Property Ratings at Skyline Trinity
This coming April will make 2 years that my fiancé and I have lived here, and I couldn’t be happier that our lease is almost up! I can honestly say that the property has made improvements.. when we first got here, the hallways were ALWAYS dirty. Many folks don’t believe in picking up behind their dogs, I’ve literally seen piles of clothing left in the stairwell, and I’m sure I’ve seen AND smelled human urine on the breezeway to the garage, on more than 1 occasion. Not to mention, the walls being extremely thin. We’ve had a few issues with our upstairs neighbors being inconsiderably loud. As opposed to being confrontational, we initially went to the office to check on potentially having a meeting with the property manager, ourselves and our neighbors. The young lady at the front desk took our information & said that she’d speak with the manager & get back to us…. that day certainly never came! It gets very annoying hearing stomping, power drills running (at 12-1 AM), heavy furniture being tossed around as if you don’t deserve to be at peace in your own home! We tried calling the on-duty security, and emailing the property manager, and again.. no response. At that point, we were so frustrated that we went up there, again…. after about 5 minutes of arguing, we were able to come to an understanding. I feel that it shouldn’t have came to that, if the employees were actually doing their job! My final straw is the bug infestation that were currently experiencing. 1. We aren’t an unclean/unkept couple.. if we were, then we would’ve been exposed to insects long ago! 2. We’re on the 2nd floor 3. I understand that the weather is changing but I’ve seen 4 bugs in our bathroom within the past week. I am literally counting down the days until our lease ends. The one pro that I have to share, is the maintenance team/gentleman. They’re always quick to respond and rectify the problem. You can tell that he cares about his work, and the residents as well! The positive reviews that you see below are from residents who’ve decided to renew their lease & the office staff asked that they leave a it. Do yourself a favor, keep looking! I understood the influx of residents when Skyline’s rent was cheaper than it’s competitors; but in all fairness, if you’re going to pay the market price for an apartment complex, please try one of the other complexes in the area & spare yourself from this mess of a living situation.

Trash is everywhere, staff does not care about the residents. Amenities like the pool table and the common area are always locked up. There is dog waste all over the property, nobody bothers to refill the dog waste stations. If you have friends, lose them because they can't even park here and if they do, they might be towed even if they "registered" their car. Is mom staying over for a week? Think again. She can't park longer than three days without being on your lease. Just run far away from here.

Constant theft in the parking garage. Went out to my car one morning to find that my back window had been busted into , my work bag with roughly $1000 worth of equipment and cash was stolen from my car , after speaking with management about it they told me a few other cars had also been broken into that night , all I got from them was that they were sorry and if we wanted to file a police report , when asking if they could pull up footage to see when they stole it they said they would “see what they could do” we then asked if there were even security cameras in the garage and they replied with “we have cameras but we can’t say where” we were told that they have security in the parking garage , their security is a man who sits in a car infront of the gate all day , they also mentioned that he patrols the levels of the garage through the day which I have NEVER seen. They excused the crime by saying “we’re in uptown this is a high target area for theft “ which to me is no excuse for a car to be broke into and even more excuse to have real security. Later that day I pulled down to the front of the gate to get the window in my car replaced and in that 30 minutes of getting it replaced I had 4 diffrent cars pull up telling me different stories about theirs cars getting broken into in the same parking garage and how the management fed them the same excuses and did nothing about it . Fast forward 3 weeks later my boyfriend walks out to his car with both the front doors wide open his work bag stolen and everything in his car thrown around . When going to management about it we got the same excuses 1 . They “have” cameras but can’t show us footage or tell us where 2 . They have security that patrols… but they have yet to stop any of these crimes 3. We are in a high crime area …. Which some how makes it ok for theft to run ramped in a secured parking garage These are issues I could understand on open unsecured parking grounds but this is a , gated “secured” parking garage with “cameras” and “patrolling security” . With all this security they claim to have there should be NO excuses to have this much theft . It’s exhausting have to make sure I don’t have anything valuable left in my car before I walk inside and leaving my car unlocked so I don’t have to pay 300 dollars again to get my window replaced from being bashed in .

We got a new management company Avenue 5 and they made all these unnecessary changes to our community. They don’t communicate with us when something fall on them but when they wanna enforce some rules for example about valet trash regulations then we get a 5 page email. They took away our coffee bar, all the trash cans in the parking garage. They stay towing cars and calling parking enforcement to give people tickets who park on the street. Mind you there is NO visitor parking. Now the parking before the gate they put up signs so they in the leasing office can have somewhere to park like we don’t already have none. They’re doing construction next door on both sides. It’s MICE in different parts of the building because of the construction. The gate to the parking garage goes out. The electricity goes out probably once or twice out the month. The compactor and the trash is still terrible why they trying to micro manage when we put our trash out and bring our bin back in. They got parking security acting like police on duty all day everyday. Rent is too high to be experienced all these problems. The complex is only a year old. Everything stay broke in the units. They only have TWO maintenance guys to service a whole building. They hallways are dirty and it be full of trash. They don’t answer the phone, trying fill these units up doing tours for these empty units. People leave their dog out on the patio barking at different times at night and day. It’s dog poop everywhere, hallway and staircase. The new management company making all these changes and haven’t fix what’s broken like the nasty compactor. I’m surprised the garage truck can even fit down the street from all the dysfunctional parking. People stay about to have an accident exiting and coming into the street and parking garage. It’s so many cars it’s not big enough. I honestly can say it’s really a waste of money living here. It’s cute looking but once you experience the real it’s like a motel 6 with mice.

Hello , Thanks for sharing your experience. Our goal is to deliver a great experience and we missed the mark. We hope you will consider visiting us again so we can turn your experience around. Kindest regards, your Skyline Trinity Team
Paper thin walls, trash everywhere, unprofessional management, abysmal parking situation, construction/trash pickup being your 6am alarm, cheap construction of the units, constant power outages (definitely not for those who work from home and wanna keep their job). I mean, I can go on forever. While this place was worse not too long ago due to the masses of garbage that would be pilled up next to the one dumpster area here, it’s still pretty bad. Driving down Oregon St at certain times is nightmarish. You’ll also find ridiculous individuals who like to walk their untrained dogs with no leash (unfortunately the majority it seems) but this isn’t the fault of management so I digress. Still please consider looking elsewhere. Good location though so 2 stars for you Glen Coco!

Please know that we take your concerns seriously and we will work to improve in the areas you've highlighted for current and future residents. Thank you for your time and we wish you the best moving forward.
Overall these apartments were great at first but went down hill quick. Trash is everywhere in the parking and over thrown to the dog park . Maintenance isn’t taken care of in a timely manner. There was mold caused from the upstairs boiler and the maintenance man didn’t come take a look at it until four days later. Also after putting in a maintenance requested and calling the front desk. I had to go down stairs to speak to the front desk and still didn’t go see anyone come to the apartment that day. Parking is HORRIBLE, they only enforced it for about two weeks . I live in the second floor and constantly have to take on the top for because visitors are in the “gated parking “ . The trash is on the first floor and isn’t picked up on weekends. The stench is overwhelming on the weekends. Visitors parking is basically no exist because people leave there car for days !!! DONT PICK THESE APARTMENTS

After submitting an application for an apartment, we were told it wouldn't be ready for over 2 weeks even though when we toured and on the application, they mentioned it was available immediately. We had to keep calling to get answers about the status and soon found out there was another apartment we could lease at no additional cost. 2 days later, that apartment's not available either because there are parts that are on back-order. After pleading for our fees back due to an incorrect move-in date on the original application, we were told our only option was to wait the 2 weeks or lose out on all the money we paid. While in the process of making our decision to lease there or not, we received an email with a denial letter due to "Rental history unsatisfactory or insufficient" which was totally made up. They screwed up and are making us take the fall for their mistake. Horrible experience. Unless you want to be out $250 for app and admin fees due to lies, I wouldn't apply here. Oh and it doesn't make it better than I'm 8 months pregnant, am relocating from Houston, and have no place to live. Thanks Skyline...
