Property Ratings at SkyHouse Austin
The concierge here told me this place was a “fifth year college dorm” and no words are more true. My neighbor has parties literally all night, people running up and down the hall and slamming doors. I called the police last night at 3am because the concierge said they cannot stop parties here. My neighbors have loud thumping bass music that stop me from working, but really that is the least of my problems. When you complain, the leasing office does nothing.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We have carefully considered your concerns, and while we strive to meet our customers' expectations, we believe that your demands are currently not feasible. However, we remain committed to addressing any valid issues and are willing to honor the original offer presented to you.
I "would" and "have" recommended this apartment community to my friends and co-workers as the incredible staff make living here extremely easy.
I'd still consider recommending Skyhouse, but the pet problem is so acute right now that without at least limiting pets to specific floors, I would not recommend it to anyone who does not have or want pets.
There are many disruptions if you are working from home at Skyhouse. The community of neighbors are also incredibly disrespectful and no action has been take to resolve repeated issues. That being said, the location is great if you are looking to live down town.
I have said it before and will say it again- absolutely the best place I have ever loved. I love it here. I am so thankful.
I would definitely recommend, fantastic staff - always professional and super nice, great amenities and location!
Fit the bill and satisfied my appetite for an upscale living experience. I'll remember my time at SkyHouse fondly.
Awesome location, amenities, cleanliness, events, and staff responsiveness. Issues (caused by residents or weather 100% of the time) are quickly resolved and addressed. Love living at Skyhouse!
Very fast service, this property is fantastic. Keep up the great work! The quality shows!
Based on maintenance alone. Yes this is a great community with knowledgeable staff.
The only reasons I would not recommend: elevators are often broken and appliances are a dated compared to the newer apartments in the area.
the office staff has been very helpful and fix things promptly
I would recommend this apartment community. The only thing that is frustrating is amenity use. I have had several weeks in a row where I go to the pool and cannot find any space. We are paying for these amenities so I feel like they should be fairly used.
Elevators take forever on the weekends, some of the people who work at the front desk can be very off putting
I have made so many friends as a result of living here. No other apartment community I have lived in has ever done that. The building is well maintained, all staff is friendly and competent.
Honestly, it really is a great value apartment. Feeling like I could expect reliability from the staff made a massive difference. The modern design is really pleasant, but there were also subtleties like how well my apartment was insulated from sounds that made a huge difference.
I love Skyhouse. The staff and residents are so friendly, it feels like home, and Rainey Street is so homey yet feels important. I feel part of the community here. I'm SEEN. People walk by me and make eye contact, address my person. Plus, there's 80s music. Like, come on.
The staff is great here and I'm a fan of the building!
For someone moving to the city I would recommend but for someone looking for a better quality of life I would not recommend
yes
This place is great. I hope a bunch of my friends move in here after their leases end.
For now, its a great value for the location, ammenities, and floor plans.
Don't count on management to address your problems, or even acknowledge them. If you move to Skyhouse, you should expect to be completely ignored (except of course when rent is due). I have the world's worst upstairs neighbor. That's not why I'm writing this review, since A) that's just something that comes with apartment living, and B) the leasing office of course has no way of knowing if a potential tenant will be disruptive. The real reason for this review is Skyhouse's response to the situation. I spend many sleepless nights calling the concierge to request they ask the upstairs neighbor to stop stomping around between 10pm and 6am. The concierge will come into my apartment to listen, and laugh out loud when they hear the absurdly loud thuds. I follow up with reports to the leasing office. After 9 months and dozens of calls, nothing has changed. I emailed the manager about this last week, then followed up asking for a response, and I've heard nothing. If you think you'll ever need support from your building's staff, you should look elsewhere.

Thank you for taking our call yesterday to share your feedback, Eric. Our team works hard to provide residents with the best support possible and we apologize that this wasn’t your experience. If you would like to discuss this further, please call us (512) 394-4993.
Excellent staff (in all areas - from maintenance to management), great opportunities to make real friendships with others, a community feeling, beautiful shared amenities (pool, common room, sky deck, gym).
I feel like the apartment goes above and beyond for its residents. The only complaint I hear is the elevators. However, if the biggest complaint is simply waiting for an elevator - to me that is the definition of a first world problem.
The price is pretty good if you like the amenities, but the guest parking situation, while fine for downtown is still pretty rough.
only reason I wouldn't would be if they didn't want to be associated with Rainey street, but the apt. itself is great.
I love my little slice of the sky! Robert and his team are attentive, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They work hard on setting the bar high and keeping it there.
I've yet to have any significant complaints about SkyHouse or its staff
Literally love everything about my experience with SkyHouse so far. From concierge to custodian, I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff. The facilities and amenities are always very clean and organized. I recently had family in for a visit and they were shocked at how well everything was maintained in such a populated complex. I could literally write pages on how pleased I am with everything and I can’t see us moving anytime soon!

Thank you for a fantastic 5-star rating and review! We are thrilled to know you enjoy living here as well as all the wonderful services and events we offer our residents. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us!
I really like skyhouse, but this particular request not being an option is a bummer.
I would recommend to younger friends but not to friends my age or older.
I would since there are clean and only because concierges are very helpful.
This is one of the best places I've lived at, and if I come back to Austin, definitely staying here again! Chris, Chance, Paul and Dave are amazing!!!
Move in was super easy and efficient. Staff is amazing. Very clean and other residents are friendly and respectful.
I would recommend it because its convenient and great place to live - my only problem is that we signed the lease expecting to move in on Sept 24 -but then we were told that they accidentally gave us the wrong date. We were told we could move in Sept 30 which meant I had to move my furniture 2 times from my old apartment, into storage, out of storage and into my new apartment.
Apartment staff made this an overall great place to live. The concierge made me feel safe, the maintenance staff were very attentive and the leasing staff were very accessible and helpful. Thank you!
It's too loud to live here anymore. It was fun when I was going out a lot, but now when I come home, I want to go home to a relaxing and quiet environment, not when where I can hear bands outside every night and where everyone is drunk on the weekends.
The dryer worked initially then shut off again, I thought he was coming back to fix the blinds, but never came back. So I did not get two of the things completed and waited for an hour for him to come back which he did not.
I've had nothing but good experiences at the Skyhouse since I moved in last year.
The building, amenities and location are all great. Plus, the community living at SkyHouse is wonderful, tight-knit, supportive, helpful, and fun.
Staff is so helpful and friendly! Helped me figure out my storage situation / issues and continued to be of support post-move in! Everything could not have been easier and it was so genuinely personal. 10/10 would recommend!
Everything was great-the apartment was exactly what I had been looking for and the community met all of my lifestyle needs.
All of my friends love the location (except for the guest parking $$) but I would recommend Skyhouse Austin because of the awesome leasing staff, great amenities, and close community vibe.
The residents got younger and younger over the 3 years we lived at Skyhouse. By the end it felt like a fraternity.
Absolutely worst place to live. Do not waste your money, go to Milennium. 1. Raise rent significantly but once you search online can find similar units 10-15% cheaper. Raise rent to kick out residents and drive commissions. 2. Do not return deposit. BEWARE. Notice how on all reviews robert comments the same generic message. Yup, no answer because they won't lie and know all comments are factual. 55 days post move out, refuse to return $600 in security deposits. 3. Which leads me to contacting management. Practically impossible. They don't care. Go to Millennium, the windsor, or another property that delivers value and doesn't rip off their residents. Could not recommend skyhouse to anyone. Absolutely horrible property, save your money, stress and health and move somewhere real

We are sorry to learn that you didn’t receive the customer service quality you expected. I’d like to clarify your concerns and offer additional information. Please call or email. I welcome hearing from you. – Robert, Community Manager
The apartment community areas are great and you can't beat the location
Professional service in a timely manner
Rainey Street is obnoxious. The Skyhouse Apartments were lovely for the most part.
The only real downside to the building that I would mention to someone considering living at Skyhouse is the guest parking situation and the slow elevators. That said, I have already recommended Skyhouse to a number of my friends, as all the pros certainly outweigh the few cons.
