Quick response Getting electronically locked out is no fun with dogs on leashes, but having quick response from the facility team is awesome and follow up the next day to fix it permanently made me feel safe and content. I was truly grateful.

Lived here for a year. During that time we have had 2 main issues with our 2 bedroom apartment. The first issue was a leak under the floor of 1 of our bedrooms. They had to jack hammer, dry the area, and re do the floors. This took them 3 weeks to complete at which time we could not use the bedroom. After months of follow up, it once finally agreed that I would be compensated for these 3 weeks. Unfortunately the employee that told me this then left SoFi and I am not getting a response from anyone else. The second issues was a leak from the ceiling of our only bathroom. It was a construction site for 1 week. No compensation either. Aside from the maintenance issus, the gates are constantly left open. Non-residents are walking through and going through the trash, it doesn't feel too safe for a supposably gated community
We have been living in this apartment complex for more than a decade because we are happy where we are and still. Every management staff are all helpful and courteous in dealing with any issues from the very beginning regardless of the change of management. Highly recommend Sofi Ocean Hills
I wouldn't recommend this apartment complex for two things. 1. There isn't enough parking which you have to pay for considering the gates continue to stay open without any reasoning or resident notice. 2. There isn't any electric charging capability for electric vehicles considering there are neither garages nor outlets we can plug into.
Love this community but unfortunately the rent is now far too expensive
Paying for community features that are often broken or unable to be used. Office staff makes it extremely hard when questions/concerns are presented. Landscaping is gorgeous, and it is overall a peaceful community. Units are cute but they have wear and tear including peeling cabinets, fixtures with extremely low water pressure, and appliances that often break.
Only real issue I have is the noise produced by motorcycles and loud engine vehicles / music on the premises. I know this isn't directly a management issue, but maybe additional signage and messaging could help preserve some quality of life in regards to noise pollution.
In today's market, the rent seems reasonable. The community is quiet and people are friendly.

Management here is awful. These ladies were really nice at first and the apartment they have to show looks very high end but once you actually move in it is a really different story. We had to hire our own person to clean before move in because they did not do it. The apartment had food stains on the kitchen countertops and the bathroom was dirty. Since it is a pet friendly apartment, they should have been more careful when renting the unit to someone else but instead I found balls of hair on the chimney. It is true that the gate is broken all the time and they do not do anything about it. Common areas smell like pee and weed and there’s been multiple cars broken into this ‘gated community’, where was management when all this happened. No one knows because if you go to the office they’re never there. Btw it is not true that they do not accept pitbulls here, there is a neighbor who owns a really dangerous and aggressive pitbull, when brought up to management they just said there is nothing they can do since the owner has a ESA letter. I also have emotional support pets and they’re not barking at or almost attacking my own neighbors.

Any concerns expressed or that may have been previously missed, we would certainly take the time to address. All apartments are professionally cleaned after a move out. We would need your apartment number and contact information to investigate why you found your apartment not move in ready. Our staff are in and out of the office daily assisting prospects on tours and residents on move in and move out inspections as well as any emergencies that may arise. We must accept ESA dogs with the proper approved paperwork no matter what the breed. Summary: Anyone reading this, do not rent an apartment here under any circumstances. Extreme Safety Issues: The front gate of our “gated community” is broken half of the time. Even if it’s closed, people just follow people in anyways. The security team is rarely seen after they drive in for the first time. Check out Brothers in Arms reviews if you don’t want to take my word for it. Our car has been stolen from the complex twice and the only response from management was “that sucks and if we need anything, let them know.” There’s been more cars broken into than I can count and even broken apartment windows. Even with knowledge of these events, (there’s written documentation through emails residents sent to them with replies), they won’t increase security, add security cameras, or any extra security measures, or at the bare minimum even notify the other residents. If you look up crime statistics, we have a higher crime rate inside our gates than outside of them. If management actually cared about residents' safety, they would have taken proper precautions after the first theft so we wouldn't be having these issues at least two years after someone had requested cameras due to car theft. At a bare minimum, they would have notified the other residents so they could be vigilant especially with kids in the complex. Additionally, our car was towed by our own management even though we pay for our spots every single month. They’re very tow happy here. Their package lockers were super cool to me upon move-in. However, the large lockers are so slammed with packages, it can take 10-15 minutes pulling everyone's packages out to try and find the right package and then repacking all the other packages into the locker again and hoping it will close. Which normally is inconvenient, but it’s fine. During Covid? That's way too much cross-contamination. Can you imagine of one person had Covid in here? Every single resident would end up with it. (Minor complaint, the gym is open now, however the rock wall is still not open. Local laws say it can be. The safety and amenities are the main reasons we chose this apartment.)
