I highly recommend this apartment complex. It's shady and the grounds are beautiful. The manager is professional and friendly. Maintenance takes care of the property quickly. Rooms are good sized, and the balconies are nice. It's so peaceful here with no noisy neighbors and no traffic noise. 5 minutes to I5, 12 minutes to Edmonds shopping and ferry. 2 blocks to the grocery store and restaurants. You will love it here!
My wife and I lived here for five years - would still be if it weren't for a new job farther away and us needing more space. Silver Oak as a complex is a great size, big enough to have amenities included (like a small gym and a pool), but small enough to get to know your neighbors. Grounds are well-maintained, maintenance is great, and the on-site manager, Evelyn, is friendly and attentive. Treat her well and she'll go to bat for you with the rental company (Indigo), if necessary. Plenty of room for parking and fairly flexible for guests (just make sure to check with management if your guest is going to be staying for a few days). Close to everything you'll need!
Silver Oak has been my home for about 3 years now and I still love living here! The neighbors are friendly, the grounds are amazingly maintained, any questions, concerns, and requests are handled quickly and professionally by our incredible property manager, Mrs. Evelyn! For as long as I have lived here she has taken care of any and everything we need! If you’re looking for a great quiet, family friendly place to live this is it!!
I have been here for 10 years and it's absolutely amazing. It's a smaller, quiet complex. Fabulous neighbors, landlord and maintenance. Beautiful grounds!
The complex is well maintained. Issues are addressed in a timely manner. The Manager is very pleasant and accommodating.

We had to relocated to Everett otherwise would still be at Silver Oak. We lived here for almost 6 years and always felt it was a safe environment day and night. It was peaceful, pleasant and there was never any real noise noise which was important when you have odd sleeping/work hours. The grounds were kept up and the grounds crew were respectful however busy with their work. We really appreciate the on-site manager Evelyn. She was always professional, attentive and kept an "open door" and pleasant type personality, would always and I mean always stop and focus on what we were presenting, be it a maintenance issue or questions in general. The location was great as "all" your shopping need's, I-5 and 99 are all within a very short 5 minute drive away. (the Alderwood mall and Costco are also near by) If our circumstance ever change, this is where we will pursue living again. Thank you very much from both of us Evelyn for a very pleasant living environment for 5+ years !!! Sincerely the Scott's
I’ve lived at the Silver Oak apartments for a year now and will be here another wonderful year and it has been nothing but amazing. Evelyn, the property manager, is absolutely amazing and does any and everything she can to take care of her residents. I’ve never been worried about my car outside or even leaving my door unlocked as I’ve never felt safer here. The noise level is very minimal here and the other residents are all sweet as well. if you’re looking for a quiet, beautiful place to call your new home, then Silver Oak is it!
My husband and I have lived at Silver Oak for 6 years. The management team has continuously made improvements to the property overtime. The property is well maintained, quite, and has plenty of green space. All of our requests for maintenance were taken care of promptly. The gym, sauna, hot tub, and pool are clean and inviting. Our pets have enjoyed living here as well, the secure dog park is an added bonus. Finding an apartment with an outdoor/indoor cat can be really difficult. We were really lucky to have found such a great place to call home!
I stayed here with a friend not long ago for about a year and a half. Evelyn and Josh do an amazing job taking care of this place. They were always available and responded very quickly to any problems we had, and even went out of their way to help with some things. It was always clean, quiet, and well maintained. If I had to go back to apartment life I would definitely consider moving there again.
Silver Oak Apartments is amazing! We lived here for 7 months and we don’t have even one complaint about it. The apartment was so nice and renovated and everything worked very well. The complex is very quiet and relaxing to live at as well as being close to town. The clubhouse is super nice and has a great pool and sauna! The people we met here were nice and friendly. Especially the property manger, Evelyn! She was the most helpful person and helped us with any questions and made move in/out very convenient and helpful. The utility services were easy to use as well. We highly recommend this complex to live at!
I have lived at Silver Oak almost 3 years and have had nothing but good things to say about this property. Although it is an older building, it has been renovated and done nicely. Stainless steel appliances and nice countertops, large closet and bathroom!! The charm of the older building means you don't have a million neighbors living above or below you, and therefore less noise!! The grounds are well maintained and dog friendly; they even have poop dispenser stations and garbages scattered throughout the complex. Everyone I have come across has been friendly and every dog well behaved. I have had very few issues, and any issues I had were addressed quickly! Josh is great and gets to things in a timely manner. Evelyn, the property manager, is sweet and caring and goes above and beyond for you and a pleasure to interact with if you ever have any issues. She takes the time to know your name, and even your dogs name! She has even met me later in the evening with my packages when I wasn't around for the deliveries!!! I can't say enough how easy and pleasant it has been living here!!!
My wife and I lived here for about 15 months total (moved out only because we bought a house) and our experience was great. We had a couple minor problems come up- garbage disposal stopped working, and one of the outlets stopped working, but both issues were resolved within a day of notifying them. Evelyn is a great manager and very easy to work with. The wood floors, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances really make the apartments a place you can be proud to live in. The workout center, pool, and park-like common area are all great features, and the pet friendly community is an added bonus. We loved our time here and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a great quality community to call home.
We have lived at SOAs for over a year and have repeatedly interacted with Evelyn, property manager, and her staff. We are extremely happy with her responsiveness to EVERY request for maintenance. Her staff is professional, quick, and they maintain our privacy while honoring our at-home schedule. Package delivery is very secure (UPS/USPS deliver to the main office), and Evelyn works with us when we need to have items placed in our apartment. SOAs is located just around the corner to I-5 on-ramps, and the Mountlake Terrace Park-Ride/Bus Terminal is just a quick drive. We love living so close to Cinebarre Theater, Snohomish Pie Shop, and a beautiful QFC plaza that has a large Starbucks that takes us about 3 minutes to drive to. Trader Joe's is a short drive as is the Alderwood Mall. The property itself is somewhat older, however, it is clean, maintained, regularly landscaped, and most importantly QUIET! We've noticed that our neighbors are friendly, polite and keep to themselves. Dog-owners always have their pets on leashes and are respectful of pet clean-up and personal space. Overall we are very satisfied!
