Property Ratings at Six Oaks
Had a very easy and quick move in process. Management/leasing staff was very kind and continued to be readily available to answer questions and communicate with me each step of the way. Great communication from the staff and made Six Oaks feel like home right away!

The location is great and walkable to what?s around the area. Amenities are standard for apartments, and what we were looking for.

Hi there, thank you so much for your positive comments about Six Oaks! Have a great day!
I didn't have to wait for my request to be taken care of, so it felt like the maintenance crew was able to make it a priority - which I really appreciated!

Hi, thank you for your kind review; we are happy to pass along your comments to the team here at Six Oaks!
The elevators, it smells like dog pee all the time..it's awful especially the ones in the back. Also the stairs by the back smells awful as well with all the dog pees. I strongly recommend you guys remove the carpet from the elevators and on the stairs. I had visitors and they comment that they will never live here with that aweful smell.

There were many misleading aspects to the beginning of our move in process when we were trying to select an apartment sight unseen and that was really a problem for us. We ended up with an apartment that is really just "okay" for us because all the apartments presented to us ended up having slight differences from the floor plans presented to us making it very hard to make a good choice for what we were looking for. I think the staff should have an easier referenda material to share with future residents that gives greater and more accurate details about the units they are considering. For example, the first apartment we chose ended up having the entry door in a completely different place from the floor plan we were given which didn't work for us, and even the apartment we ended up choosing in the end after a very bumpy process only has an "L" shaped kitchen instead of the full "U" shape that was shown in the floor plan and the model we were shown.

I really appreciate how attentive the office staff is. My previous landlord would either ignore or take days to respond to my emails, questions, or concerns. Every time I have emailed I have gotten a response within a few hours.

Location is amazing, sitting directly between Burke Gilman trail and mcmenamins. Walking distance to the park and ride for commuters. Leasing staff was super helpful and very easy to work with.

The application process was cumbersome to say the least, the staff seems spread very thin, paperwork and communication confusion. Parking is tricky. I would however because the fellow tenants, the building common spaces and over all flow is fantastic. The building is well organized and decorated. I know many people luve here, but its generally quiet and peaceful. The workout room and though its very small, the dog run and overall support of pets definitely sold me. I am happy here.

It was a beautiful place with a abeautiful neighborhood. But the parking sucked and the construction was terrible. Until those things were taken care of I wouldn't recommend it now.

The biggest upsides to Six Oaks are the location (downtown Bothell) and the proximity to SR-522 and I-405 The biggest downside to Six Oaks is the parking situation. I park across the street at City Hall, which is convenient enough for me, but for those looking for reliable on-site parking, paying an extra $100+ a month is not reasonable.

I would recommend it because it is a very convenient for entertainment, food, shopping, and mass transportation. I would not recommend it because the exterior noise (Pop Keeney Field, daily construction) is a bit too much for my liking.

Great building, nice apartments. Staff is good, but there is no parking. At all. If you don't own a car, and love to walk, then this is the place for you! If you do own a car, look elsewhere. Sadly until the building buys up some property nearby and turns it into resident parking this will always be an issue. It's a shame too. The building is really nice. And dont let the front desk fool you. This isn't the City of Bothell's problem so city hall won't help. This was poor building design, lots of apartments and not enough parking spaces.

When I first moved in the place was incredible. Little did I know, it was going to slowly spiraling down. Horrible and unprofessional management. Mishandles packages a lot. Parking is non-existent. There isn't any available and if so it's $45 for a unreserved spot in which you share with retail. Which means at 5PM when people come home from work, there isn't any spots. $100 for reserved parking and they don't have anymore. Horrible sound-proofing, the courtyards echos all of the noise to the surrounding apartments in the courtyard. Tenants don't pick up after their dogs. Tenants have been caught smoking multiple times.

I moved in to these apartments a year ago when they first opened. The units are great, not a lot of noise, and a fun location in the heart of Bothell. Awesome common areas for grilling, bocce ball, fires, etc. all with free Wi-Fi. The property management company that was there are the beginning was friendly, professional, extremely responsive, and they kept the building clean. The building was recently purchased by another management company...unfortunately it has not been a smooth transition. They are not as polished, not as friendly, not as responsive, and the building seems to be less maintained than before. No answers to emails, nobody in the office during office hours, etc. Parking is also a complete pain - not very many spots in the garage and they cost $100 per month. Street parking continues to get worse as the new McMenniman's opened and construction on the old Safeway will start soon. Speaking of construction, it's happening on almost every side of the building so if you happen to have a schedule that puts you at home during the day it can get extremely noisy. It really is a great building with great neighbors - just a few less positive aspects to keep in mind.

I moved into Six Oaks when it opened a year ago. The apartments are beautiful and have nice touches like frames around bathroom mirrors, quartz countertops and high ceilings, giving the units a modern, clean feel. Parking can be tough and is a bit pricey for the area so if you're not planning to pay for a reserved spot, you may have some frustrations in getting a place to park. The community is extremely dog friendly which is a big plus for me. The building management is also very good and seem to go out of their way to help.
