I scheduled an appointment to view a unit with an agent. They were late and I decided to do a self guided tour. I was told after I paid for an application fee that all documents must be direct pdf downloads which I unfortunately could not accommodate. Any responses were copied and paste. Plus there was little to no attempt to help me, in which I finally pulled my application. While the property is nice and the everyday staff was great, I would not trust a complex where I can't trust the management office.

Great place to live the staff are great all round
The experience and service are fantastic. The apartment meets my expectations and I love having Lisa and Shondra in the front and Ben at valet. Up until recently, i have not had a good experience with maintenance, but they did a good job on their most recent work order. The staff has been very kind and helpful, which certainly adds to the experience. They especially have done a great job with communication/performance during things like the recent murder across the sheet. I wish they would do more resident events outside of work hours and I think the gym could use some upgrades. I also still do not understand if i should be tipping to use valet, which is why i have never used it. But, mostly i am very happy and hope to stay provided the rate stays the same. My neighboor told me they are offering 18 month leases again, which would be great.
Thr Parking lot situation is still going on, cars oarked everywhere, noticed old stickers and non new ones, UNSAFE, no security, things are arill getting robbed." You can paint over the rust...but the oxide is still there".
If you desire to be in this River Oaks neighborhood you are getting more for your money than the other surrounding communities.
I've been here for five years and it' been a great experience thank you for the great service
if your thinking of leasing pleare don't. Run as fast as you can. place looks nice but management is horrible. Elevator don't work your guaranteed to get stuck multiple times. If you like getting your car towed from your ow building and have extra $250 per day to get it out by all mean sign a lease. If you like getting your credit card stole from valet by all means sign a lease. If you expect service from from front office good luck. I have had issue with the matters listed and emailed front office manager with no response. But they will reach out to frequently when it's time to renew your lease. I should of ran when I had several tenants complain in the front office about the elevator when I was signing a lease. They only care about making money off you hence you have to pay a few when you make your payment. Since I have been starting September 2020, my friend that lived on my floor had his truck stole because the parking lot gate is always broke and anyone can happen. Another one of my friends had is motorcycle stolen. Each time I presented this to management and they do absolutely nothing. only positive is the lady's front desk not the office. If you haven't already guessed I am leaving once my lease is up. Learn from my mistakes you can get better value from what you spend here. I have also filed my complaint to BBB since front office doesn't respond back.

There' so much potential and I really loved the unit, but just about everything else was just not upto par for the price.
The hospitality of the concierge is commendable and the Office staff are very professional and warm. The maintenance culture is remarkable and prmises is kept clean and well maintained.
I was sold on the smiles and professionalism. I am a very happy resident
The SkyHouse River Oaks is an outstanding place to call home. The management is the best we have experienced. The maintenance staff is fast, friendly and knowledgeable. The concierge is a level that puts this property in the 5 star area. The building is kept amazingly clean and the environmental staff are friendly as well as thorough. This is one of the premier places to live in Houston and the staff as well as design and location are why this property is a great place to live.
It' very convenient to me because I work 4 minutes away, I don't like that there' no easy access to the parking garage from the apartment.
I love living here! I have a great unit and essentially zero complaints. I do think there are some areas for improvement especially as we get closer to summer with the pool access and allowing residents to bring guests (why not just limit the overall capacity?), but I really do enjoy everything from the staff, to the cleanliness, to the location, and the convenience- I feel very welcome

Out of all the properties we have seen, not only does Hanover Montrose has the best amenities and high-quality feeling, the leasing staff is fantastic.
The building is super clean and the residents are nice. Office staff is great. Front desk is amazing. Valet is super friendly. So far, it has been a really good living experience.
The site was well kept and the staff was extremely proffesional and kind.
I would recommend this property to someone because of it's great style, location, and professionaly kept grounds.
Value safety and convenience as well as a maintained property.

I would but I would tell them, don't expect a lot of bells and whistles. But the apartment is fabulous. It's hard because my high rise experience was a lot different from this one. It felt more like family and I knew they were always there for no matter what I needed. Ex: I got home late one night and I decided to walk my dog down uptown park by myself. I was taking my time and I look up and I see one of the valet guys. He said, we were worried and came to look for you. ??. I use to have a joke, who needs a husband when you got post oak employees. They took care of us and we definitely took care of them.
The whole skyhouse team is easy to work with and friendly .
The property is good specially for couples and may not for families since there is no play area for children

I love the complex, my biggest issue is with the elevators not working and with the valet missing when I get home and having to wait 5 plus minutes for someone to come and park my car.

The office, front desk and maintenance personnel is probably the best out of all the complexes I have lived at. There were some concerns regarding neighbors behavior.
It depends on the type of person I?m recommending it. If they ask whats a great high rise apartment complex then I?d definitely tell them this place.
The availability of amenities and the people that are allowed to come in and out in large groups that disrupt and leave the amenities / lounge dirty.
Too dirty, not enough cleaning is being done in the hallways, mezzanine storage level is full of maintenance materials in the walkways, old fridges, boxes etc. Elevators constantly out of order, window cleaning still not resolved after 3 months, still dirtly. Hardwood floors in the apartments very poor quality
I would recommend this place because it's a fantastic community. The apartment is setup to feel like a home and not a sky rises building. The staff is fantastic everything you need are could want is available to you.
As the community gets younger it?s less likely to be a place that my friends would want to be. Especially if the smoking rules are always ignored.
My wife lives in an apartment building where things routinely go weeks without getting fixed. It was easy to schedule this and I was happy to see that the issue was resolved the next day.
This was a small fix, it would not make an impact on my decision to recommend Skyhouse
I will recommend everyone I know to get a place in SkyHouse River Oaks, let me live there for a few months before I promote it and help you LEASE out the rest of the UNITS
One time I was having some problems with the refrigerator so I had to make an appointment with the technician, surprisingly they came right after I submitted the online request and fixed the problem immediately. Beside of this everything else is awesome as well especially the concierges, they are super nice and friendly. I would highly recommend this apartment.
Parking for guests very inconvenient. Asking guests to park on 7th floor is not good, sometimes they are not parking that long.
The valet situation was not as promised when I first moved in. Visitors were not able to utilize it and when I used the service, the personnel were oftentimes rude, seldom looked at the advanced text messages I sent to have my car ready and always left the rugs in my car dirty. Given this, I was essentially paying for something I did not use for at least the last 4 months of my stay. The front desk staff - Roland, Msoo and Lisa (when she was at the River Oaks location) were INCREDIBLE and made my stay very pleasant.
Too many large dogs... should be a weight limit. Twice a residents dog showed aggression towards me at the elevator.
It is horrible that I have to go all the way down at 5am in the morning to get the key to open the gym. This is a huge negative
Operation didn't appear very well organized. I moved on to my next apartment search appointment.

Very nice and clean. Quiet and great staff.
Very nice place to live. Property is quiet and tenants are friendly. Controlled access at all doors, elevators etc. so there has been no rift-raft creeping around. 24 hour concierge and valet service. Very safe place to live, within walking distance to River Oaks District. Prices are very low right now due to promotional offers. Hopefully they don't skyrocket after my lease ends or I'll be moving to one of the two dozen other brand new luxury properties in Houston.

I just moved in this month. So far, so good. This property is very clean and quiet. Materials and appliances are on par with what you'd expect from a modern luxury high-rise, in a premium part of town. The view is excellent from my unit, with its floor to ceiling windows. Common area and (2) swimming pools are on the 25th floor, offering an even better view. The gym has good equipment, which I don't really use because of a gym membership elsewhere. This property stays clean and well maintained. There is a 24-hour concierge service; all the concierges are very professional and nice. Leasing staff is also very tentative and friendly. The parking garage is not connected to the building. It is 7 stories high and fills up ~halfway during peak hours due to this property only being about 2/3 occupied at the moment. There is 24/7 valet parking for tenants. All the neighbors I've met have been very nice. I hope things stay the way they are!
