Downtown Phoenix is home to some of Arizona's most important cultural institutions, entertainment centers and professional sports teams, so residents never need to go far to find fun. The dining scene is top notch, featuring an eclectic mix of over 100 restaurants to satisfy any appetite. Performance venues of every size host symphony orchestras, rock bands, comedy shows, and theater productions regularly. A variety of museums and the University of Arizona campus boost the area’s intellectual capital, and residents enjoy quick access to pro baseball and basketball games just down the street.
As a major commercial center, the neighborhood’s high rises house dozens of corporate offices, making it an ideal spot for urban professionals who want the ability to walk to work. The extensive sidewalk system makes it easy to walk anywhere, and green spaces like the lush Margaret T. Hance Park provide gorgeous oases in the desert sun.

Property Ratings at Skyline Lofts
I have been living in this residence for almost 1 year and have given my notice to vacate. During my stay, the elevators are always not working, the parking garage gate never works, and the building is in disrepair and dirty. I was attempting to leave with the least amount of issues, following the lease, and Staff from the reception area knocks on my door and says he's there to inspect the apartment. There was zero notice provided. I identified he could not, so they just charged me 35 dollars. How petty. I am so glad I'm leaving this place and you should really consider not moving here.

I loved living at Skyline Lofts! The staff was friendly and helpful, the maintenance was efficient and effective, and I felt safe living there. Skyline Lofts is in an excellent location and has great apartment units and amenities. Highly recommend!

Thank you so much for your five-star review! We are so happy to have you as a part of our community.
Property is cool looking in pictures and has great staff but is lacking in many areas. Appliances are old. Counters and cabinets are poorly made. Due to surrounding construction it gets very loud in the morning around 5am. All community amenities are closed although almost every surrounding communities are not. Unfortunately this complex leaves a lot to be desired

I don't write a lot of negative reviews. My husband and I are both incredibly understanding people. But Skyline Lofts has to have the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I've ever experienced. After a reoccurring issue with our toilet not flushing for FOUR CONSECUTIVE MONTHS and overages in water bills, the office is doing little to nothing to apologize or solve the problem. I went in on a Friday in February to explain that our toilet was broken and was told to wait until Monday to get it fixed. Which means I took the elevator SIX FLIGHTS to use our gym bathroom all weekend. This was in February. It's May and our toilet is still broken. I'm upset that it's still broken, but I'm even more upset that Skyline has shown zero sympathy for our situation and demonstrated that they could care less about people who live here. The first time they gave us a $25 Amazon gift card and then when my husband met with them they offered a few hundred dollars like that's enough for all of the trouble we've been through. Whether we're a one-off experience or not, they're overpriced, the building is actually pretty old (we've had blinds break multiple times in the short time we've been here and the carpet was withering away before we moved in), and they've proven that they will breach your contract when it comes to reasonable accommodations and not lose sleep over it. It's no wonder why there are so many empty apartments in the building. It's interesting that we know people who have cheaper/discounted rent than what we pay because Skyline has been so desperate to fill rooms, but apparently not desperate enough to keep their current tenants happy. We're potentially taking legal action and we're definitely telling every incoming law school student to stay away from this place. NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE!

Thank you for taking the time to post a review regarding Skyline Lofts. I am very sorry you had to experience multiple repairs and reach out to the office multiple times to get a permanent solution. We are disappointed that your service was not handled more quickly. I believe there was some miscommunication in the actual issue and the team was not aware you had a non-functioning toilet, the belief was that it was simply running, not that you had no use. We are very regretful you went through that. I'm happy that Customer Service was able to speak to your husband and offer something for the inconvenience. We will use this experience as an opportunity to work towards improvement so this does not happen again.
Staff that fake a smile and screw you over when "life happens." Downtown Phoenix has so many other options, make this a last resort.
I love this place. I have been here for over a year now. The customer service from all staff members has been beyond excellent. Work orders are always done same day if not next! I have not had any of the issues people have posted on here. I don't know If its luck but I have had a amazing experience here. Robert has gone above and beyond and it is very much appreciated! Not to mention if you ever need to go in to the office he is nice eye candy :) I strongly recommend this place. Beautiful views, very up to date and modern appliances and all around beautiful property, centrally located, and lots of shops and restraunts around. This is my experience I welcome you to come and experience it for yourself!
I became acquainted with Skyline Lofts when my employer relocated me to Phoenix and put me up in a corporate apartment at Skyline Lofts. When it was time to find a permanent place to live I looked at several apartment complexes, but none compared to Skyline, so I decided to rent here. First of all, the complex is expertly maintained and cleaned. The pool area is very inviting, the grills are cleaned every single day, and the pool is clean. The hallways, elevators, fitness room, and garage are equally well-maintained. Honestly, it is like living in a 5-star resort. My 2 bed/2 bath apartment is huge - larger than some houses I've owned. Light bulb and smoke alarm battery changes are done the day they are requested and installation of ceiling fans was done before I expected them to be. Thanks to a recent maintenance event (which I will get to in a moment) I learned the concrete walls keep the place very cool in summer. The real test of an apartment is when something goes wrong. One Friday night, on a 107-degree day, my air conditioning stopped working. I completed a maintenance request and hoped it would be fixed by Monday. The problem was fixed Saturday afternoon! When I thanked the office for the speedy response they said: "this is Arizona - it is one hundred how many degrees? Of course, we got to it right away!" That being said, thanks to the concrete walls, even without AC the temperature stayed at 79 degrees despite the outside temperature being 105. THAT's great insulation in addition to great service. The icing on the cake is the staff. Everyone, from the leasing office staff to the porter to the maintenance guys are friendly, personable, and great at what they do. They clearly enjoy what they do and they do it well. If you are looking for a clean, safe, friendly place to live look no further. Skyline Lofts is that place.

Hello Valued Resident, thank you for taking the time to post online regarding your residency with us. We value hearing your feedback and knowing that you are having a positive experience at the Skyline Lofts community - welcome home! Best, Weidner Customer Service
Units are very nice but the grounds and pool should be maintained better. Security a problem.
We sold our home and moved to Skyline Lofts. Absolutely the most amazing apartment complex! Very friendly front office staff, quick walk to restaurants, baseball and basketball games, concerts and much more. Beautiful pool, more than gorgeous apartment- open ceilings, smooth cement walls, clean walkways / parking garage . Great common area which one can host a party or just relax. We feel safe at skyline 24 hours a day! Can't imagine that we will ever move again! Thank you Skyline!

Sounds like you have had a great move in experience and we thank you for choosing to call Skyline lofts your home!!!! Be well, Kristie - Customer Service
If you've wanted to live in downtown Phoenix, Skyline Lofts is certainly worth checking out. It is a short walk from most of downtown Phoenix, a quick drive to central Phoenix and has freeway access to get you wherever you need to go. Having lived in the building for six years, I've seen a good amount of what it has to offer. The units are very urban in their design; exposed pipes, mainly concrete walls, yet a good sense of refinement in the kitchen and bathroom spaces. There are units facing every direction, as well as inward towards the pool/hot tub area, where there are several grills, seating areas and a fire pit. The staff are very good, maintenance staff in particular, who are very polite and quick to respond to even small things. As for the day-to-day things, there really isn't a lot to complain about; the exposed hallways can be a bit of a challenge as you won't walk right into air conditioning upon arriving home, and on the few rainy days in Phoenix, the water will come into the hallways and you'll be dodging puddles, but thankfully those days are few and far between. One of the biggest things of note is the garbage service; you're charged a $25 per month fee for Valet Waste service; you put your garbage and recycle outside your door in the evenings and a worker comes around to take it to the trash chutes and recycling bins. While this seems like a nice idea, and was designed to keep the concrete halls from getting "garbage juice" stains (or so I'm told), people often don't adhere to the protocols and leave garbage bags out in the hallways at the wrong times and often not in the black trash cans, meaning you are forced to walk by bags of trash on a regular basis. This has been a perpetual problem and I don't think anyone has come up with an ideal solution to police it. Noise is generally not an issue, except for the occasional pool gathering where noise gets magnified by the enclosed space and abundance of glass and concrete, which reflects the sound pretty easily and makes casual conversations louder than they actually are. But again, it's generally not a big deal. Noise from units also seems to be fairly minor thanks to the concrete walls, meaning it takes a lot to hear what your neighbor is up to. The gym is adequate for most people, and there are at least two more close by. Same for the clubhouse area. It's currently undergoing some improvements in the garage, and I think the future looks good for Skyline.
Really great apartments. Definitely a comfortable living compared to others. There is a pool with a hot tub. Pool seems to be slightly temperature regulated. There's a pretty nice little area to workout here since they have a gym downstairs for the residents. They also have three built-in grills to cook outside by the pool if you feel like grilling and they have a sink and many amenities inside as well right next to the pool if you want to cook down stairs. They have a pool table and come couches to watch tv in the same room and a computer room. They also have a movie rental program in the leasing office on the first floor and they change the movies every month or 2 weeks... And it's totally free for guests. It's really awesome all the little things they have available for us. I also like that they have cement walls. And since the whole building is that way i never really seem to have trouble keeping the inside at a decent temperature (and that say a lot for Phoenix because it's really hot right now as usual during summer here with 115 degrees daily temperatures). I can literally turn my air off for hours and it doesn't get above 78 degrees in my apartment. Our light bill is not bad at all because of that. Really nice layout too outside with the palm trees and grass and chairs all around the pool area. They also give you a thob to put on your car keychain and you have to use it to unlock the doors downstairs to access the elevators so the security is pretty nice. You use the little thob to open the gates to park inside. There are several parking spaces on every floor and there are 8 levels so parking lot on each level is never really full. You pretty much have a many options for parking. It's nice that the car is inside protected from the sun and also by a gate from others. Overall, I have to say that I'm really pleased with this place.
I have lived here for a littler under a year and will not be renewing my lease. All entrances smell of dog urine and the finishing's are cheap to say the least. When the issue of renewing came about they tried to raise my rent only to find out someone with the exact same unit was paying 300 dollars less than I was. The only good thing I can say about this place is Courtney is amazing. There have been some incredibly awesome leasing agents at this place but sadly the only thing that would make me want to stay is the convenience of not moving! I would look at 44 Monroe or CitySkape if you are looking for a quality apartment with real Amenities!!!
