I toured this complex recently and while the leasing agent was very kind and considerate, the company would only show us a model unit which is a red flag. While touring I also saw that the laundry facility was flooding, there were holes in the ceilings, and the mailboxes were left strewn open. They say they’re under new management and I hope that they make some much needed improvements to this complex, because what I saw was not great. The various fees mentioned were also pretty inflated and ridiculous for a place that’s THIS run down.

TRASH EVERYWHERE rats and roach infestation! Maintenance takes FOREVER all the did for the rats is lay traps and never came back to check them. Horrible place to live. RUNNNNN!

Please please please do not move here. I currently stay here and it has been the worse nightmare. Specifically the last year. Let’s start with the homeless people that break in the empty apartments and do drugs in them. Rats, roaches, broken windows everywhere, graffiti, the wash rooms suck, the gates suck, I DO NOT feel safe here being a woman living alone. I literally had the call the police last week bc 2 homeless people broke into the apartment next to me and were doing crack. Police didn’t even arrest them, just escorted them off the property. The property doesn’t fix the windows so it’s so easy for the homeless people to find a place to sleep at night. The people in the office do not care and are so rude. The manager never reaches out to anyone. I really don’t know what she does. I was told to email her about an issue so I could have a paper trail and of course it’s been months and she never responded. Please please please for your sanity don’t move here. About half the units are empty for a reason. YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!!

Trash everywhere, broken glass, homeless people staying in the abandoned apartments because they don't lock them, painted tubs, rat infestation, roach infestation, ignore maintenance requests and mark them done, I mean the lists goes on, I wouldn't let my worst enemy stay here. Get out while you can, everything is a lie including the management.

I’m sure you can find an apartment here, everyone qualifies. They have plenty of space, lots of empty apartments with broken windows and no doors. I wish I could post pictures here of how abandoned and trashy this place looks. It gets worse by the day. It’s sad how they don’t care about their paying renters.

Llevo 8 meses viviendo aquí, no conozco otros condominios pero si hay uno peor que este debe ser debajo de un puente. La corriente exterior lleva más de un mes reportándose y nada que han solucionado el problema, parece esto una boca de lobo, el aire está contaminado por donde quiera que caminas es mariguana lo que inhalas, la seguridad es 0, portones sin control entra y sale Houston completo, basura en todos los pasillos, mi departamento vive ocupado de ratones y cucarachas, el gimnasio fantasma que ponen lleva más de un año cerrado según ellos por infiltraciones, los autos amanecen con los vídreos rotos o con las gomas picadas, para cobrar la renta si tienen el uno si el día 5 cae domingo y ellos no trabajan igual el 6 ya están poniendo recargo de 100 dolares o desalojo en 3 días aún si pagas el 6 temprano. En fin le doy 1 estrella ?? porque no existe el menos 5.. estoy rezando porque lleguen los 12 meses de contrato para perderme de esta pocilga. Debajo de un puente se vive mejor.

Guys do NOT rent from this place! This is the worst mistake I have ever made. Trash everywhere, anyone can park there, office staff is rude and no sense of urgency when maintenance such as AC is not working especially here in Texas. I have been without ac at least 4 times in 10 months, their excuse is that they are waiting for parts. Really parts, 4 different times, no exageration. They do NOT care! The manager never answers her calls or calls back. Is there even a manager?! Just horrible!
Don't waste your time coming to this apartment complex, super bad service, everything is a problem, you see a lot of criminals, garbage thrown in all parts of the condo, people who live here leave garbage in the mail in the corridors in front of the doors, animals they do their business in the corridors and when you need something from the office they tell you that they are very busy don't waste your time and money super dirty these apartments have bedbugs and cockroaches

I moved here at The Plaza and was astonished to see how quickly they were ready to fix things immediately and the ladies in the office are very helpful and friendly, I am glad yo have moved into a place such as this.
These are the grossest apartments,they take forever to come fix things and the ladies in the office swear they get paid a lot. They talk to people like these apartments aren’t overpriced for what they are...the stairways smell like pee and have a lot of broken beer bottles,do not move here
I have been here for 4 months and everything is great, the location is Excelent,the apartments are nice,confortable, is quiet and the price is good, the maintenance answer quickly i recommend this place,Is is really friendly willing to help and all the staff is good.
I lived here for 6 months and the hole time I was here it was trash on the stairs and they never fix anything! I wouldn't refer my enemy to stay here!! It's always loud music and people hanging out in stairwell smoking. I'm glad I olny signed a 6 month lease!!

Its has been the worst couple of weeks for me!!!! Office people are very rude if you go in to file a complaint they start to speak Spanish to each other that's very rude. I've had to keep calling about my shower , air conditioning, mice and roaches and I only been there for 3 weeks !!!!! They fix things when they feel like it . I cant wait until my least is up good price but treat customers lie crap. Its sad that its pretty quite but the management makes the experience terrible .
I have been living in the property for 3 years and I have very good maintenance. Everything small or big is fixed at the moment and the girls in the office I like their customer service very much ... very good educated and very well behaved neighbors I recommend them a lot If you want to live in peace, I can call you home. I've been living here for more than a year and I'm really satisfied. The location is excellent, the price is the best in the area, the community is quiet. Maintenance is fast and the team in the office very attentive.
The location is great !! I love how everything is almost around the corner. Galleria mall is like 5 minutes away !!! The office staff is amazing and beautiful also kind hearted :) andrea , anaii, and iris have been super proffessional and sweet towards me . I love how they work together and especially how they made me feel welcomed when i first walked in through their office doors. The plaza on westheimer is one of the best places i have been in. Its great here & super affordable !!! I LOVE IT HERE :)

Things don't work properly and no one takes the time to fix it. They hardly ever answer the telephone when you need assistance. Worst place ever! Don't recommend it to anyone!
I was resident until few days ago and it is the worst place to live security socks and residents are really harmful. They traffic drugs and sell even to children make robbery in the buildings and even when the manager and her staff have been notified they do nothing and permit this thing happens. A lot of resident have moved because they are afraid and are not safe on this complex. Maintenance is the worst they do fix anything. I was 2 months without hot water and manager did nothing. And the rent price was the same even when residents made a claim. My suggestion is do not move there. You will appreciate not save money whit this cheap rent
I am a Current resident and have Tons of Roaches in the Apartments , I called several times For pesticide and they just keep increasing , it fills like a Roach apartments , now slowly from KITCHEN, its all in my closets and in Living area, they crawl up in clothes and bags and I am really worried now, that when I move out, I will really have to be careful , they will travel in Boxes and clothes to new Apartments . Also Management Doesn't Care about this Issue at all. I have been there several times regarding Bunch of maintenance Issues and they really DONT CARE. They always say, Maintenance Guy will be there TODAY and TOday never COMES. I cant wait for my LEASE to be OVER so I can Move out
the manager and his assistant are rude are the worst, who lived for four years and seen six different managers and have never seen a very, very terrible Such as the current administration, I hope to finish my contract to get out of these apartments, I do not recommend it to anyone.

I had only a couple of days to find a place and chose the plaza because it was affordable and close to my job. I regret it to the fullest extent!!!!! It was roach motel, insects everywhere, dirty walkways, people would leave their trash anywhere. Management would take 2-3 months to fix an issue and even then wouldn't complete it. And worst when I threaten to call the city the front office said "she'll never call them". Worst customer service ever and don't seem to know or care about complex
I stay by everything, and I do mean everything! There's any and every type of food near by, I'm literally 10 minutes from work, there's entertainment spots every where around my spot, but this review I not supposed to be about how much I love to eat and play so lets get to what I like to call my Pretty Ugly but Awesome Bad apartments. The management is not the best, its a huge property and I honestly think they either need more maintenance or less lazy maintenance. The people around here don't really bother you if they dont know you, I live in the very last building and it gets a bit rowdy back here but most of the time its pretty calm and peaceful. I stay on the third floor, I love the inside of my apartment, I'm a pretty clean person so it stays pretty decent. However the outside looks like they went through hurricane Katrina and were just moderately refurbished. I've been here for about 5 months and I've seen 4 small roaches in all, but outside is a different story! I wont even go there, just know its a nature friendly place. Parking sucks! To sum that up. Rent is awesome, I have a one bedroom right now and it only costs $575 a month to live here, 618 at the most with water, gas and trash, which is great because I can't afford anything more right now with my two babies so I make it work. All and all the best thing about this place is the location, convenience, and price, I'm not too crazy about everything else but when you're on a budget you make it work! Hopefully this was helpful, I was as honest as possible. Good Luck!
I relocated here from another state, and needed a place right away...something in a decent neighborhood, and affordable. I selected this property sight unseen (this has worked in the past, but a mistake in this instance). First off, the neighborhood is fabulous!! The Galleria area is sublime! Dining, entertainment and tons of shopping! This apartment community...well... Upon arriving, I was impressed with the outside...then the leasing office as well. The women were nice, and as I drove through the community with my rental truck, I was like..."Ok...." As soon as I went through the entrance to my building and arrive in the courtyard, my heart sunk!! People were frolicking about and were all TOO comfortable. I grew up in this type of environment, but since grad school and many years in the suburbs, it was an immediate culture shock...and not a good one. I instantly wanted to bail, but of course I had just signed a lease, moved here alone and had nowhere to go. So, I sucked it up and made the best of it. Within seven months, the property had been sold, I was repeatedly harassed (some guy would knock on my door all times of the night requesting “favors”), had a BREAK IN (absolutely devastating), neighbors from you know where, and heard a shooting in the courtyard (which surprisingly never made the news)!!! I wish this was all untrue, but it is absolutely the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. In short, things are improving, but this isn't any place I would recommend or want to stay. I'm making plans to move out at the end of my lease, and hope that I can return to suburban salvation in the near future. Stay here at your own risk, but unless you're looking to experience a never-ending nightmare of the unknown, increase your budget and stay elsewhere. It's just not worth it!
These are probably the cheapest rent around and can be enjoyable, but they have serious bug problems no matter what you do, no washer dryer hook ups, and the wash rooms aren't really that good either, and no visitor parking at all. The area is great and you are close to everything and as long as you take great care of your apartment you'll be fine.
The area of the apartments is very convenient. The bus runs around the area, you have access to The Galleria Mall along with lots of stores and great food places. I have no problems with roaches in my apartment and my apartment is nice and cozy. Unfortunately, it has cons. There is barely any visitors and/ or resident parking. There are times when trash is everywhere. The apartments are old and need a good paint job. Overall it has been an average experience. It could be better.
