I have been relocated to Slate Creek Apartments for less than one month. When I applied for these Apartments one of the office Staff "Ayda" helped me kindly fill out the paperwork. after I moved to my apartment I had some issues with abnormal Refrigerator noise and she filled out the report issues paperwork, and after 2 or 3 days one of the technicians called "Tony" came and solved my problem. I want to say thank you to the management of this team. these apartments have the perfect locations, if you don't have a car you have access to Safeway, several restaurants, and great-ranking schools.

Don't waste your money!!! Nothing has worked properly in this place since my husband, son, and I have moved in. First, our washer and dryer stopped working, they had over a month to fix it and the only reason they did was because they found out we were using our washer and dryer. Next, the dishwasher broke, which was 2 months ago, and they still haven't fixed it despite repeated visits that never actually happened and me calling them to find out what was going on. Everything at this place is bandaid together which is quickly obvious once you move in. We also have the pleasure of hearing our upstairs neighbors yeti foot stomps through the ceiling. Most of the amenities around the property don't work, all they seem to actually spend money on is painting and landscaping, instead of the things that matter. They sure like to nickel and dime you, but don't like to take care of their responsibilities. RRUUUUNNNNNN FROM THIS PLACE AND DON'T LOOK BACK!!! Management and maintenance seem really nice, but the apartments and alleged "amenities" are not worth what they ask for in rent.

I stayed for over an year in slate Creek Apartments Roseville. I wanted share my experience below. 1. Management: 1/5. The worst management ever. Unnecessary charges of the apartment. I relocated from one apartment to the other apartment and stayed for only 2 months and I am charged 370$ for painting. The website setup for online recurring payments didn't work for me. I called the management team and they said they waived my fee but still I am charged late fee after I left the apartment. 2. Location : 5/5 - amazing location with all the necessary accessibility 3. Community: 5/5 community is great. Lot of good ppl around to talk to. Neighborhood is great as well. The management hasn't been great with charges I highly recommend not to stay in this apartment if your considering management reviews as your priority.

I was at Slate Creek for 2 years. Upon move in the apartment was disgusting with dead roaches and sewage coming out of the appliances and sinks along with a thick black film of god knows what covering the entire floor. Appliances never worked throughout our stay. Parking is horrendous, neighbors are loud, and people constantly let their dogs off leash and don't clean up after them. Management will wring you for every last penny they can get up until you leave so make sure to thoroughly document EVERYTHING.

This time at Slate Creek has been an absolute pleasure. I love these apartments, the complex is extremely quiet. I think it’s how the apartment building is built. No one connected to our bedrooms only the kitchen area we have an adjoining wall and the master bedrooms bathroom and closet. Still super quiet. I work nights and I yet to hear any of my neighbors get ready for work, school or drive away in their cars. We never had any issues except that our unit was 100% renovated and some of the electrical outlets did not work, but had those fixed the first week we were there. Left us a note saying they completed the job and signed. The office staff especially Carmen who helped us transition into this apartment made us feel so welcomed, we were traumatized from the last apartments we lived in, in Elk Grove. I hated it there. Anyway, it’s been an absolute perfect year here! It’s a beautiful, clean, quiet complex, and the neighbors are respectful and pleasant. Beat place to live.

I had a maintenance issue that required the hiring of a contractor to fix some plumbing and the maintenance staff would not return my calls and provide information on when the contractor would be back to finish the job. Neighbors are very loud and often bring children into the gym that are not respectful of the people using the equipment. People drive very fast through the property, and it can be difficult to find a spot.
The apartment complex recently changed management. When we signed our initial lease with Holland, "Kaylee" gave us an incorrect mailing address to our apartment complex. This has resulted in us not only having a massive issue with mail getting lost and many other problems, but also getting billed for the wrong unit's utilities AND our own. Despite acknowledging their mistake in writing and saying they're "working on it," Kaylee failed to follow through and the apartment managers never reimbursed us for the utilities we had to pay which weren't even for our unit. Conveniently, the management just changed from Holland (which was the cause of this mess) to ConAm who hasn't followed-up either.
I've been at Slate Creek for a couple of months now, and honestly, I am not happy. I'll start with my smallest issue first which is there is no recycling on the property, which bugs me. Next, the staff seems clueless about how to do things. We haven't been able to pay our rent online like we would like to because the staff in the office haven't given us a code, either they don't want to help us or they don't know how. Next, our mailman has asked them for another code for our package locker room, and once again they didn't give him a code. Then, in a random heat wave we had, our A/C broke down and they didn't repair it for a whole week!!!! Will not be renewing our lease, that is for sure! We've only lived here for 4 months and we are starting to look for a new place.
In the beginning I was excited to be living in this community. The amenities are awesome! And the maintainence crew was great! My complaints are with the constant and I mean constant work being done on the buildings. Cockroaches. Yes roaches. The staff told me that it wasn't roaches so I caught one and showed them. Well guess what? I was right. They didn't find signs of infestation in my unit so they treated the whole building which means they came from somewhere else. My parking spot was often blocked by construction workers. Dogs off leashes are a problem and people not picking up after them. I had a dog and cleaned up after her and sometimes other people's. Gross. Make sure you take pictures and document everything upon move in and do it well. They will cheat you. This is solely for the purpose of letting future renters know and to be cautious. I didn't take the time to do this and was charged for 2 things that were there when I moved in. Not charges big enough to worry about but they were illegitimate. I called the office to make them aware that this is happening to their residents (i did not ask them to remove the charges) but they insisted that it does not happen and that if I was charged for it then it wasn't there before. I am an honest person and called the office out of courtesy. The conversation did not go well as you can imagine after basically being called a liar. I was too trusting and too nice to this company and these people. Don't make my mistakes....
My biggest regret in life was deciding to move here. They lie, try and charge you about everything. They are horrible about doing their job. If they tell you to pay 200$ to hold an apartment and that it will come from your security deposit, that’s a lie. Have a maintenance need? Forget about it. Think you’ll get your security deposit back? HA. How about them charging you an extra 200$ after you already move out? This has to be the most poorly ran apartment community I’ve ever been apart of. I will never return. I will spread this everywhere because nobody needs to go through what I did. I wouldn’t wish for my worst enemy to live here. Save your stress and money.
The owners of Slate Creek will lie to your face every chance they get and milk you for every penny you own. The apartments are so old and run down and not even close to being worth the thousands they charge for rent. The complex is so noisy at all times of the day and just gross. Honestly, living here was the worst mistake I ever made and I wouldn’t wish it upon anyone.
I had a rat in my papartment two weeks ago. The pest control still have not come yet after trying to schedule it several times. I was tratned yesterday over the phone by one of their representative and who apparently talked to Samantha that I must be home or I will have to pay for the pest control. So today I took day off work and waiting home for the pest control which supports to come between 12 pm and 6pm.
I have been here less than 30 days and I am so sorry I moved here. They said they cleaned it before I moved in, but it does not look like anyone cleaned it. They said it was an upgraded apartment, I would not call old appliances, water damage, and filth an upgrade. On day 6 I found a leak under my sink, a big leak. This place is very disappointing. The appliances are so old they barely work or don't work correctly, and the parking is really bad. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
POSSIBLY THE WORST RUN MANAGEMENT COMPANY EVER. I AM A CURRENT RESIDENT IN ROSEVILLE AT SLATE CREEK APARTMENTS. 1) NEVER EXPECT SAMANTHA THE MANAGER TO CALL YOU BACK IVE LEFT MULTIPLE MESSAGES AND EVERYTIME IVE TRIED TO REACH HER IM TOLD "SHES NOT AVAILABLE AND WE DONT KNOW WHEN SHE WILL BE" - CAN YOU BE THAT BUSY?? 2) IT TOOK THEM OVER 3 MONTHS TO HANDLE MY LEASE CONTRACT TO UPGRADE FROM 1 UNIT TO THE NEXT, WHICH WOULD HAPPEN AT THE END OF MY OLD LEASE. 3) ALL OF MY PAYMENTS ARE AUTOMATIC (AUTOMATIC FOR WHATEVER THE MONTHLY BALANCE IS FOR INCLUDING SOME UTILITIES) AND THERES NEVER BEEN AN ISSUE WITH PAYMENTS - I CAME HOME TONIGHT TO A NOTICE SAYING I HAVE A PAST DUE BALANCE ON A UNIT I HAVENT EVEN BEEN IN FOR A MONTH AND THAT I RUN THE RISK OF MY LEASE BEING TERMINATED OVER $45. I OBVIOUSLY PAID THE DEPOSITS BEFORE MOVING AND THEN RENT WAS AUTOMATICALLY DEDUCTED AND OUT OF MY BANK ACCOUNT ON THE 3RD AND SOMEHOW 10 DAYS LATER IM BEING THREATENED TO BE KICKED OUT FOR SOME PAST DUE BALANCE, WHICH ISNT EVEN LISTED ON WHAT THAT BALANCE IS!!!! NO WONDER THIS COMPANY HAS HORRIBLE REVIEWS EVERYWHERE
The Slate Creek Management team is totally unacceptable. They have not kept their promises for movin ready unit. They have been negligent in their response to maintenance issues and mismanagement of the complex. They regularly have their staff vehicles and their employed contractor vehicles illegally parked in fire lane, no parking zones in violation of fire regulations and yet the recently towed / stole my vehicle which was legally parked in an unassigned parking spot. They did not contact me prior to the towing which occurred in the late night. They did not contact me the next day. I tracked my vehicle to a to company and was extorted for $285 to get back my vehicle. I contacted Slate Creek Management for reimbursement concerning this theft of my vehicle by them and was flatly denied inspite of their continued illegal parking of their staff parking within the complex. Do not move to Slate Creek. I would not recommend them to anyone. And they are overpriced.
This apartment complex has completely changed. It went from a wonderful place to live to a scary place full of liars who don't want to help you have a nice home. I was without a balcony, washer and dryer for 6 months because they couldn't fix it right the first time. Then when we thought everything was finished the A/C broke which no one helped to fix for a week and they started construction on the entire building. Living here has become very stressful. I am sick of getting the run around from the new management and being told that I am just going to have to adjust my living to fit here. Plus Parking SUCKS!!
FPI took over mgmt and prices went through the roof. Many tenants, including me, were forced out. They break existing leases, lie about amenities and ignore roblems and complaints. Great location but not worth the pain.
My rent went from $1375 a month under a year lease term to $3,069 for a month to month!!!!!! All the neighbors appear to have different rents for the same building facing the same way with the same number of bedrooms which seems to depend on what they think they can squeeze out of you. I got a lawyer for these crooks!! Remodels are a joke and poorly done. No granite! Parking is a mess! HOA FEES!!! STAY AWAY AND DON'T BELIEVE THEIR POLITENESS!
Slate Creek is NOT safe. If you care for your family's safety and your property you will not come here. The four wheels of my car were stolen at Slate Creek. The police mentioned that this was not an isolated incident. Other neighbors were victims of crime in the past months. Anyone can come in to Slate Creek and do whatever they like without fear of consequences. There are no security cameras on site, no gates, and I have never seen a security guard on the premises. Slate Creek is no man's land for thieves, robbers, and criminals. If they had enough time to steal all four wheels of a car without any trouble, they know they can commit any crime in this unprotected place. Do not bring your family to Slate Creek. It is not safe.
This apartment complex is huge and located about ten minutes off highway 80 from the Douglas or Sierra College exit and about 15 minutes from highway 50 via Sierra College-Hazel. The grounds are very nice, with three pools and two gyms, lots of trees, and play spaces for kids and adults (basketball, tennis, etc.). The Sierra College side ties into a shopping center with access to lots of restaurants a Home Goods and a Safeway as well as many other shops, banks, and even spa services. The previous management was very prompt on all complaints and maintenance, however, the recent transition has left much to be desired. This is a great place to live, so hopefully the new management gets their feet under them sooner than later!
There are so many units and people here that like this place. Its kept well in order, Staff helpful good with the residents. It has a lot of amenities and the complex is very large right in the center of the city.
Slate Creek is located in East Roseville near Granite Bay. Prime location for shopping, food and suburban life. Near schools of all levels, as well as multiple parks and recreational locations. Very affordable for the quality of life in the Roseville/Granite Bay area. One of the few complexes that is large dog breed friendly too! Highly recommended.
Moved to Slate Creek apartments about two years ago. I have a 100lb golden retriever who is my baby. Trying to find a place in Sacramento in general is hard with such a large pet but these apartments are just breed specific and are very welcoming to all large pets ! Apartments are spacious and has three pools and plenty of parking, safe area for early/late walks and kids! Highly reccommended especially if you have pets :)
