Ive lived here 5 years and don't plan on moving anytime soon.great location,they always have something going on in the club house for residents. Nick, Claudia and the rest of the office staff are wonderful. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I think my upstairs neighbor is a river dancer. Other than that I would recommend this property 100 times
I would strongly suggest looking for living elsewhere. This was my fifth apartment to live in and by far the worst experience I have had, and that includes my college apartments. If you accidentally back your chair into the wall, massive hole. My wife and I have had BOTH of our cars broken into in the parking garage. The staff is uncooperative and unhelpful. You couldn’t pay me a million dollars to live here again. Anything that could go wrong did go wrong. The location is the only thing this place has going for it, and there’s 10 better options to choose from with the same location. Counting the days until I am out of here right down the street.
This place is quiet, beautifully maintained, and worth every penny. As a single female living alone I feel safe with the covered parking and regularly rotating security guards. The pools are beautiful. Sometimes they get too crowded over the summer, but oh well. Everyone who lives near me is quiet and respectful.
I am so happy to finally get around to writing a review. My husband and I will be entering into our 2nd year. The Staff (Katrina, Meia, Nick, Brittney, Claudia and Marisol) are ATTENTIVE, FRIENDLY and HAVE MADE US FELL WELCOMED, SAFE and have accommodated any needs we have encountered. Spacious Floor Plans and Quiet Living on the Lake! Many other perks we have taken part in which have made this AMLI feel like a home and not just an apartment, is the time and effort, the OFFICE staff takes to have events in the common areas(Free Coffee, Free Plants and Chocolate Covered Strawberries). Thanks you guys! We are so thankful for you!!!!!!!!! And OH YEAH WE LOVE THE MOVIE THEATER and the many GRILLING STATIONS.
So many issues with this apartment complex. Do not move here if you value working elevators, quiet neighbors, apartment walls/ceilings that aren't made out of paper.
This property is dirty. There is dog poop for days in the hallways and stairwells. Possibly along with urine or maybe a leaking roof? The elevator is usually broken so we leap over it hoping for a safe landing. I do not stay here ever by myself as I do not feel safe as s single female.
DO NOT MOVE HERE!! You pay way more then you should. The walls and floors are paper thin. Maintenance just fixes the problem enough so they can leave but never fully fixes it so you end of putting multiple maintenance requests a month. They find reasons to come into your apartment all the time. They let people residents run around with their dogs not on a lease, my dog even got attacked once and the apartment couldn't do anything because they were not sure if they were a resident. People speed through the garage and even after multiple complaints the complex has done nothing to stop this. This place is for sure not worth the money, or any of your money at all. There are many beautiful properties in the Las Colinas and Dallas area that are a much better investment.
We live in a 2bed/2bath apartment here. Great location with all amenities close by, a train station and walking trail nearby. However, lately some of the facilities has been taking a long time to be fixed. There are just 2 elevators for this 3-building complex and one of the main elevators has been breaking down quite regularly causing a lot of inconvenience for those having to take the stairs on a daily basis. One other thing this AMLI could do better is the allocation of the 'reserved parking' spaces inside the parking complex. Way too many reserved spaces compared to the ones everyone else can use.
We looked at every apartment complex on or near Lake Carolyn and found the AMLI Las Colinas was the best value/price and largest square footage for a two bedroom in this area. We had downsized from a 4 bedroom house (after 20 years) and had our wishlist of what our apartment would offer. The living space is large and well planned, we also have a large balcony (you can opt for more indoor space and not have a balcony), overlooking one of the complex pools - which is very quiet (not a highly utilized area). My husband is self employed so the Business Office is very important to him, and the AMLI is top notch (two conference rooms and individual stations around the room) - again not heavily utilized. We also enjoy the workout facility and yoga room; and the outdoor grilling and dining areas around the pool. The only drawback is the kitchen cabinet space, we enjoy cooking and entertaining guests, so it's not as much as we would like but we have made it work because the utility room is just around the corner and has excellent shelving and storage. The highest marks go to AMLI for their outstanding response to service requests and the helpful office staff - who really listen to their tenants and do what it takes to make them happy. This was a great find!
Great location in Lake Carolyn in up & coming area, right in the middle of the DFW metroplex. Amli Las Colinas offers several amenities such as 2 fitness rooms, 2 great pool areas, multiple gas grills, walking trails around the lake, etc, free WiFi business center, etc... They have a 24 hour or free rent maintenance request policy & most of the leasing agents are helpful although they will try to bombard you with hidden fees.
I had the 1 br and study. I loved this floor plan extremely spacious. Large walk in closets! Beautiful flooring and upgraded appliances. With 2 pools! The only draw back is the walk from the garage to my unit and not having a balcony... But living off the lake is beautiful.
