Roughly an hour due north of downtown Atlanta, Alpharetta is a suburban community that has become a popular home base for commuters. The local public schools are excellent and residents enjoy access to several large parks and sports fields, adding to the appeal.
The shopping scene in Alpharetta is impressive, between the major-league retail hub of North Point Mall and the smaller, more boutique selections of the Avalon center and downtown’s Milton Avenue. While Atlanta may host a broader variety of arts and entertainment options, the Verizon Amphitheatre is one of the region’s most popular live music venues, attracting a packed roster of heavy hitters from all genres throughout the year.
Thanks to the efforts of home-grown entrepreneurs, Alpharetta has also developed a restaurant scene that regularly draws foodies and gourmands up from Atlanta for a taste.

Property Ratings at Seven Pines
I'm sorry this place was disgusting. I moved here from out of state and went off of the photos and what staff told me. The apartments look NOTHING like those photos. I stayed two days and quickly broke my lease and left. It's dirty, smells like mold and the apartment is always moist. In my opnion, you better off spending your money somewhere else.
Wouldn't recommend for anyone and forget about your security deposit if you are already living there. I've been living as a tenant for almost 10 years now and never had such a bad experience with any other rental community. First-off they don't do any move out inspection before you move out, which is very odd and never heard before policy, or give you any clear estimates for the major things like painting or carpet etc. and charge you outrageously for after you move out and threaten that you will be reported to collections and credit bureaus, if the payment is not made, a clear strategy from the management to extort honest working people.
Property Manager at Seven Pines, Responded To This Review
We sincerely regret that your experience was less than perfect. We care deeply about our residents at Seven Pines and want to provide the most comfortable experience possible. Our policy is to offer a Move Out inspection and we offer it to every resident.
I have been here for a little over a year now and the new management that have come in and started working are simply terrible. They are rude, short and not professional at all. If I could afford to move somewhere else I would because they are that difficult to work with. They even raised rent in the pandemic! My best advice is if you are looking for somewhere nice to live - look somewhere else.

Hello User, Thanks for sharing your experience. We completely understand your frustration and apologize for not promptly resolving your concerns. Your review is concerning to us and we need to know more. Please call 7709924978 to speak with someone from our team. Sincerely, Renata Machado
If you choose to live here, DO NOT live on the bottom floor or near the front of the complex. It’s close to Holcomb Bridge Rd and you can hear traffic ALL HOURS of the day. Living on the bottom floor, you can hear your neighbors all hours too. The walls and floors are exceptionally thin! We did have exceptionally inconsiderate people living above us but even when they were just normally walking around, you could hear everything. If you live hear, expect to hear everyone living around you, as well as cars driving through the complex and on the busy road out front.
I’ve been living here for 9 months and it seems like a good neighborhood, quiet. But my motorcycle was stolen a few nights ago. Right from the parking spot it sat in. The office manager told me the cameras don’t work. So not help from the community. However the maintenance staff is always quick for repairs.
While living at Seven Pines, I had an 18 month old and was pregnant with my second. A few months after living there, we began to hear rodent noises in the wall near the fireplace, as well as finding mouse poop on the hearth. The first maintenance request resulted in a rope being left hanging down the chimney so that what ever was in there could escape, which did not work. The second request resulted in them telling us that there was nothing that they could do about it. Over some time, a distinct smell of urine began to permeate our living room near the fireplace. Because of our toddler and new baby on the way, we became concerned from a health standpoint. Several more office visits, phone calls, and complaints were made and nothing was ever done about it. I would not recommend that you move in to this community if you are looking to be truly taken care of and provided for.
I moved here from Maryland less than a year ago, not knowing anyone or anything about Atlanta. I first landed in a community in Norcross, which was my worst apartment living experience ever. Three weeks after relocating I submitted a 60 day notice to vacant and started looking. I then landed in Seven Pines, which was about seven months ago, and I’m so thankful I found this place. It’s a quiet, peaceful complex and the grounds are clean and well kept. I don’t use the extras like the pool or exercise room but they have all the extras one would want. I rented a two bed, two bath and the rooms are really spacious. I have a king bed, two nightstands, two dressers, and a bench in my room and there’s still plenty of room. I had the pleasure of dealing with Michelle who is absolutely amazing. Being indecisive and trying to prevent another bad apartment experience, I called and emailed her a ton of questions. I came here three different times asking her to show me apartments. A couple times I either asked her to take me back to the same apartment we started the tour with or back to one I viewed during the previous visit. She was friendly, helpful, informative, and patient throughout it all. She even began asking me questions I hadn’t considered; trying to make sure I was happy with my next move after hearing about my experience in Norcross. The one issue I had since moving here was the ice maker froze and stopped working. I called the office from work one afternoon and asked them to fix it. The only reason I remember calling in the afternoon is because I was surprised when I got home that same day they had already come out to fix it. The service is awesome! The only gripe I have is they didn’t have a renovated two bed, two bath available when I moved here. I really wanted the new cabinets and floors in the renovated apartments but since there wasn’t one available I ended up in the classic style, without the updated kitchen and bathrooms. Regardless, I am again thankful to have found Seven Pines and am enjoying my time here.
Seven Pines property is in a great location! It is off a main road, which tends to be a bit busy at certain times of the day. However, the area is full of perks such as supermarkets, cleaners, movie theater, stores, fast food places, not too many restaurants. But, a few miles away there is the North Point Mall, also not too far from two major highways. Unfortunately, it is not on a bus route. So, I need to save up for a car. Lol. However, the complex staff are very helpful and courteous. The maintenance staff are very immediate when needing service. I've been in my unit for approximately 17 days now. However, there is a dog daycare center not far from the property and you hear the dogs barking and howling as early as 6:20 a.m daily! Then, it is on and off throughout the day. Outside of that, the complex is quiet. There are functions going on every Saturday, such as walking group, Chili cook-off, water aerobics... plus the pools (indoor/outdoor - heated) and are open all year around. Looking forward to that. Also, the location is spotless! You will not find a piece of trash anywhere!
The space I'm currently in with my roommate is really large for the price. It is within easy walking distance of Target, as well as a movie theater, bar, hookah lounge, and tons of restaurants. Not the best location if you want to be convenient to downtown or the MARTA but, with a bus station one exit up and the Dunwoody Red line two exits down is relatively convenient. Great area for families, amenities like a pool and activity courts, but the nature trail has to be my favorite. Like having woods in your backyard!
I never really write reviews but I have been looking for a new apartment complex and I've read many reviews, mostly bad, so I wanted to make one for this complex that I have been at for the past year. The only reason I am leaving is because the rent would go up higher than I can afford. I wish I could stay here. All of the staff in the office are very friendly, kind, and helpful. Maintenance is on top of things.they usually respond to a request within the day. The amenities are great! There's an indoor and out door pool and if one is being cleaned you can still enjoy the other. The pools are never crowded. My apartment was very nice and spacious. I was on the top level and never had a big problem, of course you find a bug every now and then but nothing major at all. The property is kept up with very well. I would recommend this complex to anyone, it was a great experience!
Large rooms nice floor plan great kitchen Great Neighborhood. Nice heated pool for the winter and a large pool for the summer. Lots of trees. Pet friendly. And always something to do in the community.
I am currently attempting to transition from Connecticut to Georgia. After researching areas and complexes, it becomes very difficult over time. In July, I spent a Saturday afternoon, looking for apartments in Georgia. I happen to just stumble upon Seven Pines getting lost looking for another complex. So, I said to myself, “Let me take a look at this location.” I was extremely impressed with how clean the grounds were. Not one piece of paper, cigarette butt, nothing on the floor at all. I met with a wonderful and full of energy Leasing Consultant named Yvette. She provided everything with a full folder of everything that would be needed. From the Renter’s insurance, to a moving company, to the usage of utilities, to the contact numbers for the companies as well. Also, things that are available around the area, and a calendar of what things are done with the community. It seems that it would be an ideal place for me to be. I am extremely nervous being in a new state alone. But, I have a feeling this complex would be good for me! She just sold the property and provide a full tour of three different styles of one-bedroom apartments. She provided options. As a single woman, moving to another state alone it can be nerve wrecking. She provided me with the assurance that I will be safe. I have decided to select this property to be my first home in Georgia. I will be moving in at this ending of this month August.
Seven Pines is an excellent community focused complex that really cares abouts their residents. I have lived hear for over 3 years, started in a one bedroom and upgraded to one of the big town homes. The complex is older with new renovations and the best maintiance staff you could ask for!! They will fix any problem with a smile, usually the same day. Seven Pines is extremely pet friendly with an off leash fenced dog park, multiple designated "potty spots", a dog/car wash, and the staff even keep treats in the office just for pooches!
Have not yet stayed here , only toured but wow it was amazing. The staff was very friendly and the residents seemed happy. Random residents would walk up to me and say "your going to love it here". I have never had this type of encounter while on a tour. Im hoping i can get situated and move in very soon. Best apartments for that price by a long shot.
nothing to write home about rent going up way too fast management does not notify about burglaries and other crimes
I originally moved into this apartment because the rent was good and even though the apartments are older the rooms are larger. Whenever there has been an issue with anything, the maintenance team answer right away. The office staff are usually friendly.
Office staff is very snobby.Lots of bugs in apartments, had to change room,"sprayed for bugs"before we moved in,bugs were still there,we complained and they told us they sprayed "so bugs arent there"Once lease is over we are moving out.Dont move here you will regret it.
