Property Ratings at Signal Hill Apartment Homes
Pros: Management will try and work out issues immediately. Decent size apartments. Gym has a good selection of equipment. I-95/EzPass Shopping nearby. No Pest or Rodent. Remote (mobile) access may have been my favorite feature. Cons: Thin walls, I could hear my neighbors using the bathroom, casually talking if you’re near the wall (where bed and couch located), hear their dogs barking, and when water is being used the pipes makes a weird noise. Low water pressure in bathroom. I think it’s weird that I was charged carpet cleaning fees when I left it SPOTLESS! I just feel like that should have been a Signal Hill cost of business when flipping the apartment for the next tenant not the departing tenant. Just comb through your lease at the end of the day I guess. Out of management control: fairly clean common areas, the cleaners sometimes wouldn’t actually sweep they would just mop. Minor trash here and there, like someone will occasionally leave trash (empty cup or large spills) in the elevator. Fire department near by so you will hear emergency vehicles daily. *Some* Dog owners would leave their dog on the balcony barking for a period of time and let them poop near the entry ways and not pick up after. Overall: Decent community. Good Neighbors. Low Price fits the apartment size. But lease renewal offer was not worth that amount.

Hello, Thank you for your detailed feedback regarding your experience at our apartment complex. We're sorry to hear about the issues you faced, and we appreciate the opportunity to improve. Kind Regards, Madison WeCare@udr.com
Lovely community and amenities but their communication skills are lacking. Make sure you read all 30 pages of your lease as they will not honor what the leasing agent told you on the phone. As well as no TIMELY reminders as to write a 60 day vacate the premises BEFORE 60 days. That way you won’t be stuck with a month to month fee even though you moved out well ahead of time! Nothing worse than paying for a property that your not in. For 12 days at that!!
So, I have tried to reach management and have tried to work something out but I guess things have to be handled publicly. So my time here has been okay at best except for the end, there was a shooting in the apartment right next door to me. The bullet flew over a woman with her child because someone was playing with a gun. Police were in the building for the better part of the day. They have not caught the person who lives in the building and there is increased police presence. I have not had a response to any of my emails or phone calls with the exception of someone in the management office picking up the phone and slamming it back down. I have since left and have been making two phone calls once a day everyday and have not had a response. Management here obviously does not care about the safety of the residents here otherwise they would answer an email or pick up the phone.

Hello, I'm sorry to hear your experience. We expect our team to treat all residents and guest professionally and with respect and it seems we dropped the ball. I wish we were able to get your concerns resolved in a timely manner. I cannot see your name to be able to reach out to look into your concerns. Again I'm sorry for the experience you had. Please feel free to contact us with additional information such as your name so we can look into your concerns. We appreciate you choosing to be a resident and we hope to have the opportunity to gain your trust back. Hello, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. The only way we improve is by listening to our residents. If the construction was going on at our building, I'm sorry for the noise. As far as construction outside of our community, we are not able to control that. The trash dumpsters were emptied on a schedule determined by the trash company. The amount of trash depends on how much trash residents are throwing away. We ask residents to please not pile up trash. I'm sorry for the length of time it took for our team to address your concerns. I'm not able to see your name to look into why it took a number of days to be resolved. Our community offers unassigned parking spaces as well as reserved. Reserved guarantees you will have the same spot every time. We encourage resident who would like to have an assigned space to opt-in for their own parking space. I'm not sure who told you to "just deal with it", but that is not what we expect from our team. I'm sorry you experienced that. We hope to have the opportunity to gain your trust back. Kind regards, Quay Neach 720-348-7620 WeCare@udr.com
The apartment was in decent condition when I moved in, however, I was shocked to see all of the added fees that were not listed up front. This includes a $34.00 a month fee to pay online even if add your account in. I left after they tried to add almost $100 a month to my rent. I left my apartment in immaculate condition and not only did I not get my deposit back, they advised I owed them a $150 additional cleaning fee. I would advise looking elsewhere!
Looks good on outside but when you move you'll be disappointed. These are many hidden fees upon departure from the cleaning services to the "outstanding balances" that should have been deducted from my deposit if there were any damages..but there were none and it was not. I was away on orders for 6 months so the apartment was brand new..I just don't know why they treat tenants this way. It's a shady unnecessary way to get money. The staff changed and became very greedy. I hope it goes back to how it was when I first moved in. As of right now, would not recommend. I paid almost a months rent in fees upon my departure.
Thin walls , no park for children and extra fee and charges . I was told that game room stay close all the times but no they close 5 to 7. It’s not worth the rent . I am leaving and renting down the hill.
If you are looking for a convenient location that has everything this is the ideal apartment; it is right off 95 and you are able to get on the HOV going north or south and it has everything you need right off of Route 1. It doesn't gets any better
Love my apartment. It has everything I need. Couldn't ask for more.
Nice amenities, updated interiors with nice space and features. Not sound proof though, can hear everything neighbors do. Maintenance is good and fast, management is friendly and helpful. Pool is nice with nice fountain feature. Very noisy interiors though, can hear all footsteps and toilets flushing, bath water running in sureounding apartments.
This is a great place to live. It's in walking distance to the mall, outlets and restaurants. Unlike other apartments in this area, the staff and maintenance crew are incredibly helpful and quick to assist within the same day and night. I never had to wait a day for their assistance. It has a great gym facility, lounge area with computers and a game room big enough to have a fitness group in. When I come home from work, I'm in another place when I get home. It makes me feel like I'm in a resort. I'm relaxed. It allows me to immediately shut out the hustle and bustle of the work week.
Noice updated interior, high ceilings. Nice landscape. Noisy living area though, can hear anything and everything your neighbors are doing. Good management, spacious apartment sizes.
Spacious units, Comfortable layouts, Relaxing environment, and a family friendly community close to shopping areas and close to main highways. Public transportation available. Also Pet friendly. Maintenance and staff are friendly and helpful. Safe place to be.
