Shorewood

So far so good! The whole apartment was updated. New floors, new carpets, new appliances and it looks like the windows are new too! Very satisfied

Everyone has been great so far. Move in was a breeze and the grounds crew cleaned up immediately after a huge storm. Bit change from my last apartment.

Shorewood is great. The apartment has such a good layout and is spacious. The sidewalks are amazing for walking your dog. The gym is perfect and has everything you need. The residents are kind, quiet, and respectful. We love living here.

Shorewood is a great place to live. The gym and clubhouse are great, as are the staff and sport court. The views of Lake Washington are great too.

Love the apartment and neighborhood. Wish security and safety was more of a priority. Maintenance has been very dismissive of request for a new, uncracked door and frame.

Lovely environment with the mature landscape and stately buildings. Nice neighbors and terriffic staff. Staff services have been very nice and responsive. Love the overall sense of community.

Shorewood apartments are conveniently located between Seattle and Bellevue. The neighborhood is quiet but you can easily drive to one of the nearest cities to eat out. The management at Shorewood has improved since I moved here 4 years ago and I appreciate that they’re looking for more ways to service their tenants. One thing they need to work on is answering their office phone.

Best complex apartments to leave in the area . We love everything in Shorewood, and for us is just “home sweet home”.

The Shorewood has been a great place to live. It is in the perfect location to quickly get to the major cities of Seattle and the surrounding area is beautiful! The office staff is always friendly and responsive to messages. I will be renewing my lease this year!

The staff here is very helpful, even with cosmetic or minor things they are still treated as important with the staff. They are all very friendly and helpful. I have suggested to other friends as to how great Shorewood is to live. It's such a beautiful property.

I really enjoyed the moving in process, everyone was very nice! The neighbor greeted me and the staff was helpful and friendly! One of the maintenence men even welcomed me to community!

My partner and I’s experience at Shorewood Apartments is still a pleasant residence! We love our little 1BR and the location with everything that is near us from the biking/walking trail, Luther Burbank Park, and the downtown area. Staff is friendly, communicative, and helpful with anything that may concern us or that we need assistance with. Great amenities, maintenance team is responsive and informative, and our community is kind and safe. We plan on renewing our lease and can’t wait to be here for another year! Thank you Shorewood team for all that you do!

Shorewood is a wonderful, beautiful and quiet apartment community on Mercer Island. Strongly recommend!

We love our apartment here. Great neighbourhood, but it could do with some improvement in maintenance of the public facilities and management.

Overall all great place to live. A few minor issues. Garabage disposal is broken frequently. Parking is a bit of a pain. But nothing more than minor inconveniences. Staff is great, friendly and responsive.

The Community is very calm, Clean, and overall nice to live in. The amenities provided by Shorewood are perfect. So many small things like the trash pick up make living here better.

It’s cute like Pleasantville, it’s centrally located between Bellevue and Seattle, it’s safe, the island is a great place to start over again & I couldn’t imagine leasing anywhere other than Shorewood.

Overall, my partner and I love the Shorewood property and everything that comes along with it. The amenities, atmosphere, floor layout for a 1BD and 1BR, and the location close to the I-90 bike trail and downtown area of Mercer Island. The leasing office is full of friendly and welcoming individuals that always address problems that my partner and I may have with our experience living at Shorewood. From emails to in person conversations, the team always has assisted us in resolving our APT issues. The parking can be a battle zone at time throughout the day with narrow and in particular lots very tight parking spots, but for free parking it’s something not too complain too much about. Amenities from the gym, accommodation room, outdoor trails surrounding the area are very nice to use. Especially the gym upstairs in the clubhouse for residents. My partner and I always feel safe and content about walking around anywhere both night and day. Door to door trash service is most of the time good, but at times can be a little absent by not being picked up in a couple days in a row especially with a $25 a month fee to add. One unique aspect of Shorewood my partner and I really do love and appreciate is Shane P’s weekly newsletter that is sent. It’s very well written with events going on throughout the island that could be your interest, additional things going on around the property from property fixings to common resident concerns. The end of the letters usually hold a poem at the end that we always look forward to. I really appreciate the news letters because it keeps me up to date with my living experience. Shorewood is a great little place to become a resident! Cozy, safe, and great atmosphere apartment that my partner and I will be hoping to stay another year!

Love this place. Great location and lovely apartments. The landscape is great for walking dogs, the neighbors are kind, and there is plenty of parking at the complex.

Besides the ants and the spiders it’s quite adorable here… I like the escape from the city and being surrounded by nature. Some of the amenities can use an upgrade and we can definitely use more community events but all in all the staff are amazing and the community is peaceful

Although we have only been here a short period of time, Shorewood has appeared to be a great community. There are always dogs walking around the circle and the big trees make the atmosphere more pleasant. We look forward to the rest of our time here.

Terrific support staff, beautiful well maintained property in buildings of character. Location works great for our family. No regrets or disappointments.

It’s been a smooth transition moving into this community. There are plenty of cozy neighborhoods to walk or run. Lots of food options nearby.

Shorewood is the perfect location for me. It’s close to Seattle and Bellevue. Since living here in 2020, property management has changed and there’s a more concerted effort to meet the needs of the residents.

The office was having internet and phone issues when we first arrived, so it made the process take a bit longer. But the staff was great, and were able to answer all of our questions.

I've lived at Shorewood for a year now and love it. It is quiet and has a nice neighborhood feel to it. The staff are friendly and the maintenance crew are responsive. It is conveniently located to shops, the library, and other community resources. It is also very pet friendly. A great place to live!

If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful, but affordable apartment, this place is for you. We left downtown to find somewhere safer and affordable and got lucky to find this place and it’s everything we could ask for. Buildings are a little bit older but still so cozy. Looking forward to extending our stay.

Shorewood is a beautiful place to live, for the price aspect its priced lower than in neighboring towns like Bellevue and Seattle. I consider it as a haven in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the surrounding cities. I am leaving because we bought a house but if not I would stay here for sure. I work in downtown Bellevue and it takes me 15 min to and from work with traffic ??. I will surely miss the convenience of living in Mercer Island. I love it.

My experience at the shorewood has been excellent. The staff is very friendly and responsive. The weekly newsletters give a lot of great information about events here and within the community. My partner and I feel at home here!

The location is amazing—near various parks and greenways, as well as a 15 minute drive to either Bellevue or downtown Seattle. And the community itself is surrounded by trees.

I have lived here for 4 years now. Love how beautiful the property is and Love my neighbors! One of the best things about my experience here living on the Island feels like a small community with a slower placed feel. Slower paced than busy and sometimes hectic Bellevue.

Good first impression, there are alot of things on your plate as you move but there are alot of tools at your disposal and the shorewood has been very helpful when I had questions

Still enjoying my stay at Shorewood Apartments. Clean and well taken care of property with beautiful summer weather and amazing community events. Love the free ice cream on Friday’s from the office staff. Excellent newsletters about information surrounding the island as well as news about the area. Gym and clubhouse is great for staying cool and active during heat wave. One of the treadmill’s is has not been working for an about 3 weeks or so. Hope it will be working again sometime soon. Other than that my partner and I still love our time staying at Shorewood! Thank you everyone whom keeps our experience here worth while !

The neighborhood is very quiet and calm. Although the buildings are older, they are still very well maintained and look nice. The amenities in the apartment complex are perfect for our Lifestyle.

Shorewood is a good location for access to Seattle and Bellevue. They are more concerned about APPEARANCE than actually trying to fix situations and make them right… more concerned if you have a sticker on your vehicle when using trash receptacles but leaving broken, exposed light fixtures & wiring in building hallways.

Used to be well kept when previous family members lived here, no longer is . Hallways are full of spiders, banged up walls, and in general seem to be falling apart.

The location and the groundskeeping are great. I'm not the biggest fan of the apartments because few units have balconies, and I love spending time in fresh air without having to go outside. Oh well. The basements, unfortunately, are sort of filthy too.

Everyone in the office has been so kind and helpful with my move in process. I got a lease quickly and everything was processed so seamlessly
