Biltmore Park is one of Asheville’s trendiest neighborhoods. Nestled along the French Broad River next to Lake Julian and surrounded by verdant forests, Biltmore Park blends modern amenities with the beauty of the outdoors. With views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, residents can spend their time tubing, boating, fishing, or hiking. People also love Biltmore Park for its proximity to the Blue Ridge Parkway, leading to some of the country's best national parks. The neighborhood is anchored by Biltmore Park Town Square. Resembling a modern village, this commercial and cultural hub is filled with locally owned shops, restaurants, bars, and more. During the summer you’ll find locals gathering at Biltmore Park Town Square for concerts, farmers markets, and other special events. Rentals in this wooded locale are mid-range to upscale and are available in a variety of styles including houses and apartments.

Property Ratings at Skyland Exchange
They have mold issues they covering up and continuing to cover up. My family is extremely sick. They are horrible and treat you like it's not an issue. Claimed it was debris, but mold spray.
Ongoing issues with insufficient parking, no trash service on weekends and dumpster fails routinely. Pool was closed most of the summer after failing inspection.
Lack of communication, kitchen appliances poorly installed, bad plumbing that caused a severe flooding to multiple apartments, mold, 2 months pool is out of service, yearly rental increases $200 & more, & defective fire alarm systems.
Beautiful property! Austin was extremely helpful and answered all my questions in a timely manor! He was very polite and very knowledgeable about the location! I would recommend Austin for any questions you may have in the future!
Nice place, great location The management is TERRIBLE, they don’t care at all about their loyal tenants, just about generating more revenue any way they can. Parking bad, guest parking a stressful nightmare and they continue to justify it. Too bad…I wouldn’t recommend it Bad experience
The management is ridiculous. They spiked the rent 25% to renew and then tried to charge you for extra days for not filling out their form for notice to vacate. An email or verbal response isn’t good enough. Watch out for the ways to get you for extra money.
This complex used to be a nice place to live. I have lived here since it first opened and planned to be a longtime resident. Now I can’t wait until my lease is up. The office has had too many staff members come through and the latest members have been the worst. They are rude and money hungry. I never had an issue with the office staff prior to who is in charge now. Everything has changed since they stepped in. Save your money and find another complex to call home.
Don't believe the bad reviews could be true. Just take a drive through the complex after 9pm. Parking is like winning the lottery. There are less parking spaces than units available. Yes your guests must register their cars every time they visit(oh and there is a limit of visits per month). Check out the parking spots, you will see where they have restriped the parking lot to try to add spaces. Check out just how close the cars are parked together, and just how tight they can be. The only thing they added are more dings in the side of your door. Don't think you will get any real answers from management. There is no transparency with things happening in the community. You can sign but you wont be happy. Don't be fooled by the reviews praising the community and management. Learn it the hard way if you must.
I was not informed when I moved in that I would be required to register my guest’s license plate every single time they came to visit. I also was not told that I would have a maximum of 120 hours to use per month. If you have a significant other or close friends, good luck seeing them often. They also decided to paint all the curbs red to deter people from parking near them, which is a huge eyesore. There is no recycling for some reason, which is atrocious. I was also quoted a much lower rent than what I am paying. When I went to sign my lease, the leasing agent said my price was higher because I was on the BOTTOM floor and my building was closest to the mailbox. How does that equate to higher rent? Also, if you’re on the bottom floor, enjoy having headlights shined into your living room all evening and never being able to use your patio.
You only get 120 hours a month for parking. Then the manager Linda ask why you need more then says you can't have someone stay more than 7 days. The math doesn't add up 120 hours equal 5 days and doesn't specify for more than one person. So if you have a social life don't move here!! You can't park!! They told me my boyfriend needed to get on the lease to come over even if he doesn't stay the night more than 5 days. do I live in a church?????
I have lived in these apartment complex for two years now. When I first moved here it was great. I was one of the first attendance to live here. As they continue to build the problems begin. No parking available. Poor plumbing. Ridiculous rules on the trash service that you pay for. They also have switched staff in the main office several times with each time getting worse. The individuals in the office themselves are nice. But the company that owns the apartments Must understand that this is a horrible way to run an apartment complex. The list of issues and problems go on and on. The most frustrating part right now is that you have to register your guests vehicle to park every single time you have a visitor. If you don’t your visitors car is towed. You have an allotted amount of hours to have visitors. If you forget to go online and register your visitors license plate and car information when your visitor goes to leave they were fine they no longer have a car located where they left it. They have to go clear across town pay $250 to get that car back. This is the most ridiculous and frustrating thing to have to take care of every single time you have a guest. This is their answer to not having enough parking for the amount of apartments that they built. I have to go now to go pay $250 to get my friends car. Who, by the way, is here to help me move out.
Not that noise isn’t possible but it’s very minimal for me. The leasing office is great! Super sweet people<3 the grounds itself are typically really clean, if not you see maintenance doing the absolute best they can. I’m happy I chose Skyland as my home personally although it seems it may not be everyone’s cup of tea. Also to add, there are no breed restrictions which is absolutely perfect.
Awful management staff, specifically the Property Manager. There is constant noise throughout the complex, several residents have dogs that are breed violations and bark constantly, and marijuana is smoked throughout the property. Terrible parking situation. Plenty of other options in the south Asheville area with more capable management.
I have lived in this complex since February of 2019. I was one of the first residents to move in. The apartments I believe were rushed to be built. They did not have an idea of the parking situation that would entail. Now residents are finally able to park closer to their building, but guest parking is limited to a certain amount of hours per month. Additionally, I have found that I have mold in my apartment in every single room, closet, and storage area. The complex has decided to wipe the walls, and put a dehumidifier in rather than finding the reason. Furthermore, there was what looked to be a leak from the upstairs apartment which caused discoloration to the ceiling and their idea was to just paint over it rather than assessing the damage. I am highly disappointed with this complex and plan to let others know to not make the same mistake.
