DO NOT MOVE HERE ! The place is horrible. It was the worst living experience I have ever had to go through. The whole leasing staff is terrible. All they do is lie and ignore any issues. Maintenance will not fix any requests. There will be trash all over the complex and that’s what cause the apartment to be infested with bugs ! Please do not waste your money and move here. They will lie and say you will receive your security deposit back but will never send it. It is not worth it !

I been waiting almost a year to write this post now that my lease is almost over I can finally tell people how NASTY this place is. It is roach infested!! I had told them several times about the roaches but they didn’t do anything but feed them it seems like. They say they’ll call an exterminator, but they cannot tell you when they’ll come, however I called my own that I paid for and was told it’s NOTHING that could be done because the type of roach they are. They don’t need a male to reproduce, and mostly produces females. I have woken up to roach crawling in my bed (more than once and sometimes on my arm), my refrigerator & freezer, bathtub in the morning, and was greeted by them just about every day & night in the kitchen. I been living out of my boxes for 11months because I didn’t want to unpack my belongings. The office staff is ALWAYS changing, and the current staff is very nasty-nice (RUDE). If I could give them no stars I would. Just look elsewhere. The price your paying here you can get a nicer place that is bigger and roach free.
If I could give zero stars, I would. On September 30th, I visited Silver Creek apartment. I spoke with Maxice and told her I would like one bedroom and one bathroom apartment. She advised me of what was available and asked if I would like to go on a tour. I said yes! Of course, she showed me a beautiful upgraded one-bed, one-bath apartment with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. I advised her that I liked that unit and wanted one that looked just like the model. She went over a couple different unit numbers and told me which was upgraded. I applied, got approved, and called in to see if I could move in sooner. They switched units and still told me the unit would be upgraded. About an hour later, they called back and switched my unit again to an upgraded unit. Maxice also emailed me three different welcome letters with different prices. I called to verify which one was accurate, and I was told the last welcome letter was correct. On the day of October 23rd, when I arrived, something seemed off. Everyone started talking in Spanish and was talking about my move in amount, and I automatically knew something was wrong. I was quoted the wrong amount and had to pay more before I could get my keys. Then, once I received the keys, I noticed I had no refrigerator. Then, when my movers arrived, I noticed I had no granite counter tops and no stainless steel appliances. I went into the office and advised them they did not give me an upgraded unit, and Maxice said the unit is upgraded. I asked what was upgraded about the Unit, and she said the floors.... At this point, I feel played and very disappointed. They use the word upgraded to loosely. For some reason, they don't know the difference between a basic unit, a partial upgrade, and a fully upgraded unit. You cannot call an apartment with black appliances a vinyl floor upgrade when you have whole granite counter tops and a stainless steel still upgraded apartment. Never rent from here. I have reached out to the district manager and corporate with no response. They won't transfer my unit for 90 days. I do not recommend these apartments. They do not take accountability when they are wrong.
DO NOT MOVE HERE. I have been here for 10 months and they have change office staff five times. Be aware the place is running over with roaches. Their pest control seems like they are feeding them instead of killing them. Also pay attention to what you sign on your lease. They will charge you for PDLW (property damage liability waiver) or RLL (renters legal liability) as another name so you have to pay an additional $15 monthly even if you have your own renters insurance coverage which is some bullshit. You have been warned not to rent here, take it from me, you will be counting down the months to move out of this roach motel.
So first thing is first I would not recommend anyone to move here because I asked when searching for a apartment moving in from another state what was the requirements to move in an they told me that I would need offer letter from my new job an my old job had closed an laid off everybody because of someone tested positive for Covid. An i had been out of work for around 6 months or so. So I didn’t have any old paystubs an the lady told me to send what I had an I did. And then after they took my $350 for processing an I got approved then they waited days later to call an tell me I couldn’t move in because of my unemployment gap which I had already explained. So these people are full of crap an liars i didn’t appreciate their service Point blank.
My car and my girlfriend’s car got broken into ATLEAST 4 times in the year and a half we lived here. Maintenance was never reliable. You call the office and they just don’t answer calls despite you calling once an hour at a time (no one is that busy every time you call even on different days). INFACT here I am 5 months out from the date we moved out, and I noticed a hit on my credit. Well despite the fact we payed this complex every last penny according to them we owe them $256 for god knows what. I say this because it shows to have occurred in March. If you read this review you would have noticed that I stated I moved out in December. I have received no bill, no phone call, and ONCE AGAIN I’m calling the front office and CANNOT speak a human being. I harbor deep resentment for the lack of customer service here, and really came in hoping this complex would be different, but no.
I have been living at these apartments for about 5 months now, and have seen dramatic transformations. My apartment is by far the nicest I lived in. I love the dark hardwood floors, chrome fixtures, granite countertops, backsplash, and water fountains. The staff did a great job helping me find my home, and making me feel appreciated. Silver Creek is a wonderful place to live, the residents are kind, and the management will keep you informed about the community. The maintenance guys are on-time and helpful. They are strict on curfew, and it makes me feel alot safer. Big plus, I love that. The parking enforcement has improved, it's much better than before. Silver Creek Apartments are the right place to be!
Just moved in. My apartment is renovated and looks great. Open floorpan, and I got a carport right outside of my front door. There are 3 pools, and the complex is like 1 big circle which i think is nice. Office people are nice. 5 stars for me
Worst apartments I ever dealt with. They changed my lease more than 2 times before even moving in. They told me I would get the biggest one bedroom available with everything upgraded. They then proceeded to call me days later saying my move in date would change to Saturday instead of Friday. Ok cool, they sent a new lease to sign and changed my whole apartment without letting me know. . Saying that my first apartment wouldn’t be ready for a while so I was like ok how long, only 2 days so I was like that’s fine. They then proceeded to call me to tell me the original apartment I was supposed to have wouldn’t be upgraded(but from beginning they said it would). So I had my mail and furniture going to the wrong apartment because they changed my whole apartment size & number. Very unprofessional, unorganized, and wouldn’t recommended to no one. PERIODT.
Currently they’re under new management. I miss the old staff but the new staff is just as friendly and the manager was kind enough to waive the 60 day notice fee. I would not be moving out if they have a big place available at the time and I haven’t secured a new place but I will return

I cannot wait until my lease is up in less than 60 days and I can move far from here! Their “multimillion dollar upgrades” when they were supposed to be installing new carpentry is really used wood for siding, used gutters, and new awfully ugly paint. Only new roofs and apparently they are supposed to remodel the pools and it will take “3 weeks” so we will see what happens. They changed the parking policy and now visitors have to PAY MONEY to park in visitors parking and visit you, otherwise they WILL be towed. I am a resident and my car was towed 4 times within 90 days because of their lack of sign placement for where people are to park. when you can find parking, that is. Oh, and if you lose your resident parking sticker, they charge you $150 for it. They truly make it impossible for you to have any visitors. 2-3 tow trucks pull in the complex at exactly 10pm every night and they consistently tow all night long. After 3 straight days of registering for visitor parking, they block you from being able to register anymore. I don’t know why but it has happened to us 2 times. You have to be on the insurance and the registration in order to get a resident sticker, so anyone who has a car not in their name will be towed (happened to me those 4 times, my car is in my parents name because they helped me in the past). For trash, you are only allowed to use the valet service if you have 1 bag of trash that fits into your trash can outside of your door. Any additional bags left outside of the trash can (oh I’m sorry I cleaned and have 3 bags ??) you are charged $25 per bag! It’s a gated complex, but the gate is consistently broken. The numbers box outside of the gate to get in doesn’t work as well. If you don’t have a gate clicker there is no way for you or your guests to get in. The maintenance team doesn’t know what they are doing, it takes multiple trips for them to fix simple issues and they don’t solve your complaint, they just do a temporary fix so it messes up again anyway. The old management team was nice and My only complaint about the community was the gate not working right. This new management company is jacking up the prices on everything like this is Austin Ranch or some other luxury Plano/Frisco complex. It is NOT WORTH THE MONEY here. You can find somewhere else with the same rent cost that is nicer, and with better management than the new team.

I am truly sorry you feel this was way. We have just began our Rehab and yes it can be frustrating, We completely understand- we took over this property 49 days and we hit the ground running. We have 3 pools here at Silver Creek and not all of them are having the same things completed. We will have active pools before the end of summer! Trash Valet is a door to door amenity and we ask that you don't leave the trash sitting in the breezeway- if trash valet is not picking up then let us know or call 877-574-2587 Our pb-guest.com blocked vehicles after 3 days of registering in a row- You can always contact me directly if you are having issues with our parking, we want all of our residents to be able to have parking close to their apartments and have open visitor parking for guest. Disregard comments over a month or so old. We have new management and they are absolutely terrible. They are rude and management will not talk to you. If you have a concern they are not helpful and get snippy very quickly. They do not respond to emails. Utilities went up without warning or reason and they cannot explain why. The parking changed and now you have to register visitors car. They try to control the lives of their tenants. Had I known they were going to change the policies I would not have renewed my lease. Place is crap now. Been here 4 years and will not be renewing my lease with this new management. DO NOT MOVE HERE!

I recently moved in from and Perla has been AMAZING from day 1! She has always been available to answer my questions and is super helpful and friendly. When I moved in, the water that was coming out of the shower was scalding hot. I reached out to Perla and within 20 mins maintenance was at my door and fixed the issue. I love that the apartments are gated, I just wish they were gated all day long instead of being left open during office hours. I would recommend this complex to anyone looking in the area.
I’ve been living here about 5 months now and I absolutely love it here! Nice quiet friendly place to live! The office team are very understanding and great people.. they will solve any issue you have within seconds! Alex is a sweetheart and goes above and beyond expectations to assist you! My apartment is an upgraded unit and it’s amazing!

The looks will definitely deceive you. On the outside it looks nice but once you move in you will realize how terrible the parking is. The rules that the apt complex has makes you feel like you are living in a dorm. I was so thankful when my lease was up. This place is a over priced dump.

Ive been here 5 months!! from day 1 nothing but issues, & this is by far this is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. I moved to be closer to work, and I have friend who live in this complex a couple buildings down. Parking here is horrible.. look at all the other reviews if you think I am just bitter tenant.. They assigned me a parking spot that belonged to someone else, so imagine moving and you have to park 7-10 buildings down from your unit. After complaining, they gave me 3 months free parking for a spot they found for me a week after move in. EVERY month since, I have had to speak to the office about adjusting my rent to reflect my concessions. Parking continued to be an issue, as they showed me where the "visitor" parking was located before I signed my lease. I had a friend over and instructed them to make sure to avoid covered parking and to park in the designated area. I didn't know, that a week prior they decided to paint over the words "visitors" that previously was stenciled on the spot in black paint. This was their failed ditch attempt to make additional parking for their residence without notice. My friend was towed out of a then "visitor" marked spot. The property manager Tausha, is THE WORST. she belittled me, gets smart with you, and refuses for you the consumer to vent and let out your frustration. I got the corporate number, and not surprisingly they never returned ANY of the number of messages I left. Our parking lot and stairwells are allowed to be dumping grounds, would make sense seeing that this property has only 1 dumpster on site. The number of stray cats helps keep mice and roaches away, but the number nails on the ground 7 people (including myself, neighbor, my best friend, and her partner) have had to obtain new tires!! Maintenance is allowed to go into your domicile without forewarning you, or leaving a document saying they were in there. I had boot prints on my couch, ALL my lights on, and handprints of grease on my walls and patio door whilst, I was at work! I complained to the office, and instead of figuring out and trying to fix the problem, they deflect and put it on others such as moving companies, ect. SO with all of this being said, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! From the property, to the staff on property, up to the management company who runs this place, they don't care about their tenants they just want your rent. I will most certainly be moving from this property AS SOON as I possibly can.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! The staff is HORRIBLE!!! THE PARKING IS ATROCIOUS!! I went to the office to complain about parking and the staff manager laughed in my face! She said parking here is "like a restaurant, if you don't see any available spaces just keep driving in circles until one becomes available." I live here and I have been towed twice because there has been NO available parking. So when I asked the staff manager what was the procedure for parking when there isn't any available, she had no answer. I also called the corporate office and have yet to receive a response regarding this issue! Basically you are FORCED into paying an extra 35 dollars a month to have covered parking so your vehicle will not be towed out of your own apartment complex. I would highly recommend you turn tail and find another apartment complex, because this is DEFINITELY NOT THE ONE!!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND INCONSIDERATE OF THE LESSEE AND COULDN'T CARE ANY LESS!!!!!

Let me start by stating I have lived in cheaper apartments that have had better quality tenants than what you will find here. On numerous occasions I have witnessed residents throwing furniture off of the third floor & heard/seen domestic violence occur. The office staff seems to never be in office, especially the last 30-45 minutes before closing. The valet trash service is a waste of money, the runners never pick up the trash and the off times that they do, the ONLY garbage bin in the entire facility is overridden with trash and peoples furniture. The valet trash pickup even left NUMEROUS piles of garbage all over the entire complex, in the parking lot on morning. When confronted about the issue, Alex in the front office seemed lackadaisical. She does not take her job or the cleanliness of the apartment complex seriously. The only time you will get an issue resolved is when you request to speak with Bianca. There are tenants that will pick up their animals waste but will leave it by their front door so the fecies will stink up the walk ways. Save yourself the trouble, do not move here. Also, if you arrive home any later than 6pm on a weekday-weeknight you will not find a parking space, and you are only allowed to purchase on. This place is thee absolute worst.
Silver creek has been so good to us since we're new here and moved from Houston! Alex especially has made our living experience awesome. I also love that they have valet trash makes my life so much easier. It's an awesome complex!!
Something just didn't sit well for me when Knightvest took over. I had to re-qualify for my apartment again. I can see what they were trying to do...get rid of the "undesirables" . As time went on...I feel they let trashy people back in. I was out on my balcony late night with a friend only to find a man wondering around my apartment. It was odd since he was looking for building 6...which he was walking around...and couldn't find it. There was a lot of cars there that didn't belong there. It was like shooting fish in a barrel for the tow truck company and their bottom line. No car was safe even with a pass. It didn't stop it though. I have come home late at night with my boyfriend only to see people walking around or hanging out on the steps going up to my place. I had my car broken into while I was in Miami for a weekend. I have heard gun shots several times...and rude neighbors getting into it with exes or whoever. The roach population gained a lot of momentum during my last year too. Little ones and giant ones all over the place. I keep my place clean and whatever my monthly "pest fee" went to was not that. They must have used sugar in their pesticides because they were still around after they sprayed here and there. I had black mold growing on my bathroom vent...cleaned it up and it kept creeping up. I have had some water stains on my ceiling...then discovered some rotted out drywall on the bottom of my closet as I was moving. Did some cheap repair and that was it. Never truly fixed the issue(s). We got Valet Trash since they decided to remove all the dumpsters around the property. I have put out 10 bags of trash and they took it all. I even had a neighbor put out trash she wasn't going to take with her...including boxes and "free" items. I was told to remove all my trash and I set it outside my door. I get a call 5 days later from Alex to ask if I have moved out or not. She said people have been complaining about the trash outside my door. I asked her why hasn't Valet Trash taken it?? Why has it been there for 5 days at this point??? At the end of the day...you can think I am some disgruntled former tenant for all I care....I am not. I was ok with living there until the end. The renovations are just something they painted over or installed some cheap fixture to make it appear that its worth the rent they charge now. I decided I deserved way better living conditions than this place. It is truly the slums of North Dallas with new paint.

We have been living at these apartments for about three years now and have seen dramatic transformations. We moved yesterday to an updated model within the same complex and what a difference! Our old apartment looked as though it hadn’t changed much since the 1980’s, but the updated model is just beautiful. Our current home is by far the nicest apartment I have ever lived at. I love the dark hardwood floors throughout the entire apartment, chrome fixtures, and two-toned paint. My husband and were ready to move from our third-story apartment to a first floor and had considered moving to a different apartment complex up the street when our lease ended, but the staff was so friendly and accommodating that we decided to stay another year. All the staff did a great job helping us find an apartment that worked for us and making us feel appreciated.
Silvercreek is a wonderful place to live, the residents are sweet, the employees are very helpful. This is the first apartment that i have moved to were the maintance guys are on time. if im having anything wrong with my apartment they are there within 45 minutes being the longest, and if they are running late they call you or text you and let you know. The prices are very reasonible. They are strict on curfew and i love that about this apartment, it makes you feel alot safer as a women coming home late. you dont have to worry about people standing outside of the apartments being loud. Big plus for these apartments! If your looking for someone where cheap and a nice environment Silvercreek is the right place to be!

I have been living in these apartments for awhile now, I have never had a problem with them no bugs very quiet about clean. The managers are very nice and sweet. They fix things that need to be fix. So yes I would recommend anybody to these apartments.
I really love this complex. The new management team is really cleaning and improving many features. We've gotten new trash valet, extra parking, and they are cleaning up the trees as well as replacing several features. The apartments are remodeled and I love the extras (granite, faux wood vinyl flooring, etc). There are nice common areas as well. The management team is friendly and helpful. You can be sure any issue you have will be dealt with quickly.
This apartment complex has the most reasonable rent price for all the amenities they offer. A dog park, 3 pools, and all of the renovating that is taking place as well as all the units are updated and very spacious with hard wood floors and black on black appliances. The staff is very nice and anytime I have a problem maintenance always comes and fixes them in a timely manner. Overall the apartments look great and have a very reasonable price.
Overall, I would rate Silver Creek "Good". I've been living here for approximately one year, what's impressive is that they've made several improvements, valet trash pickup, paved walkway near dog park, and some exterior cosmetic improvements. My only complaint is that we've had several issues with the entrance gate not opening, the good news is that I've seen repairmen working on it. It's a very diverse community, everyone is friendly and respectful. Management does a good job with community activities. Hope this helps!
I currently live in a 1 bedroom apartment. I have lived here for almost a year now. The beautiful trees are nice to have around the apartment, there is a lovely dog park and 2 onsite decent sized pools to enjoy. There is covered parking and the apartments are decent sized and they have been renovated. The staff is timely when you have a maintenance issue. There are lost of close by shopping, stores, etc. and is close to Carrollton, Plano and Addison. I would defiantly recommend.
I've been here since March of this year and its been ok so far. Other than the parking, the occasional bugs inside here and there, there's nothing bad about the place. The office personnel are awesome and nice, the option to view and pay your rent online is a plus! The pools are always on point and maintenance is on top of their stuff! Could be a little less in rent but this is also Dallas so I guess they keep up with everyone else.
