Lack of communication with management. They don’t follow their own operating hours for the office. Shut off utilities without notice. Refuse to give packages, never got a key to access the amenities I pay for

My boyfriend and I are traveling nurses so we move every 3-6 months for work, and we’ve never experienced any issues like we have with this complex’s management. We recently moved out and our apartment could not have been cleaner or left in better condition. We did a walk through with one manager and a maintenance man. I replaced the drip pans to brand new ones...I asked the manager if the drip pans I provided were adequate and she assured me that they were. They were both impressed and told us we would get our full deposit back, minus the carpet cleaning fee and our last month of the sewer/water/trash bill. I should have recorded the walk through. Lesson learned. We moved out November 2nd, and now on December 2nd, we have received a notice from the collection company of an outstanding balance. We had not received anything from Silverdale Ridge prior to the collection notice since we moved out. Upon follow up with Silverdale Ridge, they are charging us $50 for the drip pans because we did not provide a receipt. When we did the walk through, neither the manager nor the maintenance man mentioned ANYTHING about providing a receipt. Again, they were brand new drip pans. Silverdale Ridge is unwilling to budge on any of the charges, and was not able to explain to us what else we were being charged for besides our prorated rent (4 days), carpet cleaning, and sewer/water/trash. We should have been getting some of our $400 deposit back, instead of being sent a collections notice. Also, I understand things can be hectic when switching to new management, but this place is seriously disorganized (or at least it was before we left)....they happened to lose 2 of my packages that were delivered there and it took them over a half hour to find my Apple Watch that they had signed for the day before. The old management was doing valet trash service (everyone must pay $25/month and your trash is picked up from your doorstep), but when management switched, the trash service stopped picking up people’s trash, however they continued to charge residents! Just be careful. Sketchy people.

Silverdale Ridge are by far the nicest apartments in Silverdale. It is really a hidden gem out of the complexes here. The exterior of the apartment complex is clean & the grass is always manicured & kept up with. There are walking trails in the complex w/ dog stations that are stocked w/ puppy potty bags. They just recently added a dog park to the community so you can enjoy time with your puppies off leash. This complex is definitely dog friendly! The apartment complex also has a smaller but completely renovated gym & outdoor pool. I live in a 1bd/1bath deluxe (806 sqft) unit & the kitchen space & storage are unreal. The kitchen is huge with a peninsula island & a walk-in pantry which is rare to come by in any apartment. They are completed with upgraded granite countertops, wood cabinets, & a mix of stainless steel & black appliances. The living room is incredibly spacious, the bedroom is a big & has a huge walk in closet w/ great storage, they have huge windows. The bathroom is a nice size w/ matching granite & cabinets to the kitchen & includes a full size washer/dryer (w/ storage shelves above--so much added space/storage!) that is hidden inside a closet. The balcony is a nice size w/ extra storage & is covered which is nice since it rains in often.The entire staff at Silverdale Ridge is so stellar!! As many have pointed out, Deedee was wonderful as an apartment manager, but she has since left, but Michelle has stepped in & has been nothing short of an amazing manager! She is so helpful, sweet, & understanding. Then there is Lyn, the leasing consultant & so much more because she is always helping out Michelle & all the residents in anyway she can, & she is super sweet! Then, finally there is the maintenance man & so much more- Luis, he is extremely helpful with any fixes needed in the apartment in a very timely manner & he is the most professional maintenance I have ever had in an apartment community. He once even helped me bring up packages to my apartment. What is also great is you can request maintenance on the apartment website which is so convenient. Overall, these three are the dream team to say the least! Overall, this community is very quiet. Silverdale Ridge is located in a perfect location, basically 5 minutes away from anything & everything in Silverdale. 10 minutes to Bremerton/ 10 minutes to Poulsbo. Overall, these apartments and the staff are superb! I am sad I have to go when my husbands orders are up here!

Deedee is a person you want to see here at Silverdale Ridge Apartments. She has been nothing but amazing and I can see why her property is rated one of the best ones in Silverdale. My fiance and I are going through a job transfer and everywhere I turn in the Kitsap County area I have not been given what I expect for customer service except here at Silverdale Ridge the manager Deedee has done nothing but go past the limits and has tried to help me out. Things are very tough right now and dealing with her has made it so much easier and has made it a lot less stressful just by sitting and talking alone was great to have I would recommend anyone to come to Silverdale Ridge than anyone else due to the fact that you'll get a fantastic customer service! This place truly does go above and beyond the expectations! Deedee was always talking with me with such a great tone and was always friendly (I would call around 3 times a day to get some questions answered) I promise anyone that moves here you will NOT get anything better then this Community here! Thank you again!

We have been in this complex for almost a year now. Currently expecting our first little one, we were debating on getting a house, but came to the realization quickly that we did NOT want to leave this beautiful community! Not only are the grounds well kept, but the staff is so nice and unbelievably accommodating to all our needs. The maintenance supervisor, Luis, is a wonderful person! He is dedicated to his job, loves what he does and we have never waited for anything to be done! He is quick, efficient and extremely trustworthy. Deedee, the office manager always has a smile on her face, and answers all our questions with no hesitation. I wish we had found this place sooner! I know we plan on staying for a long time !!!!!

Lyn, DeeDee, and Luis are truly the best trio! These apartments are gorgeous, with so much space! Some even have a walk-in pantry!! I mean that is so awesome! The property is nice, and the views from the third floor apartments are amazing! Luis is amazing and quick with any and all maintenance. Lyn and DeeDee run the leasing office like pros, with fresh baked cookies and some super sweet move-in treats. Have a furry friend? They've got you covered! Not only do you get a nice welcome, but your fur buddy will leave with extra love and a little snack for the road. Considering all that you get in these apartments, from the washer/Dryer, Dishwasher, open and spacious kitchen, Walk-in Pantry, Walk-in closet, and so many other closets or storage ares, you are covered! The walls are also really thick and the carpet is actual carpet. It is wonderful living somewhere where you are proud to call your own.

The staff at Silverdale Ridge Apartments has been so accommodating and our experience here has been great! We are a short term lease but we are treated as if we're long term residents. The complex is quiet and clean and feels very safe. Thank you DeeDee for all your help!! Great Great place to live!

I've lived at Silverdale Ridge Apartments for almost four years. Every year, I look at my options and no other property offers the same amenities. The management team is friendly, informative, and respectful to guests and tenants. The square footage of apartments are roomy and spacious. Countertops are granite and fixtures are current and cost efficient. I recommend this place to prospective tenants.

Beautiful apartments at a really great price with an active, friendly and welcoming community. Great location for the commute to Bremerton and Banger base. The property manager DeeDee will go out of her way to help you look for right apartments to hit your needs as well as help you settle in to everyday life. The community is pet friendly too!

We've lived here for two years now and would like to renew again if possible. The complex is always kept up, it's quiet and the apartments have a cozy feeling. My husband has about a ten minute drive to the base and we are in a great location. The property manager DeeDee is always pleasant and seems to care about the residents. Not to mention every time my oldest daughter and I pick up a package from the office she is giving her stickers and suckers she asked me first of course! Definitely would love to stay as long as possible!

I don't usually review just based on a visit to a friends apt, but after my friend took me to the office and introduced me to the manager and I got to see the apartments now I know what everyone is talking about. The 1X1 apartments are super spacious. Even has a large pantry. The property is clean the landscaping is spot on. The office manager DeeDee seemed super happy to see us and welcomed both my friend and I. Offered us refreshments and even went out of her way to check to see if my friend had any service requests or packages to pick up. As an outsider I would rent at Silverdale Ridge if I was in the market right now. The only down side I can see is that parking gets dicey about 8:00pm.

It's so refreshing to find an apartment unit that is different than the others in the area! The staff is phenomenal and always excited to see the residents and say hi to them! Really a great place to be!

We have lived here over a year now and while searching for apartments, this was the one I was least interested in. It was nicer and more expensive. I thought there was no way to afford it. But actually turned out to be the cheapest! We are in a 2bed, 2bath, and we love it. Of course, there is never enough space for my sons toys though...haha. The grounds are great! I take my son on walks around the trails surrounding the buildings. He loves collecting pine cones and saying hi to others walking their dogs. It's very nice and I will be sad when we have to leave!

The process to get an apartment is very easy and straight forward. It is a bit more expensive than the surrounding apartment complexes, but you do see what you're paying for with the finishes, the grounds, the tenants, the employees' professionalism and the peacefulness. Whenever we have had issues with maintenance in the apartment, it is resolved same day if it's early and next day if it's late. I like that the trash is almost never overflowing, however the recycling bins are usually full. We pay for our covered parking so don't have issues with that. But I know other people that sometimes can't find a parking spot close because they don't pay the extra $35 for the covered spot. The apartment is very spacious. Although not large, I like the outdoor patio. The gym is currently getting a makeover, which is a good thing. The older machines were pretty bad. My main complaint is something that can't be changed, but it's something to keep in mind before you rent. The noise level between the apartments is high. This has to do with the materials used to build the complex. I live on the ground floor and I can hear almost everything except low conversations. I work from home, so I know it goes on all day. I can hear what people are saying in the apartment across from mine. I hear almost everything in the apartment above us. It sounds like giants are stomping around, and I know the tenants are not giants. I have just gotten used to it. But just be ready for a reduced level of privacy if you live here.

Beautiful apartments, great view of the mountains, and very friendly staff! Highly recommend!

these are the nicest apartments I've lived in. They have upgraded kitchens with granite counter tops, and the townhomes have attached two car garages. The property is safe, and very well kept.

We LOVE our apartment! DeeDee really took care of us as we got in, we had just moved from California and were in a tough spot and she helped us so much! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, everyone is friendly and respectable, super dog friendly and very accommodating. The apartments are beautiful, spacious and the best we've lived it! Definitely recommend!!

As someone who has a high standard for apartments, these exceed mine! The place is very well maintained and the staff is super helpful and friendly, not to mention the beautiful views! I was in the studio for a year (for a studio, it's huge) and am now upgrading to a one bedroom and DeeDee has made the transition seamless! Highly recommended!

I love the location just outside the rush of Silverdale. Super well maintained grounds and sidewalks. Very friendly staff,Deedee has been amazing!

Love these apartments. My husband and I have been living in them for a little over a year now. Great view, good living space and helpful staff. Oh, and there's a pool!

It's rare to meet someone with such compassion and care! Deedee, the property manager, truly goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and at home. Rent prices out on the market are ridiculous right now, there's no question about that. Deedee will never make you feel stupid by asking questions and really trying to work with you and what you can afford. Every time we have the pelasure with working with Deedee we always feel satisfied with the outcome. Also, Nester the maintenance guy is great, always has a smile and a friendly hello.

I looked for weeks to find an apartment and this was like coming home, large spacious apartment with granite counters and shower walls in the bathroom. The price was right and lower than other apartments around. The management especially Dee Dee has been so wonderful to work with if I needed anything. I'm sad to leave but, whoever gets a place here will love it. Great neighbors and clean, safe property. The only thing is that the rent prices have increased a lot over this last year under the new owners, which makes it hard to stay in such a wonderful place.

WE JUST MOVED INTO OUR 2 BDRM 2 BATH APARTMENT HERE AT SILVERDALE RIDGE APARTMENTS! WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! VERY QUITE AND CLEAN! GREAT AMENITIES. WE HAVE BRAND NEW CARPET AND VINYL THAT LOOKS LIKE HARDWOOD FLOORS! ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE MANAGER. SHE IS ON TOP OF EVERYTHING WE NEEDED DONE. MAINTENANCE IS SO NICE AND DOES A GREAT JOB ON RESPONDING QUICKLY, COULDN'T BE MORE HAPPIER WITH OUR NEW HOME.

We (wife and son) needed a place to stay short term while we wait for our house to be built. Not many apartments will let you rent a place for less than 6 months, but this place did. Fantastic apartments, quiet and well situated. We really love this place. The staff is great as well. Very friendly and accommodating. Anyone that is looking for a place to live, this should be the 1st place on their list.

We just moved in to this complex, and the management is excellent! Dee Dee, Lynn and Nester are very helpful and have made our move-in experience seamless. Everything was ready for us on time, and the apartments and grounds are beautifully maintained.

I have lived here for a year and have been very satisfied with the apartments. The place(what used to be called a 1x1 Deluxe) is very, very spacious and the kitchen and bathroom are super nice. Having lived here during the transition complex owners, I have been very happy with the level of customer service of both companies-they are people like you and me and try to understand concerns brought to their attention and do what they can to assist you. Issues such as the trash area have been solved with the new management and billing has been error free because of the online payment option. While mail/package deliveries are challenging in an apartment setting, I can tell that the staff is making efforts to have more accountability with the processing, requiring signatures of residents picking up packages. Ultimately, I think Silverdale Ridge is a great property in many regards and have enjoyed it! Unfortunately, rent prices have increased hundreds of dollars at this complex and at my last address in Silverdale, so I will not be renting in the area anymore.

my husband and I moved here in August of 2015 and we've loved every minute of it. a lot of fellow military families live here and the office is very welcoming and understanding. the community is very well kept and its pretty quiet. maintenance is quick to fix any problems you may have too which is always a plus. this place is very well worth the price. we have the biggest 1x1 so i can't speak for the other units but i wouldnt be able to get what i have anywhere else for this price. the only downside i can think of is guest parking can be a little annoying sometimes. i wish there were more free spaces but oh well. i would definitely recommend this place!

My fiancé and I have been so happy here since we moved in back in March! The staff is super nice and Maryanne is so wonderful! The apartments are very spacious and all newly remodeled! Granite countertops, tile, new carpet, etc.! We got the two bed two bath apartment and its been great! They are very generous about pets, letting us have two cats and also the rent for the apartment and amenities is very reasonable! The pool, gym and tanning bed at the club house are very nice and always clean! The people that live here are all nice and quiet, almost all noise in the entire complex is done by 830pm as everyone gets up early (mostly military). Definitely check these apartments out!

Absolutely love my apartment. The place is well kept and clean! Not the typical apartment you will find around the area. The amenities are great, and the apartments have the top upgrades. Granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and overall top quality apartments. With all these upgrades, they still maintain a great price, staying around the same if not cheaper than all apartments in the area. If moving to Kitsap area, I definitely recommend!!
