      It was very easy to lease an apartment at Sierra Pines, mainly because of the help from Shallie who has great customer service skills. Shallie showed me the apartment, the interior is just amazing and the location is safe and clean. I highly recommend Sierra Pines as the management staff are skilled and friendly and their buildings are well maintained and clean.

      Sierra Pines is a great place to call home! It is tucked away minutes away from shopping, and anything you fee like eating! I have a one bedroom with a balcony in my bedroom, and a balcony in my living room!

      Love it here! It’s pretty quiet. I like that there is street parking and the covered parking for the summer. I love the laminate throughout…makes it much easier to clean up messes and looks really really nice. Bedrooms do have carpet which is nice for your feet.

      Work orders take excessively too long to get worked on. No notice ahead of time for access to work on orders. Excessive pest problems since the day of move on. Water gets turned off too often with absolutely no notice ahead of time.

      Save your hard earned money

      Save your time and money. These apartments are not what they advertise to be. If you can afford to pay a little more for a complex that actually takes care of business go elsewhere. This is an honest review after a year lease and multiple ignored in person as well as emailed requests and work orders on issues! They have constant water leaks in the complex and shut off the water for hours or days at a time. You overpay for water bills and when you request your reimbursement they pretend they didn’t know about a leak. And don’t refund anything. But we have the emails to prove how many times they have active leaks. Laundry mats are always out of service. You pay to have a washer and dryer in your apt and it doesn’t work. They send incompetent vendors who do half jobs to temporarily fix the issue. Have been in my apt without a working washer since January!! They don’t answer the phone or call you back ever but when you go to the office they are always on the phone. Their AC units are so outdated that they leak and hike up your electric bill with no correct fix to that problem! The icing on the cake is that the community lights are always going out. By the way you are charged for all these extra services on your monthly rent bill! They have active lawsuits for overcharging people and I am not sure why they are even allowed to keep operating! Ownership changed in January to Greystar and it only got worse! As I said please save yourself the headache and money and rent else where!! You have been WARNED!

      Sierra pines is quiet, very convenient shopping. Most shopping can be done in a 2 mile radius. Make sure to have lamps, only overhead lights in the kitchen/dining area. Most closets have no lights. Storage in kitchen is small at best.

      Look somewhere else

      When I first moved in, Sierra Pines, was ok. They were in the middle of upgrading some units. Some units were the old upgrade ones. This time they were doing vinyl floors, different paint, light fixtures but keeping the same cabinets and just painting them. Within the last year and a half management and office staff have changed. Don’t know who is in the office. No one ever responds to emails or answers the phone. Water issues have been happening at least once a week. This complex has had open parking for at least 15 years, now they are assigning parking spots but only to the newer remodeled units. I have to request to see if any spots are available for a spot. For now have to park on the street. There is a third party company that manages the utilities(water, trash, sewer, community area electricity, gas, and pest control). That price fluctuates monthly. Never know what amount to expect for it. Just crazy that I pay more for water and trash here than when I was renting a house. I will say maintenance is always busy doing repairs and are fairly quick. These apartments are becoming over priced and not worth the cost. I’m fortunate to have moved in when I did. If you don’t have to live here, don’t.

      Look elsewhere

      Terrible place to live. Constant water heater problems. One minute it's scalding hot next day it's freezing cold. They can't seem to ever get it fixed. Pest control issues, apartment is littered with cockroaches. Maintenance takes days to reply to a request and when doing so don't actually fix the problem. Laundry facilitates are from the 70's. No amenities to the complexes such as gym as closed at 5pm. Very unsafe area. Have recorded attempted break ins. Allow drug dealers to lease in apartments. No gated community and no security patrol. Homeless people constantly in the area that will loiter on the playgrounds and basketball courts. There are plenty of other choices in the area that are leaps and bounds over Sierra Pines.

      We are sorry that you are not happy with the neighborhood and community. We strive to provide a quality home for all of our residents and continue to improve the community. Unfortunately, when we took this property over in June 2020 there were many maintenances, neighborhood, and pipe issues we had to replace and/or address. We are working hard to remedy these issues and improve not only the property but also the surrounding area. We can't control many of these things in your post, as crime and a homeless presence is everywhere right now which is very sad. We do make an active effort to ensure our community is just that, a community, and help each other out while being good neighbors. With Covid, many things have had to be adjusted this year for the safety of all. minimizing hours of operations and amenity hours is one of those things. We hope 2021 will bring a more positive outlook and positive changes for all of our residents. Thank you again for taking the time to review our community. Happy Holidays.

      Warning!!!

      This apartment complex consistently shuts off the water. Almost weekly since I moved in from 2018 til now, and starting October 31,2019 to November 18th 2019 from 9:00 am to 5:00pm they are shutting off water. Absolutely ridiculous I do not recommend anyone to move into this place.

      Worst place ever to live

      Please don’t waste your money in here !! 1. At begging utilities are low in the middle of your contract your bill utilities goes up like crazy!! 2. It’s so bad homeless at looking in the garbage all the time they don’t let you sleep, and always trying to open cars !!!! 3, it’s not cheap to not have security people 4, in the laundry some of them don’t work and it’s too late to know until you put your quarters in there !!! 5, as much as you have clean the neighbors might be dirty because there’s cucarachas everywhere 6 drawers are 7. Paint is cheap They only nice thing about living here are the new appliances and the lady’s at the office are very nice but that’s all about it !!

      Conveniently located

      This is such a nice place to live in. We all have enjoyed our stay here so far. Close to the various restaurants and grocery stores. Best apartments in the area; my apartment is fully remodeled and best of all is how convenient it is to have washer and dryer in unit. I dont have to pay extra to go to the gym they have a fitness center here and my daughter loves the playground. If you are looking for affordable, convenient and cozy home you have to live here.

      Lovely Calm Place

      I have been living here for now 4 years and I love my home. I first came in when Zack was the manager and have never had an issue with any residents nor the staff. They were always very friendly and respectful and so is the new staff. Whenever I bring something to their attention they acknowledge it and find a resolution as soon as possible. I would definitely recommend this as your new home sweet home!

      do not move here!!!!

      DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! office management is the absolute WORST! i moves into an apartment, which is supposed to be the 'upgraded version' and it's a complete mess! (only attached ONE photo, there's plenty of more) upon move in, the floor was DIRTY. bathroom was DISGUSTING! urine all on the walls behind the toilet. dried up urine in all over the toilet. roaches in the kitchen drawers. they never answer the phones or reply back to emails! and to top it off they have a snobby attitude whenever you step inside the office, as if you're a bother to them.

      Homeless people everywhere

      I have lived here for 3 years and the security has gone from minimal to non-existent. The supposed security patrol is a joke, I have seen them a couple times in the past 5 or 6 months when I come home late at night. There are no gates for security like the apartments across the street, so homeless people will wander around the grounds as they please and the complex refuses to put any deterrents or bring any real security in. I've had packages stolen early in the morning, cars get broken into at night, the garbage bins are always being ransacked. The canal right next to the apartments where they always leave their filled up grocery carts literally had a wall of fire right next to the complex the other day, next to cars and maybe only 30 yards from the building. If you come for a tour, they really roll out the red carpet and put on the show for you, but if you really value your safety, I would steer clear. I can't wait for my lease to end, maybe finally I will get some sleep knowing my car and apartment are secure and be able to have friends and family over without being embarrassed of living in a dump.

      best for the area

      The area is not the best, and nothing here is great. That being said if you have to live in the area sierra pines is the best tour going to get. Office is friendly, maitenance is nice and sufficient and the apartments are great sized for the cost. Have night security which is nice. If you have to live here its the best if the worst
