Rising out of the prairies and cornfields of the heartland, Omaha serves as a cultural wellspring and economic powerhouse for the region. Downtown has seen a lot of development in recent years, and now serves up a huge selection of trendy shopping, dining, and entertainment, particularly around the Old Market; the Blackstone neighborhood has also emerged as a new hotspot for adventurous restauranteurs and hip nightlife. The robust live music scene in Omaha is one of the city’s worst-kept secrets, with national publications singing the praises of popular venues like the Waiting Room and the annual Maha Music Festival at Stinson Park.
Omaha is serious about college sports – the University of Nebraska’s Cornhuskers are hometown heroes, and the city is the longtime home to the College World Series every summer.

Property Ratings at Sixty610 Stone Creek
Constantly calling the cops on neighbors for domestic disputes (you can hear EVERYTHING in these apartments, and I mean everything…) I complain; office tells me “this is apartment life, deal with it”. Found cockroaches in my building THREE times. Each time they tell me there is no way, but I have plenty of photos showing the proof. They sent a pest guy out once after one of the maintenance guys came to “inspect” my apartment so they could make sure it wasn’t coming from us. You pay monthly for a pest service, but never see the pest control come out unless you ask them multiple times. The maintenance man seriously told me to go buy my own sprays and that should take care of them. Why am I paying for a service if you are asking me to do it myself?? The gates almost never work right. The back gate was broken and open the first 3 months we lived here. Doors to enter our building were blown off and broken during the many storms. They left both of them open and did not fix them for a couple of months. Their “solution” was to board up one of the doors with a 2x4, the other door is still falling apart. In our building it’s really inconvenient to use the one door to get into the building. Especially for my handicapped neighbor who has to maneuver their wheelchair around the building since the way with handicap access/parking is on the side of the building with the door boarded shut. Not only is the outside of the building falling apart, but the insides of these apartments are so cheap. You pay for a trash service, but they don’t come collect on Fridays or Saturdays (also random times, other than what you are told). Most of the time people just throw their rotting trash in the hallway and let it fester. Good-luck taking your own trash to the dumpster. It’s usually overfilled and there is trash everywhere. Management has changed 4 times in the 6 months we have lived here. We broke our lease early. I was offered a job in another state and I couldn’t wait to leave this complex. The price of these apartments is crazy for the location. Slum apartments with a “luxury” sign slapped on them. I pay less a month for my townhome in Seattle WA, which is insane. Please do not be fooled. Read the bad reviews and listen to them. Look anywhere else in Omaha for a place to live. These are not it.
The only thing management knows how to do is take your money. The gates are always broken, the pool gets closed every other week, they claim to fine people for not picking up dog poop but they don’t so there’s poop all over. People leave trash outside their front door all weekend (valet trash doesn’t come on weekends) and they don’t do anything about it. management changes every other month so it’s hard to keep up with who your POC even is. Don’t live here :(
In the past 6 months the experience living here has been awful. Safety and security not highly regarded, rude office staff, maintenance issues not addressed. I have been waiting 5 days for a maintenance request to be acknowledged - let alone addressed.
I rented one of the apartments with an individual fenced yard for dog however the fence is not secured at the bottom so dogs can dig under it, also the fence gate has been broken since I moved in and I have to keep my pet on a lead so she doesn’t get out of the fenced yard or dig under the fence. They keep saying they will send someone but when I ask they say they don’t have the maintenance staff to fix. A waste of money for how much they charge to live here. Plus very cheap sinks, faucets, windows blinds, cabinets for the amount you pay.
This place won’t get you parking if needed. If you’re done with work after 5 might as well park down the road. If their damage caused to your apartment that’s not your fault it takes over a month to fix the drywall with no reimbursement. To get a response from the office about anything takes you stopping in at the office. I’ve live in many apartments through many states and this is the worst I’ve been lived in. It looks nice with zero respect to the tenants
Tried to talk to Alan the manager about an issue he was totally not willing to listen and didn't care at all, all he wanted to do was quote the lease agreement as I tried to explain the situation. Several dogs in the area so there is dog poop all over the grounds that nobody picks up. If you aren't on the top floor it sounds like a herd of elephants running across the ceiling. I would never suggest moving there , for the money that is paid it is totally not worth it.
Don’t Move here!! I wish I could give it zero stars. I’ve lived in several apartment communities and this one is the worst by far. they have false claims about their “luxury” offerings, they’ll nickel and dime you for every cut they can get, for instance they make you use valet trash because they don’t provide dumpsters and valet trash comes at odd hours or sometimes not at all, but if you leave your trash out too long they will charge you. they also have some kind of partnership with a towing company to tow their own residents from the property without warning. the apartments are falling apart and not maintained- the appliances are constantly needing fixed- I’ve never had so many maintenance requests. It’s lauded as a gated community but the gates weren’t working for over 6 months, and there were several vehicles broken into during that time. their dog park is a health hazard to the dogs, it had standing water in it that became infested with larvae that made the dogs sick. I could go on and on. Please save yourself the trouble and the exorbitant amount of money on this worthless place
I am a current tenant. I highly recommend signing a lease with Vantage Point at Stone Creek because they have exceeded all of my expectations. I have previously lived at eight different properties. The property is well maintained and always clean. The amenities are always available without issues. I feel safe walking my dog at late/early hours. My neighbors are very friendly and respectful. I am beyond grateful for the friendly staff at this location. I had a minor accident and needed emergency maintenance. Their maintenance staff arrived ready to help in less than thirty minutes and effectively resolved the problem. Their maintenance staff even followed up the next day to make sure I didn’t need anything. I wake up every day happy I chose this property to be my home for the next year.
Beautiful location in west Omaha. These apartments are newer with nice finishes, in unit washer and dryer, a lovely clubhouse and pool, and more. I’ve lived here for about 2 yrs now. Unfortunately, the management here has been consistently bad. The management company changed in 2021 but has not improved. The management here have told bold faces lies to myself and other residents. The pool was closed last summer by Douglas County health department for failing to meet minimal standards of safety. Myself and others have been told many times that staff are “working on” an issue, with no updates or signs of improvement. My row of mailboxes in the mailroom has been “broken” for months so I have to get my mail from the office when they’re open. The community gates remain out of operation. My move in date was delayed because my unit “wasn’t ready”. I never received a Welcome Kit/information after moving in. The refrigerator door would not close on move in day; the unit was dirty on my move in day and I had to reschedule for it to be cleaned and painted. When they sent me my lease paperwork to sign they accidentally sent me a list of all their residents’ names, addresses, phone numbers and rental cost. When they sent me my lease to sign the second time, the unit number/ address was incorrect. I have talked to their corporate office about the management here. Office assistant Krystal is lovely and helpful, the others are rude, dismissive, at best inattentive and at worst bold faced liars. A beautiful community and units, but the management consistently fail to meet basic expectations.
FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO LIVE. We have had major issues with this apartment complex since the day before we moved in. Come to find out they lost all of our paperwork and it took them over a week to admit it. We get all that fixed and in order, then the day before our moving in, we get a call telling us our unit won't be ready. They asked us if we could wait until that following Monday to move in; however, we were closing on our house and had movers scheduled so weren't able to adjust. Since March, there has been three different sets of manager teams. The only constant is Krystal. The current management team (Joseline and Shelby) are usually in their offices on their phones or talking to other staff members. They never seem to want to be there and very rarely great their tenants. They make you feel like you aren't welcomed. One of the amenities that sold us on this apartment complex was that is was a gated community, BUT hasn't worked since June. Second amenity we loved about this place was the pool. They don't have anyone monitoring the chemicals on a daily basis so they were shut down by the city three times this summer. The pool was open about 50% of the time. The secured mailboxes are always broken and now the office stopped taking packages so they get left out in the open. Anyone off the street can come and grab them. People let their dogs poop on the sidewalks and don't pick it up. Management team won't clean it up or have their staff clean it up. It will be out there for weeks. The only time it gets clean is when it shows and the sidewalks get cleared. I have talked to the management team about these issues and documented it in email as well. They just blow you off. Nothing seems to ever get fixed, ooo ya like our washer.
Fire sprinkler pipes “not fitted correctly” by construction company/Vantage owners from Texas and are bursting/flooding multiple floors of units at random on any given day. MULTIPLE buildings/MULTIPLE units flooding within last week/last month, forcing tenants to move. No communication from Management/owners stating facts of what has occurred/keeps occurring/what they are doing to rectify.
