Property Ratings at Silver Ridge Apartments
I lived in a unit of the Silver Ridge Apartments for three years. I absolutely loved my time living there. This was my very first apartment that was completely my own and I am so thankful and appreciative of all Kristin and Doreen do for the residents of Silver Ridge. They were always kind and respectful. If I was ever going to be a couple days late with rent or anything like that, they were always understanding. I also had a good rapport with everyone in my building except one unit. They both handled that situation very well and were understanding. They took care of the situation. Besides that one issue, everyone else in the building was kind and pleasant to talk to. Not only are they managing a property, but this is a customer service heavy job and they are amazing at what they do. The grounds department is also great. They were always accommodating as my cat is an insane person and I needed to be there to supervise him with anyone coming in for repairs. Also I never saw any rodent or bug friends while living here. The only issue I had was on the outside of the apartment with some spiders but that's because we're right next to the woods. Everything is maintained very well and the unit was immaculate when I moved into it. Living on my own has been one of my favorite experiences in life and they made it better than I ever could have imagined. As long as you treat the people working here with the respect they deserve, there’s not much they won’t do to help you. The only reason I am moving out is because I am moving in with my significant other. I could have seen myself staying here for a very long time otherwise. I'm going to miss my little one bedroom so much!
If you want to live in a unit that is old, has no central air, is not sound proofed and is roach invested, then you found the right location. The owners do the bare minimum to up keep the grounds. In other words, the weeds get mowed not the grass. Basically over paying to rent garbage.
The office promised many things when moving in and nothing was completed. Bugs all over, never no parking, loud neighbors and the hardwood floors looks like they haven’t been replaced in years. The office never knows who you are and you have to repeat yourself a million times. The apartments here are cheap for a reason. The maintenance repair staff PHILL does nothing and does not care about the tenants so hope your apartment is in need of no repairs. The paint jobs are terrible and paint is all over the windows. When you move in the apartment is filthy. Grime in the tub, black floors, finger prints on walls bugs walking around. This place is a joke and has the cheapest rent in Toms River for a reason. When I complained they said they will just move me to another apartment. Why wasn’t these things checked before!? Nasty nasty nasty DISGUSTING
I lucked out with this being my first place. Finding an affordable and safe place to live in NJ is a rare find. Management is friendly and resolves issues fairly quickly. Neighbors are mostly quiet. No parties or yelling, just the occasional door slam. Everyone tends to keep to themselves. The Hardwood floors are nice, but part of me would prefer carpet because I live in an upper unit and I try to be quiet as possible, but sometimes things drop. The lease does require you to put a couple rugs down. I feel safe being here even when I’m alone for days at a time. A few suspicious exchanges have happened in the parking lot, but they don’t bother anyone. Parking can be a pain especially if you get home late. You can guarantee any spots near your unit to be taken. If you’re looking for a place to live in the area whether your first or last, Silver Ridge is a great choice.
If you are looking for your first apartment, look no further. The rent is affordable, the units are spacious, and the majority of Utility is included (if in a gas Unit). I moved in a few months ago and haven't been happier. Neighbors are quiet, and Iandlords are pretty lax. Maintaince is pretty good at responding to issues as far as I have had. The only complaint is that parking if you have 2 cars is hard. You will most likely need to park in another lot across the property and walk to your unit as they only give you 1 spot per apartment regardless of how many occupants. People park illegally and make it hard for people that do park legally to get out without nearly hitting their car. They don't seem to really enforce the illegal parking with tickets or towing, which is a bit annoying to me, because there is one car that parks in a spot that is outlined in yellow as NO PARKING and just puts his car right on it with no regard to anyone else. I hope Silver Ridge starts to enforce this more. I know parking sucks and people don't want to walk but if some occupants do it why can't they? Overall, aside from the parking, if you only have 1 car, this is the place for you. If you have 2 cars, parking sucks but still worth the price I Pay for Silver Ridge.
If your looking for a place to come home thats close to the parkway, 20 minutes from the beach, 30 minutes from atlantic city. where your neighbors are polite and friendly, kids are outside playing sports, it feels warming and inviting. best of all animal friendly and worth the time to look into.
No, they don't look fancy from the outside. No, there's no pool or gym or play ground for the kids. BUT- The staff is friendly and always prompt. The price you pay for the space you get is amazing. You really can't go wrong at Silver Ridge. Spacious kitchens, nice bathrooms, Hardwoods, Walk-in Closets, lots of windows and light. The neighbors are friendly. It's a pet friendly environment. There are woods behind you and it's very peaceful. The location is phenomenal. You are close to the hospital, shopping and restaurants. It's easy to get to and from the parkway too! Convenience, Location and Price. This place is a triple threat!
big plus is pet friendly I have two dogs..quite and very well kept .price is affordable some units have washer and dryer hook ups, Laundry Mat on site.management is quick to respond to any problems that arise .I throughly enjoy living here ... And would recommend living here
We pay about 1075 a month for rent. It's normally 1050 but they charge us 25 extra for owning a dog. The apartment has one bedroom and is very roomy. The apartment has gas heat and gas range. Gas is paid for by the landlord so our utilities are very cheap. The section of the complex we are in is very open and inviting. Our neighbors are great and we really like living here. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because the rent is a little expensive.
