In general, I like this community as I met a lot of nice residents here even was able to make friends with them. But I am hoping the process and time to take for maintenance service can be improved a little bit more. I also lived in another old community in east bay, they can usually handle any request in one day if given two hour time window. And there were less problems there found there. But since I moved here, I have found three major issues: door open-close, leaking faucet, toilet seat doesn't stay up which influenced my first impression on the apartment. One advice might be, before new residents moving-in, if we can inspect the apartment more to identify and solve those issues in advance. New residents' impressions would be even better. In all, I would still recommend this community as it really feels like home and management & maintenance crews are easy and nice to work with.

I probably wouldn't recommend Sofi Berryessa since most of my friends wouldn't want to live in east San Jose if they didn't have to. We moved here years ago when it was a more affordable option in a less desired location but now I feel like the rates have climbed high enough that its comparable to options in Campbell, which tends to be more desirable because of the shops and community.

I moved from Midwest to San Jose, so I needed all the process to be done online. Michael was fantastic in helping through the transition and was very helpful on providing all the information that I needed clearly. The community is maintained well, and I love how beautiful and clean my area is. The swimming pool and the gym are very clean and comfortable to use.

The leasing professional has been an excellent and honest information provider. I love that about the experience. If there's one huge reason why I wouldn't take the apartment, it would be the parking situation. The apartment complex is beautiful, accommodating, and it fits most of my lifestyle choices, but I will have an issue with the parking situation. Having a family come over to visit atleast once or twice a week is a huge factor for me so I'd love for them to be able to come byb easier.

Great Place to Live
Current resident of Sofi Berryessa. Community is very quiet and nice to live. Pool and BBQ area is neatly maintained. Workout area is great. Services are pretty quick, and whole service team is so helpful and professional. Michael and Sonia are very helpful and make a great team. I always feel like I am able to communicate with them and receive prompt responses.
