The casinos may be what draw visitors to Reno, but the “Biggest Little City in the World” has become an exciting, alluring locale for renters who can look past the slot machines. For one thing, the famous nickname is a bit of a misnomer these days: with a quarter-million people inside the city limits alone, the community has become one of the busier metro areas in the region. There are incredible apartments on offer, from upscale lofts to communities that offer endless amenities.
Downtown Reno is certainly best known for its gambling, but there’s a multitude of attractions to experience in this neon-lit city. Delight in the shopping at the Summit in southern Reno, or experience some of the museums, performing arts venues, world-class restaurants, and diverse nightlife hotspots that offer something for every taste.
The natural landscape surrounding Reno is perhaps the most appealing aspect for many.

Property Ratings at Shoreline Plaza Apartments
Rent and fees have been raised 46% in a year. Every week, it seems there's a new fee to pay. They just make up fees you need to pay even though there's language in the lease that says they need to give you notice. The apartment is trouble. Boiling hot in the summer, freezing in the winter. Landlord special everywhere you look. Management only communicates via text. There's mold in the bathroom they won't fix. You can see the light shining in through the door when it's closed and locked. No insulation, windows rattle all day. Can't see your parking spot because the lines are so faded. Overcharge for utilities.

CONS: Shoddy Maintenance, old/small appliances, muddy lawn (yes -- in the desert... muddy lawn...), hidden fees (on top of paying own power bill, pay 4x as much for property utilities each month -- approx $150 - including a $3 fee for the privilege of being charged), Wasps in the walls, horrible parking lot, lots of homeless camps, constant thefts and vandalism, nuclear reactor level lighting ALL NIGHT - that you have to pay for, very cheap carpeting, unsealed windows, old AC units, no public transportation access, loud trains and metal/auto shops for neighbors, way too expensive for size (Jr 1 bedroom really means a 400' studio with extra walls taking up what little space is there), no sense of community, and very anti-green. Pros: The lady who cleans the laundry room is so sweet, and the new manager is also very friendly. end of list.
The managers here "prefer" to communicate by phone, meaning if you prefer to communicate by email, you will receive the most degraded service possible.
Bed bugs live in the walls!!! Management is AWFUL they got rid of their last girl in the office for using drug money to pay rent. The new one is no better. PLACE IS DISGUSTING furniture always laid out from tenants. Some infested with bed bugs. Don’t move here for crap and they raised the rent !!
I returned here after mistakenly attempting to move "home" to Buffalo, NY. This is MY perfect place to live because MGMT is TIMELY with meeting needs; All common areas are always kept clean of trash; tenants are well-behaved & polite; THE GRASSY GROUNDS, SPARKLING CLEAN POOL, TALL MATURE TREES & TRUCKEE RIVER ..a Millionnaire could wish for this!! Let us all tenants continue to be grateful and respectful to our Mgmt. This complex is unique & A DREAM COME TRUE! F.A.
I've been in these apartments for 3 years now. It's very quite and peaceful here. It's well maintained and the manager and assistant manager are very nice and respectful.
Ive lived here over 5 years and its extremely quite and the apartments are older but well kept. they sit along the river and the trees and scenery is very peaceful. the management staff is always there to assist you with any problems and they also do a great job of keeping those out that don't belong.
This place is so quiet and relaxing. The grass is green and the pool is a tranquil blue. I love living here the neighbors are quiet and polite and management is personal and understanding. Great place to live right on the river too!
