Property Ratings at Shannon Oaks
The apartments are very old and raggedy in the inside the toilets are always stopped up the tub water takes about 3 hours to drain the kids hang out all night and were even robbing people in the parking lot they give good reason of why you should stay there but they don't tell you that you would be paying high rent for things not to work inside the apartment and also the roaches are bad in Shannon oaks they have pet control but it doesn't work I wouldn't recommend Shannon oaks and especially if you have children.
I am still a resident...waiting on my lease to be over so I can move ASAP!!!! There are new owners who have taken over the apartments. Honestly, they are nice brothers but I feel like they are more concerned with the landscaping of the apartments than the repairs that are needed inside the apartment. Since I have rented here, I have had A/C problems very often, Water leaking from the bathroom ceiling, the ceiling in each room has accumulated dust (they claim there is nothing they can do about it). The walls on the exterior of the building need to be stripped and painted, There is cheap tile on the floor that will separate over time or fade in color if you mop it too much, there are only two maintenance guys who does a fair job. I also feel like they charge too much for the apartment units to say there are so many interior problems that has/is occurring. The pricing of the units should not exceed 675...but hey I am not the owner. you can move in at your own risk but if you have no other choice good luck!!!!
