. I wouldn't recommend the community parking and gate is important to someone searching.
The maintenance team at Settler's Ridge is next to none. They truly are the best!
Based on what I saw, I would definitely recommend that a person take a look at it. Without having lived at this place to have an informed opinion, I don't feel comfortable recommending that someone else lives there.
There should be 1 assigned parking space in front of each building per apt. Many tenants work nights or second jobs. It isnt right they have to park in street of neighborhood after work. Not safe for single women tenants.
Price is a little higher, but units are kept in good repair and the amenities are awesome.
It's too hard to find parking lot after 9:00 pm even if you have parking sticker specially on weekends that was the only thing that I don't liked
I would not, just because my apartment was not ready for occupants when I moved in. There are just so many issues with it that need to be fixed, many of them major.
I have a 9-5 job and the fact that my leasing agent stayed past 6 to show me the property was so wonderful to see. She was patient, answered all my questions and continues to check in with me. Amazing customer service!
this community offers everything I was looking for to call this community home and not just have a place to live. the staff has been very pleasant and address my concerns immediately.
Great apartment floor plan and good rent rates, but the parking issues and adjacency to fire department drop it down a bit.
Although the price is a little high, the community is nice and the amenities are great The apt itself is not perfect but its fairly nice and spacious.
Parking is not gooood I don't how much people livening this apartment Did you do check after midnight you couldn't find any parking spot I don't where I have to go can you tell me where I have. to park I m driveing around two three time still no parking pls do something for this big issue the rest of that I m happy for everything and I appreciate the whole stuff they are so friendly
The property management folks are great. My only issues with this apartment complex is lack of parking, and pool area. Last night I got home at 9:30pm, and could not find anywhere to park. I recommend that you give the tenants parking permits. Another problem is the pool area, since anyone can walk into it, due to no lock . I feel that people that hang out there are not tenants. One example, a homeless man got in the pool with his clothes on, stayed in there for 10 minutes, got out took his backpack, and left. The kids are always running around the pool unsupervised. This is a nice community to live in, wish we did not have these issues. I cannot recommend friends or family to live here, unless you can resolve the parking situation.
I would recommend because it's a great place to live, the apartments are beautiful and I never really had any problems. I might not recommend for someone on a tighter budget and I would mention that a person is unlikely to get much back on their deposit.
This is a great neighborhood. I feel safe and the staff are always ready and willing to help with whatever the problem is.
