Love my apartment, has all new applliances. We have 2 pools and a dog park. My neighbors are all great and the maintenance guys are all very nice and helpful.
The walls are toilet paper thin you can hear your neighbors cough. The building design means each apartment only has 2 windows so no natural light. You must keep lights on to be able to see even during the day. Parking lots with no lights so coming home at night is an act of bravery. Complex is just ugly, hoarders everywhere. Staff is pretty useless, only one person even vaguely knows what they are doing. Office is closed at short notice with no explanations. Only the maintenance staff is decent. Can’t wait for my lease to end so I can leave.
I can't understand why there are so many negative reviews on the property. I have lived here since 2016 and the assistance of the Staff has really been always receptive and timely. It is true that crime has risen a bit but it has not been exclusively in Skyline, it has been in all of Thornton. I personally have the best of experiences to this day, and if I can say that the work team will always do everything possible to resolve your issue.

Office lies. There is always trash everywhere. Maintenance department is seriously lacking. Biggest though, they hate people with evening shifts.

Please save yourself the headache. Lived in building 5 roaches everywhere!! The pictures they advertise the units with are Incredibly photoshopped with amazing lighting because they FOR SURE do not look anything like the picture!!! Managment of course will say they will do everything they can, that they love their residents and all big talk but at the end of the day the problem was not taken care of.

I don’t know what part of the apartment complex the people writing these negative reviews live. My experience here has been pretty good. There are definitely some flaws but what apartment doesn’t? I see the maintenance guys driving around all day doing stuff. I’ve never seen any mattresses on grass or anywhere besides outside of or in the dumpster. The place seems to have the average amount of garbage you’d see at any apartment. People are gross and it is not management’s fault. Honestly, I like living here. Management just always seems busy but this place is huge. I can’t say I blame them. The apartment I got looked EXACTLY like the one in the pictures online. I wasn’t disappointed at all.

The entire property is trashed and nobody cares enough to do anything about it. Trash, cigarette butts, broken bottles, and mattresses line the property. Management is a joke.

We have recently added an open-top roll-off dumpster to accommodate larger items being left outside the dumpsters. Bulk items are then picked up daily by our team and placed in the roll-off, creating extra work for a limited staff. We are very short-staffed and it is making it difficult for us to deliver the customer service that we'd like and you deserve. We are, however, very happy to report that we have a new property manager starting after the 1st of the year. She brings with her a strong background in the industry and we are anticipating many improvements in the coming weeks. We humbly ask for more patience as we do our best to onboard and train our new team members. We don't offer this as an excuse, simply as an explanation.
Zero Parking enforcement. Residents are not allowed to call the towing company and the security patrol does not enforce parking. You can pretty much do whatever you want here including parking in the fire lanes. If you report the problem to management multiple times they will laugh in your face. Stop by and check out the mattresses laying on the grass, people riding atvs through the property, and the constant fear of being assaulted or having something stolen. Your better off in a shelter.

Love how close this complex is to everything! From Walmart to many restaurants you don't have to go far. New Management company has really done alot to make this an even better community as well! I love my little 504 sqft apartment, its nice and cozy and open.

My apartment is so cute! It's all new with hard floors and pretty kitchen. The maintenance came right away when I got something stuck in my garbage disposal. The office was very helpful and everybody in there is super nice. 2 pools too!

I moved here from western North Carolina and have realized that I was lied to from the very beginning. My unit does not have a fireplace, washer/dryer hookup, a working thermostat, screens on my windows, a deadbolt with more than one screw, SOLID WALLS. The maintenance "team" here is a joke, large portions of my walls are literally paper that has been plastered and painted. Ryan told me over the phone that my unit would have all that I've previously mentioned and only after signing the lease was I allowed to actually see the apartment. This is a terrible area and I'm constantly running homeless people off of my porch.

The title of this review may seem extreme but it is not. The complex management does not keep up with maintenance and it takes weeks/months for them to actually complete a maintenance request. In Sept 2020 we smelled gas in our apartment. It took multiple phone calls to the office for maintenance to finally come look at it. Then they had to turn off our gas (on a week it was going to be below freezing) and told us it would be a bit before our furnace could be replaced. When the furnace guys finally came to replace it, they were in shock at the state of our furnace. I explained what had happened and they said, your furnace has already been catching on fire and then scooped up some soot to show me. In Oct 2020 another apartment building burned down from a gas leak. In Nov 2020 another apartment reported a gas leak. Beyond that, their office staff is completely incompetent. It took multiple attempts for them to get our lease correct, they charged us additional fees for “missing” renters insurance for months on end even though we had submitted it multiple times, and there is zero communication in that office. My roommate’s car was stolen in Nov 2020 and Jaxx (the most incompetent of them all) had zero empathy for their situation and said we’d have to pay a fee for the missing parking tag if it wasn’t turned in. We tried to turn in our keys a few weeks before our move out date but Jaxx wouldn’t let us. She said we couldn’t turn our keys in because, “what if our apartment was broken into? Then the complex would be liable for that” Should we expect our apartment to be broken into?? Since we couldn’t turn in our keys that day we went back on Nov 30 to turn them in. We went back to our apartment one last time to check everything over but the complex had already changed the locks!!! We couldn’t even check it over if we wanted to. Additionally, they will show you one room on the tour but what you get will look nothing like that. Our apartment was filthy when we moved in and we had appliances from the 70s or 80s. If I could, I would rate this complex even less than 1 star. I am reporting this complex for landlord negligence.

If you're looking for something with a reasonable price and you're okay with a little old school property in its upcoming this place is not bad. The staff is always helpful and maintenance is pretty good on timing and taking care of things. I just moved here from NY a couple months back and I am enjoying it very much wanted to give my input since its not getting the credit it deserves

Moved in last year and I can't say enough about the new management team. They have cleaned up the parking lot, resealed it, fixed the sidewalks, put a all new dog training course in the dog park. They are really making this place feel like home!

We moved our daughter and 4 yo grandson from Omaha NE only to find they had no apartment!!! WHO does this? You have one job. I’m convinced the did is a favor, despite the hardship it’s created. I don’t know how these people sleep at night. I’m calling Corporate office tomorrow. You can’t do this to people and get away with it. SHAME ON YOU. Despicable!

Possibly one of the worst managed facilities I have ever resided. Apartment was disgusting upon move in with many things broken. They do not care about tenant safety, security, or comfort. There have been numerous drug deals that have occurred and yet they seem not to care. There have been break ins and they simply say oh well, and do not even notify local PD. Even when I took time out of my day to notify the PD they informed me it’s an ongoing issue at this facility and unless management elects to file they can do nothing. Upon move in to my unit it was filthy and beat down from previous tenants. As the repair people came they asked why things were not addressed before my move in. The manager is incompetent in my opinion and very stubborn on helping mitigate situations. I urge anyone looking to lease here to reconsider as I wish we had.

When i toured the community I noticed they were a little old but the pricing and how well maintained they are, is GREAT! I decided to lease and the application process, the move in was super easy and quick. Thank you to the leasing team for such an easy move in, I am going on a couple months into my lease now and I am very happy!

Lived here for one year. First of all giving everyone a warning if you decide to live here take pictures of literally all the damages and condition of the apartment. They will “lose” your move in checklist and when you move out have one that is blank and shows no damages upon move in. I’ve posted some of the conditions of the walls, dirty, dented, and cracking upon move in but I am still getting charged for apparent “new” wall damages which the next tenant will get charged for as well. Next topic: false advertising. We were told that there were two heated pools, one of which is open year round. Only one of the pools was open and they closed it shortly after school started. They were sure to keep it filled tho so they could continue their false advertising for prospective tenants. The second pool never opened. They finally filled it up the week of the Fourth of July and then let the water sit and turn green and get filled with garbage before ultimately draining the thousands of gallons of water at the end of the month. Talk about a waste of water. Third: if you don’t have children... DONT LIVE HERE. There are children running around the place unsupervised at all hours of the night. Riding their bikes in the parking lots, chasing balls across the road. I honestly don’t know how I managed not to run a kid over while I lived there. I witnessed on multiple occasions kids kicking soccer balls in the parking lots, landing on top of cars. Also Kids shooting stuff with pellet gun fights. I told management about this and they did nothing. They just told me to call the police... which I did. Another complaint is the water was ALWAYS getting turned off for “maintenance” . We put in a maintenance request for running toilet and it didn’t get fixed for over a month. Decks are falling apart, had to wear shoes on our porch due to getting large splinters They boot your car even if you live there, there’s never any parking spots Suspect individuals walking around. We heard gun shots outside our window one night and watched police spend an hour searching the parking lot for bullets. Theft and car break ins reported on the regular, there was always a police presence at the complex. If this hasn’t convinced you not to live here then I think you would fit right in. Welcome home! So glad to be done with this place, even if it means paying for unwarranted damages.

Lived here for about a year, my neighbors kept leaving their trash out on the shared porch. Didn’t like the fact that they are scandalous and charge for every little thing. Make sure you pay attention to the lease, because they “require” a 60 days notice for move out, which doesn’t make any sense. I didn’t get any deposit back and they even charged me extra on top of that. The maintenance people would come out to fix something a week or two later. I suggest you look elsewhere if your looking for a good place to live, because this is not a good place to live.

0 Stars! Someone has entered my apartment with a key on 3 separate occasions and stolen over $2000 worth of cash and items. I have never lost my key. I have called the police on all three occasions and they have responded. They believe it is more than likely that it is someone that works for Skyline that is entering my apartment. The response from the management is that there is no way someone from the complex could possibly be responsible. I can guarantee you that I am not stealing from my self. The management will not allow me to install my own locks to ensure the safety of myself and my daughter just in case it is someone from the complex that is entering. This place is dilapidated, dangerous, and the management doesn't care about the tenants or their safety.

In love with my apartment. I have lived here for 10 months and will definitely renew my lease when the time comes. Office keeps up with the surroundings very well and the office staff is amazing. Management always helps to the best of their abilities. So glad I leased here.

I have lived in the Thornton area for a while now. And I wish I would have found this place way sooner. I have everything near me. From groceries to good old fun. The living space is amazing and the office staff does not hesitate to make you feel right at home. They are very helpful when it comes to any issue including maintenance. The office assistant lizet is very nice and you can just tell when a person does everything in their power to make you feel comfortable.All in all I would sooo recommend this place to anyone looking for a new home.

I have been living at skyline for the past year and am very happy here. My unit is exactly what I expected. Im close to one of Denver's main freeways. I live within walking distance to the grocery stores. And the office staff is always helpful when I have any type of concern or request. The leasing manager Lizette is exceptionally nice and I can tell she goes above and beyond to make residents feel at home. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a new home.

I've been living here for almost two years and just love this place! The ladies are always nice to talk too very friendly as well! The maintenance team always does a great job as well. Would recommend living here!

I have lived here for about 2 years now and I am very happy living here. I love that we now have a dog park and we have brand new washers and dryers in the laundry facilities! Absolutley love it!

I got a 1 bedroom that's pretty big and has been renovated for a really good price. The staff is very friendly and my neighbors have been pretty cool so far. No complaints.

Whether I'm having an issue with maintenance or with my account, the staff here is so friendly and on top of it! Jeff is amazing help and is very knowledagble with all my fix-it needs. Joni goes above and beyond, she's been nothing but kind and when my dishwasher crapped out, she made sure I got a new one! The rest of their office staff is amazing as well- full of friendly faces!

this place is dirty as can be you go anywhere around here you smell weed, dog poop all over the place the staff is very unprofessional I can't imagine living here

Not worth the money at all, I am finally free of my lease tomorrow and couldn't be happier to leave a place. The office personnel have bad communication with each other and the maintenance staff. Over one year there has been many power and water issues, the laundry dryers and card machine are bad, people break into cars and the ac is clogged. The security patrol is only out to tow and boot cars, can't have company over without the risk of their car getting booted. Don't even waste your time. P.S. rent was incresed over 300 to renew my lease.
This complex located less than 10 miles north of downtown Denver is a sweet little complex in an area that is attempting to change it's spots. The apartments are well maintained, the staff is friendly and any maintenance requests have been promptly attended to. The only complaint about this facility is it's proximity to a less than desirable complex across the street where there is a fair amount of crime. There are other buildings in this complex that are tucked far enough away that some people may never notice; however, my front door faces the sketchier community.
The skyline apartments are very nice there are two pools laundry facility on site and also a workout room the nieghbors are great and I have enjoyed living here so far.
This was our first choice for my husband and I after we graduated college and decided to move out here. Raymond Scott was the office person we talked to, and he helped us sign our lease and do everything else, as this was our first apartment. Super friendly! We don't really see/talk to our neighbors very often, but that's alright. A lot of children in the complex. Landscaping could use some work... grass is pretty patchy. We have the unrenovated apartment, but it's just fine. All the appliances work fine, and it's the perfect size for us and our dog. The maitenance staff is very friendly, and timely in their responses. Also, this complex is within a 10 minute drive of anything. It's awesome! Walgreens across the street, Jim's Burger Haven next door, Post Office, and Walmart one block over. Overall, it's just an overall good deal. Almost no complaints here!
The grass in the complex looks excellent. The interiors of the apartments look great. There are accent walls, and a lot of the units have a fireplace. The apartment complex as a whole is about average. There are some rowdy youngsters mucking about, and some loud neighbors around the complex, but it's not that bad. The location is great if your business is in Thornton. Getting in to Denver can be hard due to traffic, but getting to Boulder is pretty easy most of the time. The gym is below average, but there is a below average Bally's close by that's still better than the gym at Skyline. The pools are busy during the summer. It's a good chance to meet people. If you are interested in an apartment at Skyline get a unit with a w/d. The laundry on site is run by a Mac-Gray reloadable card. The machine you use to load it with money is in the office. The office closes at 6 pm, so you need to load it before then if your card is low. It costs $1.25 for the washer and dryer each. When you load it you can only use $5's, $10's, or $20's. Be careful loading too much at once because it's pretty easy to lose the card and there is no way to get that money back. Mac-Gray gets it no matter what. It's a bit of a scam, but as with everything else there is a laundry mat near by.
