Property Ratings at Signal Pointe
I had a pleasant and smooth move in experience. The staff is very friendly and attentive, the property is a clean and safe gated community with the gates actually working. The apartment is spacious with updated appliances….washer and dryer in the unit is definitely a big plus. I am new to the community and loving it so far. I highly recommend.

Hi, reviews like this give us motivation and help us ensure we provide high-quality care.
The apartment was really nice! Better than I expected honestly. Super clean and spacious. Enough room for me and my kids. The plus I was able to get a first floor and we are right next to the playground so my kids can enjoy that. I love the fact it’s three pools in the apartments to avoid overcrowding . Would definitely recommend for other future residents

Hi, we're so glad that we were able to go above and beyond your expectations!
Roaches all over the apartment. In the kitchen, bathroom, laundry, living room even the bathroom closet , This apartment homes Keep away from here because since day one I complain of roaches, and then after I move out, I had to throw all my furniture, my so far my bed all my furniture away because it’s full of roaches. My neighbor left because of the roaches issue is uncontrollable.
Since I can’t get my ongoing issues fixed through our portal and office / maintenance staff, maybe this will get the help that I need? I have been having issues with my washing machine since February. They replaced it after 3 requests. Then another came in and it had ongoing issues. The replacement one first had coins in the pump. Then it was leaking and I was dismissed when I entered the requests for it. Then it was smoking. I called in THURSDAY. Heard nothing until today. Now it’s still smoking after they “fixed it”. I contacted the office and they told me to put in a maintenance emergency. The maintenance team got rude with me stating it wasn’t an emergency. I had an issue a few months back with a weird sound from my AC that kept getting dismissed. I ended up being told - by the maintenance manager - that there was something wrong with my air conditioning unit and it could have caught fire. However, that’s not the only issue that I’ve reported numerous times that has been dismissed. People smoking in a non-smoking community and nothing being done about it. To say that I’m displeased is a GROSS UNDERSTATEMENT. For rent to continue to go up yearly but the conditions continue to go down like they are - this is absurd.
Two months before our lease ends we inquired upgrading from a 1/1 to a 2/1. Between calling, texting & office visits (because they either never answer the phone or take a while to text back) we spoke to multiple people and it seemed like no one was on the same page about all previous conversations. We confirmed the apartment we wanted was available, scheduled our walk through and told all the paper work was being taken care of for us. Come to find out, we get our new lease forms to be signed and nothings changed. Still has our same apartment and rent amount. Called to question, of corse no one has answers. Went to the office and was told they leased the apartment to someone else. Should have known to get something in writing when you deal with people who do not care about customer service and are just in the business of making more money. The only thing they offered is to pay month to month, an extra $400 per month, until a new apartment becomes available. To top it off, per our lease we are now past the point of notification to move out without having to pay a penalty. I highly DO NOT recommend this apartment complex.
This place is a complete rip off and they charge you for things that are non existent. Do yourself a favor and stay away from here. Also unless you plan on paying extra for a parking spot, expect to not be able to find one.

Greetings, When I moved here at Signal Pointe Apartments (Greystar Management Company) in November 2016 . Lots of things happened but I was willing to just let go and give them another chance or the benefit of the doubt about everything…starting with my fist day of moving and the billing issues. They told me (staff Taylor) my bill water will be between $ 25.00- $30 because he pays the same amount. Sadly to say that was a lie- they keep charge me more and more every month. 1st month- for 400 usage 2nd month - for 800 usage 3rd month- for 1000 usage Not sure how this bill can go up and up every month 1 person ( 1B/1B)- no pets- no kids- no dishwasher- nobody at home all day I tried to talk with them but they keep say the NWP is charging me. When I called the company NWP- they said the Signal Pointe send the numbers to them for the bill. When I asked Taylor (staff member) specific and directly about my water bill again he said Yes- there is metering system that allows the Signal Pointe to bill me for the actual amount of water used. Sadly this was another lie- the 2nd lie about my water bill I just found out from NWP the Signal Pointe receives the water bill for the whole building and simply divides it among the tenants.

The staff at these apartments are incredible! They are super friendly and always keep the grounds clean! Highly recommend!
Signal Pointe has the greatest staff! They know how to run an apartment complex! It’s always clean and pest free!
Signal Pointe Apartments is located in charming Winter Park, FL just a short distance from Downtown Orlando and University of Central Florida. A gated community with numerous amenities including free wifi, media room with computers and printers. Three swimming pools with sundecks, exercise room, doggie park and car wash facilities. Management is responsive to maintenance issues and the residents are considerate and clean. Retail and banking exists within walking distance. Units are clean, modern and well maintained.
I've lived at Signal Pointe for 4 years now, and have loved every minute of it. It is a clean complex, with great staff. They respond to any issues you may have timely and are super friendly and approachable. It also has a great location and is centrally located. It is very close to park ave, but you aren't paying those crazy winter park prices. I highly recommend.
This is a great apartment complex. The maintenance staff and management team are super friendly and helpful. All the facilities are modern, and clean. The location is also great!
I have been a resident of Signal Pointe now for three years. I have had nothing but a great experience. The staff is top notch. If you have a concern, it is dealt with immediately. The service really is great. The maintenance staff is responsive and goes out of their way to make sure things are handled quickly and efficiently. My one bedroom is roomy and the wood floors and giant walk in closet are great. I am just a quick drive from Park Ave, which makes the location awesome too. Publix and Starbucks are directly across the street. Its a gated community that is clean, has great amenities (3 pools and a fantastic clubhouse). What is not too love?!
A decent spot to live. Cheap apartments and decent commodities make for a solid 3 stars. Master bedrooms are large and utilities are decent.
First off, we have lived here for over 5 years, so it's not all bad. Our apartment is fine, it was nice and remodeled when we moved in (it needs some TLC now, however). Most of the parts they used are very cheap and wear out quickly (carpet....yikes, pipes underneath sinks, dryer, etc.). The bright side is the maintenance staff. They are great, very quick to respond, and very, very helpful. The grounds are very nice, green grass, lots of neat landscaping, and the pools are usually clean. One of the reasons we have stayed so long is our location. We are located in the far back, and our screen door opens up to a big grassy area, and the fitness center, volleyball court, and pool are very close. It's very quiet over there, and the grassy area is great if you have dogs. If we were stuck in another location, facing the street or closer to the front, we would have most likely moved out long ago. Living near the front puts you in the path of a lot of cars, and a lot of those people drive very reckless around the complex, so beware. Finally, management has been a pain in the past. They have had several transitions since we have been there, often with different policies which can make things very confusing. As with almost any apartment complex, they will nickle and dime you every chance they get. That being said, there has been a few people working up front who have been very helpful and understanding. I feel that it would be much better, if they had a consistent management staff that put their residents first, not the 'almightly dollar'. This could have something to do with corporate behind the management, however.
I have lived in Signal Pointe Apartments for 15 months now, and just recently renewed my lease for another 12 months. Since living here I have had a wonderful time. The location is Prime! Everything for a healthy lifestyle is nearby, from LA Fitness to GNC, Fancy Fruits & Produce, 3 local bars, Bob's Nutritions, Colombian Restaurants and Smoke Houses, Diners, Ross, TJMaxx, you name it, its here. The apartments themselves are extremely nice as well, and the community is great! Definitely recommend to future tenants.
My wife an I recently relocated here from Ohio and looked far and wide for something available in the Orlando area. Signal Pointe was the only pace that had an opening. We were pleasantly surprised to find a nice clean one bedroom for a fair price in the Winter Park area. The square footage is not ideal but all units come with washer and dryer included, updated kitchen, hardwood floor in living room and kitchen, and walk in closet. Definitely a must see but ask all of your questions up front. They have a nice staff here but more 'sales' driven than quality when leasing to new tenants. Maintenance still has yet to respond to one of our issues but it is a minor issue and otherwise the on call maintenance is wonderful. We are happy with our choice.
