There's no playground here! And we don't know when we will be getting one. We have been told numerous times that there is one ordered, but still there are no updates on when it will be installed. The playground was removed on March 2020. No playground for Silver Creek for over a year

My wife wrote a review 3 days ago stating the management was unprofessional and rude. They with held our deposit due to normal wear and tear and the manger was completely unable to help or explain anything. She had commented back on that review stating, she had sent us pictures and that damage to the carpets and blinds were not normal. We now add this. We did not receive any pictures or email from her with the damages. We received a printed out piece of paper with a pass or fail that had some comments next to why we failed, most of what we failed was due to cleaning being needed such as dirt at the bottom of the toilet or our washer having soap residue on the bottom of it. We are upset with how she handled the situation with the blinds. We understood they were broken and mentioned this issue to her twice and even pointed them out to her during the pre-move out inspection. Not once did she give us an idea of what the damages would cost. Only stated that it was indeed “normal due the blinds being extremely cheap”. She only went back on her words to me and my wife after we were hoping to receive our deposit back. Then stating they were “expensive” and would be a majority of our deposit. We are upset this was never mentioned to us while pointing the damages out so we could have a better idea of how much our returned deposit would be. Seems to us that they are only trying to hold on to deposits, failing us on everything because they needed to clean which is required of them by law to do before new tenants move in and with holding actual cost of the blinds. We are also upset she claims to have sent pictures when in reality, we received nothing, no kind of contact from her until a week later when we called her and she informed us “she was having trouble uploading the photos” and that was why she did not contact us at all. We stand by our first review and feel she is completely mismanaging the complex and the tenants who live there. She lies, goes back on her word and is completely rude to anyone with issues that involve her. We will not be working with her until we receive word of our deposit and have spoken more with corporate on her and her unprofessionalism.

HORRIBLE PLACE AND DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! I took a look at an apartment supposedly available and decided to submit the application with the fee and deposit. I didn't hear back from them and instead received an email that I was placed on a waiting list and had no apartments available. i emailed them, tried to call them--no response. I decided to look for another place and submitted an application with the new place. I emailed Silver Creek letting them know to not process my application and to not pull my credit as I had already found a place which finished the whole process within an hour. Within the hour instead, Silver Creek pulled my credit and I know they did it out of spite. They claimed later that they emailed the screening agency to cancel my application and it is not true as I spoke to them and they didn't get anything from them saying to cancel at any point. Now, they refuse to give me a letter simply stating to the credit bureaus to remove the check as my score decreased by 13 points thanks to Silver Creek's negligence and bad processes. They keep saying I signed the application and agreed to the credit check. First of all, I signed an application because you promised an available unit and not to be placed in a waiting list which they admitted it was a mistake on their part which cancels the application as it's negligence from your part. HORRIBLE SERVICE, PROCESSES, AND MANAGERS.

Jose, I am truly sorry that you still feel this way. The BBB determined we addressed the issues within your complaint and closed the case. You were told that home was being reserved for you. You were not placed to be on a waitlist. We never received any calls from you, you always chose to communicate through email. We did not check your credit out of spite. In fact, we are not the ones who check your credit, once your application is sent to our screening company it is out of our hands. On December 28th, 2018 at 10:46am we sent an email to let you know that we still had an apartment reserved for you. We did not receive any notification that you wanted us to stop the application process until 11:58am on December 28th, 2018 which was after we had already begun to process your application. At this time, your application had already been pending for 4 days and the credit check had already been completed. Again, we are unable to generate a letter to remove the credit check. You electronically signed and submitted the application on Monday, December 24th, 2018 at 4:13pm. By submitting your application, you agreed to the credit check and gave authorization to the release of information with regard to residency, employment, financial institutions, public records including criminal convictions, liens, judgments, and references to Sound Screening Services. If you have any additional concerns, I would encourage you to come in to the office or call 253-904-8530. I am in the office from Monday through Friday from 9:00am-6:00pm. When first moving in we were really excited about the price and the look of the apartments. But over time things gradually went down hill. It was built quick and cheap and was falling apart before we even moved in. Parking is terrible, if you get home after 6 there is a very little chance you will find a spot by your building and will end up needing to walk across the complex. It is on a busy street and street noise is inevitable and loud at all times of day. Management changed 6 months to a year after living and the new manager is completely incapable of handling her job with professionalism or courtesy. Any questions asks does not seem to be answered or clarified, almost seeming like her, herself does not completely understand the process. She was always hard to get a hold of and most of the time seems very passive aggressive when answering questions. Much of our deposit is being with held because they needed to do some cleaning in our apartment and when asked for clarification she became completely unprofessional and rude over the phone, unable to answer questions or resolve anything. It seems like when you don't complain about her or ask questions she can be nice but when any issues come up that involve her she just becomes blatantly rude and completely unhelpful. My husband and I are in the middle of speaking with corporate right now because we can not work with her anymore. Parking and noise is a very small issue and a little inconvenient, but I wouldn't suggest this as a place to live mainly due to her and her unprofessional management style. We are now in a house and very happy to be away from there after two years.

When we spoke about your move out charges, I had already provided you with a move out condition report as well as pictures of the damages. I make 6 grand a month but providing my pay stub was not enough to get approved, no felonies same job for 19 years.... was approved @ a different apt in 10 min.

Warning to anyone who chooses to fill out a leasing application for this place... We applied online on Friday March 24th. We paid the $42 x 2 screening fee and the $200 refundable holding fee. The screening fee was withdrawn the following Monday. The holding fee wasn't withdrawn until the following Friday March 31st. This was the same day that the status of our application changed from "pending" to "cancelled". Wondering why our application was cancelled, I called Silver Creek that day. I got a message that said their associate had stepped away from the desk and to leave a message and they would call back within 72 hours. I never received a call back. I called every day and finally got a hold of someone after 4-5 days. I gave her my name and told her about my situation. She put me on hold for about 5 minutes, came back on the line and then hung up on me. I figured it was accidental and waited for a call back. None came. I called 3 or 4 times after that within an hour of being disconnected and no one answered - it went to voicemail. I finally found out through a letter in the mail a week later that our application had been denied - not cancelled. That's fine but why couldn't she have just told me that? By April 21st, I still had not received the refundable holding fee. I called and by a miracle from Heaven, someone answered the phone. The person stated that it takes 15 business days to process and return the holding fee and that it would be mailed in the form of a check to the address on my application. That was great because at that point it had been exactly 15 business days since our application had been denied and I still live at the place that was on the application. I figured that I would receive the check that day or within a day or two. As of today, it has been 20 business days since my application was denied and I have not received my holding fee. To take a week to withdraw it was odd. To take 20 days to return it is ridiculous. For some people it is no problem. In my situation, I need all funds possible to use to find a place to live. If this is the runaround that people get just when applying at this place, I can only imagine what it will be like for those who live there. Goodluck
