Downtown Denton wraps around its historic square. The Courthouse on the Square, built in 1896, is the centerpiece and landmark of the Downtown area. It is no longer used as a courthouse; instead, it is the Courthouse-on-the-Square Museum. The square is a gathering place for residents and is where a variety of events and festivals are held, such as the Arts & Autos festival, which combines local artists with car enthusiasts for a unique event that also includes food and live music.
This very walkable community is home to a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, and antique stores. Denton is a college town, home to both the University of North Texas and the Texas Woman's University. The city is known for its music, the North Texas State Fair and Rodeo, and a variety of music events that includes the Denton Arts and Jazz Festival. Downtown Denton is home to a variety of museums and art galleries, including the Bayless-Selby House Museum and the Lightwell Gallery at UNT.

Property Ratings at SEVEN TWELVE LOFTS
Im a resisdent of this place from 2 months. I felt the property is excellent. Maintenance is also good. Homes are also comfort with amenities. Leasing office member mainly cindy also helpfull.
Responsive maintenance team, apartments are nice, safe and clean
I have been a resident for some time now, and I can confidently say that this place has exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Modern Construction and Amenities: One of the first things that struck me about Apartment Seven Twelve Lofts is its recent construction and modern design. From the modern kitchen to the spacious closets, and high-quality finishes throughout the unit. Clean and neat surroundings: The surroundings are always clean and well-maintained. Active Leasing Office: The leasing office staff has been incredibly helpful throughout my time here. Responsive Services: One of the standout features of Apartment Seven Twelve Lofts is the responsiveness of the management and maitainance teams. Anytime I've had a question or a request, they've been quick to respond and resolve any issues. It's clear that they value their residents and take their concerns seriously. Safety: The controlled access through fobs and security codes adds an extra layer of security. I've always felt secure within the premises, and that's something that's important to me as a resident. I highly reccomend it to anyone seeking a comfortable, safe, and modern living space.
Same as another person on here, I paid a company to deep clean the entire apartment. I always had issues with management charging fees for no reason. They are very rude and unprofessional. After I moved out and paid what I was advised to pay, I get collections company calling me 4 months later saying I owe more money!!! I never even got an email, letter or anything from them advising this.
Don’t live here. They aren’t transparent, they nickel and dime you, they don’t maintain the property as well as they should, and it never felt vary safe. Oh, and there’s hardly any storage space. Redeeming qualities: my neighbors were nice, never noticed bugs, and maintenance was usually quick. I lived here for a year and a half. For most of the time I live here the gate was broken, but once it was fixed their were constant problems with peoples fobs not working. Rocks were also often used to keep doors propped open. I had a couple of packages go missing. After my first two weeks I heard GUN SHOTS across the street at the QT, then apparently unrelatedly found shell casings in the parking lot the next morning. About about a month after that there was a domestic disturbance in one of the house on the street directly behind in which about 5 cop cars showed up. There was also a time where I saw cops called because there were homeless people digging though the trash. As for my experiences with management and maintenance. Maintenance was responsive, but they really won’t work with you scheduling wise and always came super early in the morning. When I got my refund check back they had taken out about $167. $10 for replacing and air filter (which I did myself a day before moving out), $54.13 for deep cleaning carpet (only small bedroom is carpet and I vacuumed it before I left), and $102.84 for “Full Clean” (I deep cleaned, dusted, swept and mopped everything before moving out). Also be very sure to have everything in writing. When I signed my lease it was only supposed to be for a year, but was only 6 months. Before signing I told my agent the dates were wrong over the phone and he said to go ahead and sign and the dates would be fixed later. They never were. All my insurance and everything was set up for a year, so when I got a move out letter after 6 months saying it I resigned it would be a hike in my rent if I released, I was perplexed. I resigned at a negotiated lower rate than what was offered for a year (since that was all I had left for school). As for property cleanliness, I have a dog so I walked around it a lot and always noticed that many others didn’t clean up after their animals and that people would not put their garbage in the dumpster but next to it. Also there is NO RECYCLING!!! I would literally have to collect up my recycling goods and take them to the dump myself.
I was one of the very first people to move into these apartments when they opened in sept/oct 2016. Up until around this January-March, I never really had any issues. Now that the apartment is full, I'm very displeased with how the other residents behave. Many of them disregard the trash policy and leave trash bins out all the time. Additionally, the people on my floor love to come home at all hours and make ungodly loud noises. The people across from me like to leave junk in the hallway and, overall, just disrespect that this is an apartment complex that they share with others. Also, the only guest parking is on the street beside the complex and even that fills up quickly. There are no amenities and the management group is only available 8-5pm mon- fri so if you work and need to contact them, good luck. And, given that it is a college town, you can expect it to smell like weed often. Great place, but outside your unit is what you need to worry about. Moving to a different complex in Carrollton for the same price, but with more amenities. All this being said, it is still one of the better apartments in Denton.
