Holland and Zeeland are neighboring towns in western Michigan off the shore of Lake Michigan. Most of the area is rural and filled with wooded spaces and farmland, but the commercial parts of Holland/Zeeland are situated between both towns in the southern section of Highway 31. The commercial section of town features plenty of modern amenities and entertainment like hotels, restaurants, big-box stores, grocers, and more. A theme park, gardens, and trails along Macatawa River are located in the area as well. More outdoor recreation is provided by Lake Michigan and Grand Rapids, which is only 30 miles northwest.

Property Ratings at Shoreline Flats
Since the apartment complex is new most of the actual features are great. However I don’t know what the office actually does, they do not take noise complaints seriously if I’m still dealing with partying neighbors after 5 complaints. The maintenance manager takes days to fill the tiniest request (2-5min requests) and is only seen driving in a golf cart and smoking. However the other maintenance guy, Fredrick, does an awesome job and has a quick response times and is friendly to the neighbors. I know the complex itself is new but this shouldn’t be the staffs first time in a job like this.

I was the 1st tenant to move into a beautiful 2 bed 2 bath flat. I loved my home...the craftsmanship may have been hasty...but the features and design made up for it. Moved to Tennessee but when I return back to holland next winter I'll be checking here again for availability.

Like many other apartment complexes, this is just overpriced garbage. It looks pretty, sure! But there's paint all over the floors, the balcony, and tiles, where it doesn't belong. Oh but it's okay, because the paint comes off if you rub it with water. This includes the walls too!! Speaking of which, the walls are so thin I can literally hear the neighbors conversations word for word. You can tell construction was rushed and then NEVER corrected because drawers don't open because they weren't installed properly and doorframes have HUGE gaps in it. This is a brand new complex so I'm the first to live in my apartment. Also! Unless you pay the extra $200 a month for a garage (which won't be near your unit) expect to park across the street! Oh and the views from the apartment! Big beautiful windows! Too bad the only thing to look at is the parking lot and your neighbors across the way that you can see clearly through said windows. Lastly, the hot water! Or lack thereof. Big beautiful bathtub in the bathroom! Unfortunately, you only get about 3 inches of water in it before water runs completely cold. Be ready to take quick showers if you still want hot water after!! Go somewhere else!! Run far, far away from this place!
