Worst office and Maintenance I have ever seen. Please poor quality of the room

Staff is friendly and apartments are as advertised.

A wonderful place for college students to live with easy access to transportation, universities, and activity centers.

Being able to take an online tour and chat with skyvue representatives was very easy and manageable, I highly recommend.

The services is really bad, the management is bad, no one take responsibility. They are not head up when the issues came up.

Skyvue is a nice place for Pitts students to stay. It’s near the bus stops and not far from the buildings I have class. Life here is not boring because you can enjoy the most beautiful scenery in Pittsburgh on the top of building and enjoy your time in gym. In addition, I really like the study room in front of my apartment, which provides me a peaceful space to overcome the difficulties in study.

Overall, SkyVue is a relatively affordable and convenient student housing option. Convenient public transportation was a big factor in my choice to stay here. The disadvantage is that the smell was a bit big when I moved in and the window cannot be opened, and the mobile phone reception wasn't that good. Luckily staff was really welcoming and willing to help me solve the problem.

Skyvue is Amazing! I am so glad I chose this apartment to be my home for the rest of my college experience. Rooms are spacious and community spaces are easily accessible.

Weird noise near the heating wall, sounds like AC making some weird sound. Happening once every 2~3 days, means no good sleep every 2 ~ 3 days. Also, the apartment has NO WINDOW. There is no way to breath fresh air!!!! For this price point it is really unacceptable. Also, the wall is thin, there is no recycle bin at each floor, you have to go to third floor to throw recycle stuffs. Super slow maintenance. No heating garage. You could really get a more comfortable place to live at 80% of the price point!

The main elevator that connects to the lobby has been broken for 2 months!! The gym has missing weights and broken equipment. Dirty hallways that typically even will have trash left, there is no effort for cleaning anything. The majority of the amenities are closed due to "covid 19" even though it is mainly because the staff and management are lazy and will only do the most minimalistic service for its residents. It's honestly amazing that this place can get people to live here. If students didn't live here, they would not get away with any of this. I most definitely do not recommend living here, they will make you promises as they did for me and they will not follow through. Deserving of 1 star out of 5.

The rooms are nice and safe but hardly anything in any of the common areas functions properly. The gym is horribly maintained and when you tour ask them to turn on a TV or a fireplace or a projector, in the sky lounge the tv doesn’t even have an outlet it can plug into.

It was great to spend a year in the US as a visiting scholar at the University of Pittsburgh. Great country, great people! But, i don’t recommend SkyVue Apartments anybody coming from Europe. They promised in the apartment lease contract to refund the deposit within 30 days after termination of the tenancy. They don’t refund the deposit. They forgot to mention that they provide checks which can be cashed only in the US and that the checks cannot be sent out of the US. I’m already not in the US, i cannot ask anybody to pick up my check, and i don’t know when i can return to the US. When i asked them to transfer the deposit to my account, they replied with the following e-mail offering the same possibilities: „Thank you for your reply, but unfortunately that is not a request we can honor. I talked with my property manager and she provided the following options to get your check: 1. We can mail the check to someone in the states and they can deposit the check into your account, but we cannot deposit personal checks into accounts. That is against our policies here at SkyVue. 2. You can arrange to pick up the check, in person with an ID, and we can hand the check over. 3. You can e-mail me a response with the name of someone who you would like to pick up the check in the office, and they would need to provide an ID for us to hand the check over to them, and they can deposit/send the check to you. As of now, those are the only options that we can follow through with. It is against our policy here at SkyVue to deposit checks into personal accounts, or withhold any of this information. If you feel you need to get your attorney involved, we do understand. But we cannot honor the deposit of this check into an account.” This is absurd! They make impossible to get back the deposit, actually they do not want to refund it! This is an absolutely unfair attitude, and i think they violate laws since this procedure was not included into the apartment lease contract!

The perks of living at SkyVue are endless - the location is so convenient to Pitt/CMU/Carlow as well as the surrounding hospitals, the building itself is beautiful and well cared for, the common areas are decked out and the gym has every piece of equipment you need! When they say "pet friendly" they really mean it! I was concerned about moving out of state and bringing a dog - especially since my pup was used to a house and a yard. The staff in the office is always spoiling her and she is adjusting to apartment life just fine. We both love the off-leash dog run and having a pet washing station right downstairs is so great. I highly recommend!

Convenient location - Friendly and helpful staff - Maintenance team is very attentive! I highly recommend SkyVue to anyone looking in the Pittsburgh area to rent!

If you are on the fence about the place, do not hesitate go for it! We couldn't be more stoked. The kitchen and bathroom are beautiful, clean contemporary design, the shower is so big and spacious, and the closet is a dream. Its gonna be hard living in another apartment after this one. The view is awesome too :)
