The hustle and bustle of some neighborhoods may remind you of a three-ring circus. Bailey’s Crossroads, however, is quite chill and distinguishable from others with its laid-back attitude and circus background, ironically.
The land at the “crossroads” of Route 7 and Route 244 was once the winter home of Hachaliah Bailey, a pioneer of circus showmen. Many restaurants, shopping centers, and green spaces can be found in the community today.
Crossroads Center is a popular mall at that, encompassed by trendy stores and eateries like La Madeline French Bakery. Around the corner from Bailey’s Crossroads apartments, stores such as Trader Joe’s and pet supply shops flourish. Lillian Care Park offers locals substantial walking trails and sports facilities on the southwest side of town.
In addition to a quiet community, residents appreciate the close access to Interstate 395, Ronald Regan International Airport, and Downtown Arlington.

Property Ratings at Skyline Towers
Most of the time 1 or 2 elevator working out of 4 elevator. Usually ~10 min wait times for going up and down. Couple times I walked up to 17 floor to be in my apartment. Elevator in parking area is not working for 6 months. I reported 3 time. There are so many crazy person in this building someone was trying to hit me and hit my car with bottles of water from high floors and it is dangerous like a gun if it is coming from so high up. Nothing happened to that person. So many residents driving wrongside in parking area. There was mouse problem in basement almost for a year. They fixed it. It was smelling like dead deer. So many trash everywhere. Lady in leasing office so rude. I was trying to open the door with my key and I thought it stucked so i tried couple times and she yelled at me, there was no sign about it is not working. Staff can yell at you so be ready. If you find a job out of state you can not move out unless you pay so much to move out.

Review: Skyline Towers Apartments My experience living in Skyline Towers Apartments has been a mixed bag, leaning more towards disappointment due to several persisting issues overshadowing the property's appealing features. On a positive note, the apartments boast spacious balconies, breathtaking views, and generously sized floor plans that initially create an impression of luxurious living. Additionally, recent renovations in the lobby, rooftop gym, and the addition of a new party room seem promising at first glance, offering an opportunity for residents to enjoy upgraded amenities. However, the negatives far outweigh these positives, especially concerning the functionality of the elevators. The distressing reality is that out of the five elevators designated for the building, only one is currently operational. To exacerbate matters, two elevators have been condemned by the fire department, leaving residents to rely on a single functioning elevator. This situation causes immense inconvenience, extended wait times, and discomfort, particularly for individuals living on higher floors. Moreover, despite the commendable efforts put into renovating the party room and gym, certain aspects of the experience render them less appealing. The exorbitant price of $200 per hour to rent the party room is a steep charge, especially considering the uncertainty surrounding the reliability of the freight elevator required to access the top floor. This unpredictability casts doubt on the feasibility of utilizing the party room, raising concerns about the value for money. In summary, while the Skyline Towers Apartments offer attractive features like spacious balconies, stunning views, and large floor plans, the persistently malfunctioning elevators severely undermine the residents' daily lives. Additionally, the uncertainty surrounding the reliability of amenities like the party room due to elevator issues adds to the overall dissatisfaction. As a resident, I hope that the management prioritizes resolving these critical issues promptly to ensure a more comfortable and reliable living experience for all tenants. Overall Rating: 2 out of 5 stars
Do not lease here. 1 working elevator out of 5 for 26 floors and 600+ apartments. Mice and roaches and bedbugs. No indication of actually fixing these issues in the 11 months I've lived here. Don't be fooled by the nice lobby, kind leasing agents or big Floorplan. Run.
Did treat people badly. And the place is a disaster.
Beware of the misleading photographs and supposedly renovated apartments displayed on their website. My experience of living here has been an absolute nightmare, and I genuinely believe that it is not worth it. I just moved out and that brings me immense relief, although the refund process has been equally disappointing. Firstly, the elevators in this building are a constant source of frustration. It is not an exaggeration to say that you can easily wait anywhere between 10 to 20 minutes just to catch one. This perpetual inconvenience has become a headache for all the residents. Another issue that plagues this place is the infestation of pests. While I have been fortunate enough to own a cat, those who don't have feline companions suffer greatly from the presence of cockroaches and mice that seem to be everywhere. It is an unsettling and unsanitary living environment for many residents, and it reflects poorly on the management's ability to address this problem effectively. Furthermore, the "1 month free" promotion they tout is nothing more than a deceptive marketing tactic. At the end of your lease, they will do everything in their power to ensure that they recoup that money through other means, leaving you feeling cheated and misled. In fact, the refund process itself has been frustrating. I received deductions from my security deposit for questionable charges, including an excessive cleaning fee (when I actually hire someone to clean everything) and a trash violation fee that I was told it was an error and would be removed. This has left me deeply unhappy with my overall experience. In conclusion, I strongly advise against choosing this apartment as your place of residence. The nice pictures and promises of renovations are a facade, concealing the multitude of issues that plague this building. From dysfunctional elevators to a perpetually closed pool, rampant pest problems, and false promotional offers, it is clear that the management's priority lies in deceiving potential tenants rather than providing a comfortable and enjoyable living experience. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for a more trustworthy and habitable living space.
I am current resident. If you want to change your life to hell go and live there. There is nothing good to talk about. Very rude management the only thing they care is money.
I like the space I definitely like the room and at the same time I definitely love the service that it will go ahead and kept on point and in tip top shape. Even though the information has been sent out perfectly to let everybody know what's going on as well so I'm thankful.
I’ve been here less then a year and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I can’t wait until my lease runs out so I can bolt out of here as fast as possible. The elevators are terrible, wait times of 20-35 minutes depending on the time of day. Air conditioner doesn’t turn on until May 15th so the apartment is at 80 degrees. Property is dirty and guest parking is impossible on the weekends.
Poor management, elevators have been broken down since two years haven’t been fixed yet, water shut off one day per week, the mice and roaches everywhere, no one cares once you sign the lease.
Nice size apartments with good closet, space good lounge and fitness centers 24 hour desk people easy to access the fallschurch Tysons area.
I’m not even going to have anything that’s different from what had been said. Every low rating you read here is true and almost every high rating is most likely a new tenant who hasn’t experienced headaches yet.
The building is extremely dirty, it smells and there is trash everywhere. They make the lobby look really nice but once you start living here and see the parking garage you can tell it is not maintained. Water shutoffs and elevators being down all the time. The pool has been closed all season due to people throwing glass. Some of the gym equipment doesn't work either. There's also kids running around at all hours of the day with no adult supervision.
I have been here for 8 Monthes, each tower is 26 stories and around 800 people living in each tower there is only one elevator you have to wait in the long line every afternoon for almost 35 minutes and you are not able to use stairs if you are in the very top floors. No services No maintenance, Utility bill is $300 a month while they says during contract it will be upto $150 but in fact it is double. If you want to tourcher yourself Eent apt in Skyline Towers.
I have been living here for 7 months. It has been a mess since day 1. The Staff are very unprofessional and the managment is even worst. The miscommunication from management, to the construction that was suppose end last june, the parking is terrible. Non resident parking in the parking garage which makes it difficult for residents to park. The building is not well maintained and its very dirty (nothing is luxury here). I could go on and on. Last, straw for me is being with no Heat for two days. No staff, No management or maintenance to assist. I spoke with the conierge he said they informed him to tell redsidents to come and pick up a space heater but its only two space heaters for 900 redsidents with no heat. I have three small kids, this is beyond fustrating and unacceptable. I cant not wait to end my lease here!
This is 3rd time we having this problem water leaking from the walls. In last month was so uncomportable they are fixing their problems another issues come out next day. Come and come again everyday it's so hard for us living like this place in a pandemic time!!!
Have lived here for a few months and this is the worst experience I have EVER had. I am the type of tenant that keeps to myself, pays rent on time, doesn’t play loud music, etc and so when I got fined for something I did not do I reached out to apartment staff about it. At Skyline the fines are excessive and your emails will fall on deaf ears. If you don’t pay your rent on time theres a fee. No matter who you email no one will respond to it, not even the building owners, CIM Group. 2/4 of the elevators in the north tower have been broken since Aug and work will not start until January ‘22 -they had the audacity to tell people to just leave earlier—it’s a 26 floor building. READ the CONSTRUCTION ADDENDUM they will make you sign. It basically says you can’t complain about construction and that they do not have to provide or hold to a specific time line for fixing things. The elevator in the parking garage is also broken. Their idea of maintaining the ceiling tiles is to pray paint the water stains white. There is constantly trash inside the elevators, on the parking garage floor and around the exterior. If you have your windows open you will be woken up late at night by neighbors screaming at each other or people who drive up and down the surrounding streets revving their engines at all hours. The app that is supposed to make using the W/D easier is a pain because cell towers can BARELY penetrate the walls so even if your phone is literally on top of the touch pad it’ll say it cannot connect. My microwave tray does not spin, dishwasher puts out dirtier dishes than what went in. Sink is clogged even though I don’t put food down in it and appears that there’s a garbage disposal but all I hear is a weird sound. In the beginning, I kept finding mouse poop on my personal belongings and still occasionally do see it and little roaches. Maintenance has entered my apartment without notice and not for any legitimate reason, breaking the landlord and tenant policies and they left trash behind on my balcony. Long story short—save yourself the aggravation of a place that clearly does not care at all about the residents. There are places that are cheaper that take better care of their residents.
26 floors and the elevators are ALWAYS broken...I've been waiting for 20 minutes today so far. The water is CONSTANTLY being shut off at least twice a week. You never know if you're gonna be able to take a shower before work. The place is disgusting. Trash every where...and the management just doesn't care. Not to mention the ROACHES and MICE. You can find somewhere better. DONT SIGN THAT LEASE!
Something breaks every other day, the water shuts down at least once or even two times a week. Inside the building it always stinks and the trash in the corridors don’t surprise anymore, no wonder that mice aren’t going anywhere. And they call it luxury apartment complex, what a joke.
Everything that could be good in this building is simply killed by absolutely unprofessional and unfriendly management. If you do not want to be humiliated every time you need to solve any problem that arose due to the fault of the same managers, find another building
I have been here for 2 months and have been dealing with a roach problem and low and behold while standing in my kitchen a mouse just ran in and under my washer. Freaked me out. In addition to the pest problems I havent been able to access any amenities that I currently pay for, I pay an additional $50 a month for what should be secure garage parking and since I have been here the garage is anything but secure. The entry doors are always stuck open and exit door have frequently been out of service and won't open. The other day I had to take the stair because the elevators have been down and in the stairwell was a pile of poop. The water issue is a headache, you hear everything from you neigbors and their unruly children that run the halls all night. There is constantly a sewer smell and no matter how many candles you have it doesn't help. The only good thing about this place is the space but that definitely doesn't outweigh the bad. When I came to see the place I was shown renovated apartments and everything seemed really nice. It's been totally different since moving in. I really had hoped for better.
Mice, roaches, broken elevators. If you move here, that is what you WILL get, 100% guaranteed. Every floor of this building is infested with mice. Every morning when you walk outside one of the buildings, you will see where people have thrown dead mice stuck to glue traps off of their balconies. The building is also roach infested. When they call exterminators, the guys come, lay about 6-8 glue traps, hand you another 3 or 4 glue traps to put down on your own, then leave. Last week the elevator literally caught on fire and all of the elevators were shut down for hours. If you live on the top floor, you had to walk up 26 flights of steps with bags, groceries, or whatever you were carrying. There is never a time when at least 1-2 elevators aren't broken, so it takes about 10 minutes of waiting to catch one. Do NOT be fooled on the tour, if you see something that's broken, they will tell you its about to be fixed and it's an outright lie. If this review has not convinced you to stay away at all costs, just visit the property and ask ANYONE you see what they think of this place and I can assure you they will tell you to stay away from this place at all costs. Finally, there is NO free visitor parking. If you have a guest, they will have to pay to park. This place even tows UBER drivers while they deliver food, so they have started refusing to bring the food to your door. You will regret moving here, don't let the pictures fool you.
I moved here mid February and its been problem after problem. the management staff are so rude and dont care about anything. My apartment is falling apart and they are trying to charge me a fee for breaking my contract. I have been sleeping in my car for past two weeks because they are bugs in my apartment, pipes are leaking and my sealing is coming down on my head. These people dont care about anything just to get your money.
Dont waste your money and your health. Nasty building and unprofessional staff and management. Mouses everywhere in building and units. Utilities very expensive $150 extra and plus. Management will treat you badly, so dont try to talk to them. You’ll never get your security deposit even you live the unit clean and without any damages. They will damage something and they’ll charge you for it.
I've lived at Skyline Towers for sixth months and so far have enjoyed living here, despite some of the poor reviews I've read. The floor plan is VERY spacious and the maintenance staff is EXCELLENT! Management has been pretty good, but has sometimes been disappointing, it just depends on the person. I've had a little trouble with the fitness center, there are no instructions on how to use the equipment. The little market is convenient, but a bit too expensive for me, so I walk across the street to Giant. All in all a good place to call home.
I have lived here for about 4 years, and I find the apartment welcoming, with great customer service. I fully recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to live and call home.
Good day maintenance team First I would thanks all skyline maintenance team for doing a great job, I special thanks from the maintenance members twins Dawit, I saw them today they fixed my balcony door, they were professional and only focus on the job, again great job maintenance team! Thanks again
Beautiful place to live at and apartments but management is bad. I would’ve loved to stay but I m leaving when my lease is up. I know a lot of people who live here are moving out too and the main reason is the management. In my floor and on my did of the building 4 families are moving out. And there still a lot more on other floors.
The Management and the entire staff at Skyline Towers are top tier. If you want to be in an apartment that provides a family like atmosphere and great service, Skyline is the place to live.
Moved here from NYC for a more calmer environment. Really like Skyline Towers and CIM staff are very professional, helpful and attentive to needs. We love all of the amenities that the building offers including spacious rooms, beautiful night time views from our balcony, and the close proximity to grocery stores and restaurants too. Short trek to DC when we want to venture out, also a plus.
The mice/roach issues at skyline are ridiculous. I have never in my life been in a situation where I had to sleep knowing that mice and roaches were running around my CLEAN kitchen! I've been having the worst time here and can't wait until this lease is up!! Just....don't move here.
I lived here May 2017-Feb 2018 with a roommate in a 2 bed, 2 bath apartment in the south tower. If you like roaches and mice, you enjoy getting to know the towing company employees 20 minutes away, and prefer front desk staff who glare at you when you ask a simple question about the facilities, this place is for you! Spring and summer feature numerous roaches both in the apartments and in the common areas. I found a mouse in my apartment. The grounds are covered in trash constantly. The towing company is aggressive in towing, and even towed my roommate's boyfriend's car when he had purchased a $5 overnight pass. I could write a thousand things wrong with this place (and kind of did on other review sites that don't limit your character count in reviews) so I'll keep this short and simple by telling you to please have some respect for yourself and your family by living ANYWHERE except this garbage facility.
First of all, all the good reviews are manipulated by the staff members. The place is dirty, full of cockroaches and rats. The price of the apartment is not compatible with the quality that they offer, you can most certainly find a different place with better facilities and cheaper price. Once you move out, they will make your experience as pricy as possible. And you will most likely not get your security deposit back regardless of how neat you left your apartment since they make the final inspection.
The management is the worst. I have never seen management like this ( the worst),. Management has no contact and are extremely unorganized , No one ever answers the phone in the rental office . Before you move in, they say a lot about the amenities of the community, but once you moved in, they change 360 degrees. The community itself is very dirty and even if you report to their management, they do not care about it. The Leasing Office Manager and the front desk people are very unprofessional. They make you wait for hours if you have a problem to report. The maintenance service is awful; a maintenance request cannot be handled in weeks.. They did not handle pest control issues correctly the entire time that I was there. It took months for them to handle the roach issue. I left early because of it, and I still feel that I should be owed money for staying there. They lose you House keys and don’t do anything about it. I wish I had read the reviews before moving here. I don’t know how this place is still running. This Complex should be shut down, or bought out by another management. You have roaches in the hallways crawling freely. I strongly advise that you don't even THINK about staying here.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really can't say anything good. I nearly made a bad mistake by moving to Skyline Towers. I should have known that things would go downhill when they duplicate charged my credit card for the application fee and when I requested a refund instead of refunding my credit card they tell me they refunded to my portal account. How can I have a portal account when I haven't yet signed the lease? So I started digging and saw all the horrible reviews online regarding roaches and mice and the horrible parking situation. I was lucky enough to speak with a former property manager from there who confirmed all of my fears stating that the roach and mouse infestation has always been there and they will never get better because they are unable to enforce any sort of cleanliness guidelines in the community. When I tried to address the concerns regarding parking and said I would pay additional for a reserved spot (which they advertise for on their website) I was told they no longer do that. I'm a 62 year old woman and I have no intention of living somewhere where my parking is not guaranteed. Emails went either ignored or unanswered phone messages were ignored or unanswered. I may be out $400 but I guess it's better than living in a nightmare that I can't get out of for 12 months.
Pros: ~On the cheaper end of rent in the area. ~The view from higher floors is very nice. ~The studio apartments are spacious enough for the costs. ~Top floors have in unit laundry. ~Overall, a rather quiet community. Cons: ~There are pests (mice and roaches, even on the 26th floor) ~In regards to problems, management is difficult to get in touch with and ill-willing to attempt to resolve issues. ~Parking is limited enough and they have been undergoing construction with further restrictions to parking. When paying $50/month for parking it is sometimes not possible to find a parking spot. ~Crime! There are often police reports. It is nice that management is transparent however, it is evident there is an issue with the average individual living in the complex with such a high crime rate. ~In accurate charges, I have been inaccurately charged fees and parking charges (that I am assuming another resident has requested i.e. guest parking) upon trying to resolve the issue I have contacted several individuals involved with the property and have not received a response. ~The parking garage and attaching hall to the apartments is ALWAYS wet, moldy and smells. It is common for puddles of water to be on the floor in the halls. ~Fire alarm: The fire alarm is always "accidentally" set off. The fire department is very quick to respond which is comforting to know, however this common displeasure is frustrating as it seems as if a weekly occurrence to be temporarily inconvenienced with the alarm. OVERALL: I would highly advise you to seek living elsewhere.
Never live here and don’t be suckered in by the size of the apartments. There were so many bugs and I was on the 9th floor. I was not informed that they would be doing work on my balcony before I moved in and I wasn’t able to use my balcony for 5 months because of this (they barracaded the door shut from the outside). When I asked how they planned to compensate me for this, I was told “We aren’t going to do anything to make this up to you.” When my girlfriend lived here, her key was given out to a stranger who repeatedly attempted to enter her apartment while she was home alone. They take your deposit no matter what and in some cases (such as mine) they charge you more money. When I called (4 times) no one answered so I left messages asking them to contact me to explain what issue cost them more than $600.00 to fix ($300 deposit and $300 extra charges) they never responded to my calls or messages and, instead, they somehow left me voicemails (without my phone ringing) in which they threatened to turn my charges over to a collection agency. The apartment was very spacious, especially when I was able to use my balcony, but the management made the entire experience terrible. They do not care about their residents. The only thing they care about is taking as much money from you as possible.
I lived here for about a year and I am so happy to have moved out. Listen to the negative reviews. Please listen. Do not live here. The day I moved in I saw multiple roaches. The elevator sometimes takes 10 min to get to you average of 5 min. There are loud kids everywhere. Come home around 4 and the slow elevator are packed with about 30 kids screaming. I literally hallucinate roaches because they were so frequent. I avoided ever going in the kitchen because that's where most of them were. The parking garage is terrible, unfinished, trash everywhere, constant flooding. They will tow you within seconds if you ever had a quest. Sometime you cannot even get a visitor pass or parking so don't plan on having anyone park here if you move here. I was naive moving here and I thought the negative reviews were overly bias but I was wrong. Do not make this mistake. I rarely leave review but I feel a sense of integrity with this place that I must help others stop themselves from making a terrible, expensive mistake.
Safe yourself the time and hassle of moving into Skyline Towers and just don't do it. The staff is helpful and nice but looking back it seems like a trick into fooling someone into living into these horrible apartments. We lived there for 11 months and have very little nice to say about it. Besides the elevator in the 4-story garage not working...being asked to pay so much for such limited parking is awful. Every day is a struggle to find a spot for the residents and don't even try to have a guest come over. They charge $5 per guest parking pass and my guests options were to park in a large pit of mud. There are roaches in the common areas...crawling through the community washer and dryers. Only one of each ever worked on my floor and you have to pay per use. There were 4 elevators in my tower and it was rare to have them all working at the same time. Pros: Pool and farmers market...size of apartments and closets Cons: Literally everything else. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!
I've been living here for 5 months and have been dealing with mice, bed bugs and roaches. Bought traps and placed them everywhere. I'm sick and tired of placing requests to Management cause all they do is send you pest control and the maintenance crew to close the entry holes, and mice keep coming into the apartment. The bug problem can't be solved cause buildings are infested.

I have never lived in a place that was sop filthy and filled with residents that are straight TRASH. I have roaches in my kitchen and in my laundry. Am I dirty? Not anything close to it. I have felt a constant state of distress while living here. Always worried about the bugs because they literally come crawling out while you're cooking or open a drawer. If its not that then its my safety. There have been shootings and people have been killed, specifically a drug dealer while I was living here. There have been 2 apartment fires that I have known about since I moved in. Do not live here, do not let a family member live here.

Please do not belive these reviews I lived here for 6 months the building is very old and has a problem with mice infestation. I caught 4 mouses in one month. I reported this building to the city of fairfax. Once the property manager saw my complaint they immediately broke my lease and allowed me to move elsewhere.
