Property Ratings at Silver Creek on Main
The furnaces in the 1 bedroom units are electric whereas the other units have a gas furnace. You are responsible for the electricity used for the furnace. I had Excel Energy come out to my unit and make the necessary corrections to my bill as electric furnaces (during the winter months) is discounted. This was never disclosed to us prior to the lease signing - we were told that All the utilities were included in the monthly rent - NOT True. The Property Manager (Amy) had refused the Excel employee access to the property - so I had him remove his badge and had him enter as my guest. When she found this out - she called Excel "Demanding" my account information - she was verbally aggressive and thank goodness that Excel recorded their conversation with her. In January I did not receive a “Certificate Of Rent Paid”. SCOM was claiming tax exemption) I investigated this with the city and county only to discover that no deed had ever been filed. It was still in the city of MG's name. This was addressed by 3 MN government offices including the Attorney General's Office as SCOM “Refused" to correct the “Intentional Inaccuracy” of my CRP. MG requires ALL rental communities to do background checks - SCOM was aware of this requirement and yet did not do so. This is a community that consists of “Senior Bullies” I personally experienced/endured senior bullying myself. The Intentional - Alienating, Ostracism and Isolating of individuals. Gossiping/Rumours have been spread by staff (not all) and residents as well. The Corporate offices uses “intimidation tactics" to silence individuals from expressing their concerns (eviction or termination of their lease agreement). I personally was "Intentionally" skipped over for a garage stahl by the leasing agent numerous times. I Most definitely would "NOT - NOT” advise my Worst of acquaintances to reside here !!! I do not know who is currently the on-site manager at SCOM. However - Corporate did use “Intimidation Tactics" toward Seniors to silence those of us who voiced our concerns with threats of eviction or termination of our lease agreement/s. Very Sad !!!
