Property Ratings at SKYE 750
This is my review for potential tenants of Skye 750. I strongly advise against even considering renting an apartment here. I’m currently in my second year, which will end in February 2025, and here are some key issues I’ve encountered: Water Problems: There are frequent and severe water issues. At times, hot water is unavailable for months, and on other occasions, the water supply is shut off for days under the pretext of maintenance. Family Concerns: If you have a family, I strongly urge you not to rent here. Maintenance Issues: When you request maintenance, the staff often treats you as if you’re at fault. Poor Management: The management has changed at least three times in the past two years, and the staff is consistently unfriendly. They make empty promises to resolve issues, but nothing ever gets done. Washer Problem: I reported an issue with my washer eight months ago, and no effective solution has been provided. Shockingly, one maintenance worker even suggested replacing all my clothes instead. There are numerous ongoing issues, and unfortunately, the management and staff seem to believe that I’m making false complaints rather than addressing the problems
Good service and staff is very friendly.They are proactive for solving problems which occures in day to day life of community. They have really fun activity rooms too.

Hot water has been an ongoing issue here. They keep fixing the water system due to its quality. They recently did a maintenance and we have no water at all from 10am to 6pm.

It is a quiet apartment. I love living here. However, dog owners should be reminded to ask their dogs to pee in a designated area. The side door next to the dog park always smells bad.

It’s an apartment building. There are some people very nice. Then there’s people who walk their dog and don’t pick the poop up and of course it’s by my balcony so it always smells. Then you have neighbors who are extremely loud and inconsiderate

Overall we’ve had a relatively good experience. We do love the staff and the maintenance staff responds so quickly. It’s also very very clean which as a neat freak I really appreciate. My only complaints are regarding the pool. There have been multiple nights where people will be using it at 11, 12:00 at night and are very loud so it disturbs other residents. The other major issue is the lack of control of how many outside guests residents bring in. It’s a small pool to begin with and it’s very unfair when some residents have been bringing in over five guests (and there have been many times so far) who are taking chairs and space away from paying residents.

Apartment hasn’t been bad or perfect. Some issues on move-in and normal maintenance requests. Otherwise it’s been pretty good living at skye.

There were a lot of issues initially. The gym was not functional and there was no hot water for a month. Lack of transparency in charges and I also had a package get stolen. Apartment is great though.

Skye 750 has been a blessing. It’s the dream apartment! My bathroom is like a luxury hotel, my kitchen is spacious. The apartment is beautiful. The amenities are fantastic. A dog spa and park have made my dogs happier than ever. The fitness center is three rooms and there is never an issue with crowding. This place is great. The staff members are kind and always friendly. I have no complaints. I want to enjoy living here for years to come.

I have really enjoyed living here. Maintenance is incredibly responsive and the office staff are friendly. Every building has its challenges and Skye tries really hard to make improvements and make for a better lifestyle. I would love to see more community events and I miss the old pool furniture but other than that we love living. The only major complaint is the walkability. Skye is set in a quiet area, however there is no walking path that fully surrounds the building.

I have been living here for over a year and love it. It’s in a quiet street that’s close to everything KOP has to offer; the mall, town center, Costco, 422 etc. The staff are helpful and polite. There a number of community events and nearby events posted regularly which is really appreciated:)

The location is fine, it is set back behind valley forge casino and accessible to main thoroughfares. The apartment is nice and have they have quality kitchens. The amenity spaces and lobby are well appointed and the gym is one of the nicer ones in a rental community. Rent is definitely on the high side, especially with the fact that you could be in the town center for same to similar price. They heavily increase your rent at renewal and it is absurd (not the normal $25-50 increase like any other place I’ve lived). Most of the residents are friendly, though we’ve had a fair share of characters. The building has gone through several property mangers, but honestly don’t interact with the office much. The few times I have reached out, they aren’t the most responsive team and it definitely takes a follow up or two for a response. Recent community wide emails have seemed passive aggressive and borderline rude. One of the leasing agents (Sophea) has been there from day one and is always friendly in passing. They have a package locker system, but seems they don’t utilize it as much as they could. Packages are mostly placed in the back room of the leasing office, which is annoying when you are expecting something and get home after office hours. They should put a key fob on the door of “package room A” and simply allow residents to fob in to retrieve a package. I’ve never had any issue with a missing packages, even when it has been left in the lobby. Dog park is nice compared to other communities. Seems like they are doing some upgrades around the property which is nice. It is not the most secure building. Access is by fob or butterfly app, but the management has definitely neglected security protocols. The door next to the main entrance does not lock and can be accessed by anyone. Once inside, you are supposed to fob to gain access (elevator, lobby etc.), but the hallway door is always propped open. The hallway provides access to the entire building. On two occasions, I’ve encountered random people (non-residents) sleeping on the floor of an amenity space. Seems police are at the building weekly. Not only Upper Merion Police, but we had the FBI tactical team with riffles drawn raid an apartment and take tenants into custody. With all the competition in the area they should work on resident retention. I’ve seen a lot of tenant turnover, but I imagine it is due to the jacked up crazy lease renewal increases. Overall an ok place to live and I’d rate it a C+.

Do not move here. The walking stomping noise from the unit above is unbearable. It is a poor construction issue that is not the fault of the current management team. We get no peace in our unit from the constant stomping sounds from above. Also, the LOW WATER PRESSURE is at a trickle. We do not feel clean after showering. These are things that cannot be fixed. It is a nightmare!

Location is tops - in **happening** King of Prussia, but a mile away from the super busy Town Center, with views of lush green trees and close to the Valley Forge National Park! Its really the best of both worlds! Golfers will love the New Driving Range which is being built very near by. Building Style and Features - chic colors, large counters, farmhouse style sink and fixtures, deep bathtubs, tall showers, hardwood floors that are not black, white cabinets in the kitchens, excellent appliances, wifi-enabled thermostats, lighting, and more!! Excellent Management and Staff - everyone is great, professional, reliable, prompt, fair!! They plan monthly events for the residents whether it is a popular food truck, a wine happy hour, a superbowl party or what not!! Amenities are valued, and not a waste of money - The gym is perfect, big enough not too big and has everything I need! There is a dry sauna that is great for warming up. There is a small pool in the courtyard which is good for layout out. There is a dog park with faux grass that I see residents and their dogs use all the time! Also SO VALUABLE - the excellent package delivery system, and the coffee/espresso/latte machine!! I've been very happy in this apartment complex and will be so sad to leave!!

While it has beautiful aesthetic finishes, we have found footfall noises from above to be a serious issue here. It is not likely that current management will fix the problem that shoddy LeCesse construction left waiting for them. I'm sure they'd rather you not know about it, so consider yourself warned if you get a lower floor unit.
