Like the name implies, this district is home to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Although this neighborhood is a clear choice for students, faculty, and staff, the University District offers allure far beyond the campus. The neighborhood is filled with restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping options. Boulevard Mall offers over 100 stores selling everything from candles to shoes to candy. There is also an abundance of entertainment available within or near the community.
University District is home to several quirky museums including the Pinball Hall of Fame. SeaQuest Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Convention Center are also housed in the district. On top of stellar amenities and fun-filled activities, University District is in a prime location. The McCarran International Airport is four minutes from campus and the world-famous Las Vegas Strip is only seven minutes away.

Property Ratings at Mezzo
You feel safe since it's gated and they have their own security service that goes around and approaches people if they're causing problems. They have trees and plants which is always nice to have, and there are no bug problems. I'm thankful they don't have grass because this is a desert. Paying for utilities is easy since it's all handled using the very same portal. People at the front desk are helpful and particularly Summer is very proactive and solution-oriented. Amenities such as the pool and the gym will pretty much never be available so it's best not to look forward to them. Many providers, including Cox, do not provide residential high-speed internet service here , so your only options are LVnet or Cox daily passes.
Lets start with the fact that the management team lied and said that I can stay until July 10 without getting an eviction on my door. That was a lie. I woke up on the Friday before that and saw they already stuck one to my front door now they want $2440 even though my lease ended at the beginning of this month. Very very scummy. Lots of shootings. Lots of people stealing I’ve been robbed living in this neighborhood twice in a matter of a year police and security hanging around the complex, but not dealing with any of the crimes being committed in or around the actual neighborhood.
I moved in about two months ago. One of the reasons I chose this place is due to them having a fitness center. Since I moved in, I keep getting the run around on when that will actually open. The pool still has not opened either and it is always one excuse or another as to why neither are open, just always hear, "check back in 2-3 days"... two months later I just gave up hope. None of the units have screens on the windows and your key will be a keycard like if you were staying at a motel. The one thing that I will say is they have outstanding customer service. Everyone I have seen at the office is amazing and patient. Summer, particularly, is always willing to help with a smile on her face.
The staff is great and kind to everyone that walks through the door! I love me new apartments, and feel right at home. Everyone is accommodating and maintenance responds fast!
I stayed here for a year and had to switch units 3 times. First month renting here unit had a terrible leak from upstairs. All my furniture/personal items were completely damaged. I never got reimbursed for none of damages that were caused. The second unit had a very bad leak and would leak every time it would rain. Maintenance came 1 time just to paint over the gap where the leak came from but that didn’t do nothing. My daughter and I got sick from the leak because it caused mold on the walls/carpet. It took 6 months for us to finally get switched to a different unit. The newer unit was nice and had no problems. The staff were ok but I wouldn’t recommend living here. The crime rate in the complex/area is high and terrible to live especially if you have children. I’m happy to say I am glad I have finally moved out even tho they are claiming I owe money for fees I was never aware of, which is another reason why I don’t recommend moving there they hit you with fees and never notify you at all about anything!
Even when after you move out properly they will claim you lived there longer than you did, then damage your credit with charges that shouldn't exist. The staff are unorganized, unprofessional on so many levels, and they treat you poorly for choosing to live there . Nice when you first move in, but irrelevant to them afterwards. They will gladly take your money for rent, but they will do nothing make living there for you more comfortable, as a paying tenant, this should be top priority. I strongly urge not to rent here. They changed the name of the property, but not the staff and management. They are just trying to cover up bad history by coating it with a new name.
No problems with cruddy occupants. The apartment I am renting is so cute and clean. I couldn't be happier. No bugs but if I saw one I would ask for my place to be sprayed.Everything is easy to get done. The staff... awesome!!
I live in a apartment complex that included in the rent are cable, power and the staff is always pleasant. Always keep the pool clean. Close to a mall and about 100 other shop's. For me this perfect, widow all four of my kids are grown and a lot of tenants my age here. And I feel safe here.
I have lived here for over four years. The rent is a very good price. And all utilities are included except for online, but im able to get online with wifi anytime. The outdoor scenery is beautiful and i feel like im living on an island with trees, grass, decorative stone and a lighthouse appearance for the main office. The grounfs are maintained, plus carpet cleaning, spraying for pests, and other things are at no exta cost. I love that its pet friendly With no wt. Restrictions. Its close to bus lines, convenienve stores , and food stores, and a ten min. Walk to the boulevard mall. Security is onsite and are good at making me feel safe. It also has an outside laundry and swimming facility, pool. Pool is also decorative. The apts. Are mostly one br, good for couples or small families. I plan to stay for awhile, long time. Thank you.
