Smoky Crossing Apartment Homes

We have had a rough start since moving here in October. We have called and requested, more than once, about getting new kitchen appliance as our are outdated and not working properly. We were told after 15 days late on rent, they will file for eviction and charge an extra $550, which is their choice; however, the haste is not there when it comes to maintaining the apartments or the offices ability to handle questions in a timely manner. We have a window upstairs that isn’t installed properly, our door has a huge gap and we have watched several spiders and other bugs come through, and the cabinets and floors all need to be replaced. The amenities are good, not great… also, if you have an emergency you get sent to a phone answering service across seas and the put an order in for you, you don’t actually get to talk to anyone.

Love it! We have lived here for two years and have really enjoyed it so far. The office personnel are always friendly and willing to help with any problems you have and maintenance problems are always fixed.

Friendly community and management company! My spouse and I love it here. It is quiet despite being off of a highway! They do fix maintenance issues quickly

Smoky Crossing Apartments is a good community to live in. The staff is friendly and they make sure the place stays maintained and manicured.

Good, quiet, chill neighborhood to live in. Pretty safe as well, and pet friendly which is a plus. I would say that the appliances and speed at which maintenance gets to you are the main cons. The insides of the apartments are rough and very outdated.

Just moved in. So far so good! The apartment is cozy and feels like a home and the neighborhood is easy to navigate and has great accommodations!

Nice place to live, not much to do with pet dogs. Good neighbors, location is between pigeon forge and Knoxville. Maintenance is friendly and knowable.

Love Smoky Crossing! We’ve been here for a year. It’s been quiet and pleasant. Maintenance is quick to fix any issues we have. Overall very enjoyable

I truly enjoy the new activities that our community is experiencing lately: The Clubhouse is truly putting their thinking caps on….the On-the-Go Breakfast and then today’s DIY Flower Bouquets. I am looking forward to what is next??????

Maintenance has definitely gotten better they seem to be cleaning up the complex and show care over issues the rent has definitely become steeper though

Over all happy, but they haven’t fixed the ceiling fans still and the shrubs still need to be trimmed, also the dog stations can be cleaned more often.

The community is very beautiful only suggestion is to crack down on residents that do not curb their dog. I have two dogs and it is frustrating taking them for a walk and seeing all the poop. It is so nice they provide the bags why aren't people using them. The gated area for dogs is infested with poop, I can't even take my dogs there to have them run around.

Community is great. A lot of fun planned events. Office staff is great as well as the maintenance staff. Very quiet and friendly and safe neighborhood

Nice place to live, if you can afford the crazy jumps in rent every year. They do have a problem with maintenance follow through. Some of the fees are understandable for the most part.

Very peaceful, enjoying the amenities, great location to Knoxville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Glad to have assigned parking especially in an apartment complex this large

Great experience, super easy process on getting us moved in :) Unit well maintained when moving in and very clean! Best priced unit i have found in the area.

The place is honestly amazing, its very clean and has very nice staff, everyone is so friendly and the community is beautiful. I absolutely adore it here.

Moved in around middle of January, and couldn’t be happier. Cortney was/is our lease specialist and went above and beyond for us and our unit. Very hospitable, professional, and knowledgeable. Anyone needing to know or wanting to inquire for what to do, ask for him!!

Our outdoor railing needed to be replaced and they took care it right away we thank you all the staff kept us informed on the process of when it was going to be completed

For the most part , we have enjoyed living here, but lately it's been hard to get anything fixed in a timely manner, it usually takes a week.

Everything is great within the community. It’s quiet and respectful. I love being close to my son school as well as family members. Wish I had friends in the community to wear. My son could have kids to play with, but that will develop in time. The pool is nice in the in the playground is nice. I love being here.

The community is great… I just wish maintenance wax on top of things and I wish the office were more responsive to emails. I’ve had maintenance issues since I moved in this past July 2024.

I am enjoying living a this community. It's quiet and everyone is so friendly. I am so happy that the pickleball courts are in now and I will start to use them very soon as the weather gets warmer.

Maintenance is terrible. The office staff are cool. We need security at night time, we had it at one time but it stopped. Noise ordinances needs to be enforced, nothing like waking up in the middle of the night because your neighbors kids are jumping around like hyenas and shakes the walls!

The new windows are perfect. My wife is very happy. The unit is very comfortable. Easy to get to, and parking for our unit is very convenient.

Apartments are good. Need some upgrades. The lawn needs to be leveled out. There's so many dips which is dangerous at night walking around. Pretty quiet neighborhood

Management and maintenance staff. Very friendly, location is excellent. Near Knoxville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Sevierville, Marysville.

Apartment was clean, anything that needs to be fixed, gets done in a reasonable time. Had no issues with the parking lot during the ice and snow.

I love my apartment but something has got to be done with the people that can't follow the rules. Speeding in and out almost hitting people and kids is ridiculous. On top of that we have to live next to those that say I pay rent so I can do whatever I want and turn there music up so loud in the mornings at 6-6:30 until they all leave for school isn't fair. I also pay the rent but I'm respectful to my neighbors.

I love Smoky Crossing Way! Very safe and a beautiful neighborhood! It is kid friendly and animal friendly. I love to know that my dog is safe and as well as myself in the community.

Smoky crossing is a wonderful place to live! Friendly and helpful staff. My move went very smoothly with all the help from Lacey and her staff

Management office is always very helpful. One phone call and any questions are handled quickly and professionally. Maintenance crew is also on point.

Experience has been pretty good, neighbors are quiet and some what sociable. Lawn care is better than last year, last year, maintenance is doing a good job and are friendly when they see you.

We Love living at Smoky Crossing! The neighborhood is quiet, the office staff and maintenance crew are awesome! Only complaint is we really need stop signs at the end of the roads. But everything else is great!

I am so thankful for the great customer service! Whenever I had a question this team assisted me with great care and consideration. We were very grateful that the rental we have was well furnished and clean upon move-in.

Our resident experience has been good overall. Maintenance is slow to respond at times, but they do a good job with issues that we have had recently. There are more cars than parking spaces at Smoky Crossing and that causes a problem if we have a visitor. The staff is friendly and the grounds are reasonably maintained. Depending on the cost to live in Smoky Crossing, we will very likely renew our lease for our 11th year.

We are loving our place so far! Can’t wait to get time to use the gym! My kid is so looking forward to this summer to use the pool. The office has been wonderful about getting any problem we have had fixed in a timely matter!

I’ve enjoyed the grounds very much. My dog loves it too! Wish the appliances,paint and carpeting would have been updated before we moved in almost 2 years ago

So far so good. Move in process was quick and easy, staff very nice including maintenance we saw as we were moving in. I guess we will see how it goes in the future but so far lovely property.

Happy Resident, location and community is great! Staff is great, neighbors are great! Lots of awesome changes to the community. Seymour is a great place to live and raise a family!

I love the new pickle ball set up. Glad to see the new updates. Now if the rent doesn't go up for a few more years that will be great...My rent have went up 5 times in 6 years ..

I've been here a long time and personally have not had any issues with the new management so far. I do feel sometimes that I am put on the back burner when issues come up because they're not priority of course. People come people go it is what it is.

Smoky Crossing, has been a great place to live. It's quiet out here and everyone we've met has been friendly. When something needs fixed, it's done rather quickly.

It's peaceful, all areas are taken care of, good walking areas, good gym tools, really love the dog bags & trashcans for residues very useful. 3 Things to mention 1- I've walked in some areas there is a lot of dog residues (poop) all over the grass area, I do not know if bc people have grass around connected to their house that means its ok for them to do that but its disgusting. 2- I'm so excited about the Pickle ball court!, Do u guys have a date when it's going to be finished? Also the fences are too low, wasn't a good idea for a pickle ball court having low fences due to the ball can be going over the fences all the time which might be no pleasant having to go thru the fences often to get the pickle ball's ball. 3- add a Plug access to be able to connect/plug our own vacuum in the car wash area. Besides that, Loving the neighborhood and just trying to give constructive comments for future references.

We have been a resident of Smoky Crossing two years now. The management does a good jobs maintaining the grounds to keep them clean and updated. The amenities are good.

Kind front office. Very easy to apply. The apartment was clean and updated. The surrounding areas were clean. The neighborhood is quiet. I am happy with how there are lights where you can see at night

I've lived at Smoky Crossing for over 5 years &like any place it has its downside but mostly it's been a positive experience!. It's a safe, clean and quiet community with nice amenities.

We absolutely love it here the community is very great and the staff is also amazing, we haven’t had any problems with anything everyone is super friendly
