Sofi Parc Grove

I live on the 3rd floor and there is this constant smell of marijuana always coming from the same apartment . I see no one one coming in and out but the smell is ridiculous . Nice place though.

CushWake took over a few years ago and has spent their time fixing outside at the expense of inside the building. Has become dirty and smelly and the door always seem broken. Doesn’t seem like it will get any better.

There are a lot of things I think could be better in this apartment complex however the maintenance team is not one of them! They are wonderful!

Good location and good maintenance. Lots dogs though that bark at times. Unknown what SOFI ownership will do to rents going forward so neutral for now.

I would recommend it because it is overall a nice place to live, but I would caution them about the management office.

Love living here. Location is great. The front entrance could use a makeover. The boxes are embarrassing. The carpets in the halls are stained and gross. The elevators could use a good scrubbing. Love my apartment. Feel safe.

Location is nice, amenities are up to par compared to other complexes in the area. I would not recommend based on the clientele that has changed in recent years

As mentioned above, the service team is terrific, but the apartment complex needs to be updated, a face lift, there are far too many issues that have not been addressed that could easily be fixed if management focused. SERVICE Team is terrific

We have been very pleased with Jonathan and Randy. Although we haven't had any complex issues, they respond in a very courteous and efficient manner. This supports our community in the upkeep of our apartments.

The apt. was newly painted and clean. It appears the mechanicals we're not fully inspected before I moved in. Both the washing machine and refrigerator were leaking. The washing machine was replaced and, hopefully, the refrigerator will be replaced soon so I do not have to watch the pan inside collect water from the leak.

Ever since the new “management team” took over there has been zero communication to the residents and constant unfinished construction. They sent a vague email months ago stating there “would be construction for necessary improvements” but have since communicated nothing further, including closing half of the parking garage entrance and exit. We work nights and sleep during the day and the parking garage construction rattles our apartment from jack-hammering and grinders starting at 8AM on the dot. When we asked management for a schedule of the work being done we were told they could not provide and it would be occurring for the next “couple weeks”. That was a month ago. When asking the office staff in person I was rudely brushed off and told “yea, we can hear it too”. If it’s not the construction, it’s the dumpsters being banged around in the middle of the driveway. We received ZERO COMMUNICATION and ZERO COMPROMISE. There are also multiple construction projects throughout the building that have been started and just left for weeks. The package room is unorganized. The “locked” Peking garage doors and other doors to the community are regularly left open and unlocked to the public. We cannot wait to get out of this hell hole.

This property is under new management. My boyfriend and I moved into the building in September and from the start this experience has been truly a disaster. Our apartment was not ready in time for our move in. Upon arrival we were notified that there were maintenance people and cleaning staff still in the apartment and that we could move in around them. On top of that we had several issues with the unit such as appliances not working, our flooring installed incorrectly, and damage to the cabinetry that looked absolutely poor and unacceptable. On top of this we needed to re-schedule our couch delivery since they needed to fix the flooring while we were living in the apartment. All of our maintenance issues and move in hiccups were not resolved until 3 weeks after our move in. Management handled the situation very poorly and we constantly needed to hunt down the property manager for almost an additional month to rectify the situation. On top of our move in disaster, living here has been quite the nightmare as there is constant construction with little to no notification to the residents including work being done on the garage or on the first floor throughout. Package room is completely disorganized and the package locker system has been broken since moving in. Our packages have been delayed upon delivery additional business days since it is difficult to identify where they are even left and a few of our packages have been lost with management saying it’s not their issue. Horrible apartment complex to live in. Having lived in 3 other apartment complexes in Stamford, we chose this one given it had loft options but 100% not worth it and the worst establishment we have lived in by far.

Location is the only good thing about this building. Office staff is incompetent, unfriendly, and unprofessional. The guest parking and future resident parking in between buildings is taken up by residents half the time and the center drive is always congested with traffic of maintenance or delivery trucks. Residents or guests or just passer-byers are always parked in the loading zones or even in the middle of the road - the building staff never does anything about it. The courtyard is a dump, literally - it smells like poop from all the dogs. One building door can be ripped open without much effort or key fab - I once watched a delivery person let themselves in without hesitation. The fire alarms are always going off. There have been 2 gas leaks in the last 9 months - 2 too many. The building has zero regard for residents and their standard of living. Garbage dumpsters get dragged out of the garages at 6:30AM MWF and sit outside the main drive until the garbage truck comes 2 hours later and disrupts the entire neighborhood. In the era of working from home, I had to plan my meetings around this because it was so loud and disruptive. the windows are also cheap and do not insulate the apartments well, it gets cold in the winters and you have to crank up the heat in the winter and the AC on blast in the summer. The gym is average and only accessible mid-day b/c it gets too busy after 4pm. The bball court gets locked early so you cant even use it when its convenient for you. Rent is too high for what you get. I have been itching for my lease to 3 months into it.

I love the location, the interior courtyards and my actual apartment. The gym is very small and disjointed making it very hard to have multiple people working out at once depending on the machine/free weights. I have had a lot of problems with the portal without any resolution from the team.

Well with COVID and things I felt a matter to isolate Jordan made me and others feel welcomed, Thank you.

I think this community it a nice place to live

I love the lay-out of our apartment and the amount of space is perfect. The package service and need for regular painting are the 2 deterrents to this complex.

Parc Grove is a prime place to live in a prime location. Right across from the stamford mall, movie theatre, a strip of restaurants and stores and highway.

Its been great, but I need to shut my windows at night because those lights are so bright.

I moved to Ct from Ny in August. I absolutely love this PLACE! At night its so quiet and in the daytime you get to see all the doggies! I love the underground parking. Any issues I had were fixed the same day.

It is a pleasant place to live. It is conveniently located and the residents are friendly and courteous.

Its a good place to reside if you work around the downtown!

One of the best properties in Stamford in terms of location and design but has gone slightly down hill in the past 2 years. Good sized apartments and most of them have ample storage. Hallways have been renovated and they look great. The garage gates in building one are often damaged by cars misjudging their height. The patios were renovated a while back and the work is substandard. Debris and liquid can easily fall thru to the patio below so don't spill anything scolding. Maintenance staff's work is very competent..

We enjoy living in ParcGrove Stamford. Its a wonderful place to reside. The apartments are lovely & location is great. Leasing office is professional & helpful. Maintenance is amazing.

Great when everything is working. Hard to get maintenance to follow requests, had to submit requests numerous times for numerous issues, elevators are always broken, "secured garage" had doors that did not work for months, just a lot of things going wrong for something that I pay a lot of money for. I had much higher expectations for this place and am very disappointed.

I will never ever recommend Parc Grove to anyone connects or in my contacts! My poor feedback from me.

ParcGrove is rather expensive, particularly if you are unable to begin your lease in the winter, but overall offers a nice set of amenities and a prime location downtown. Available resident and guest parking is the best in the city. Management is friendly and helpful

Overall, the apartment is pretty good with satisfying amenities and services, nice location and great layout.

You dont want to share my comments

Apartments are nice and the maintenance team is awesome. Amenities are okay, but there are definitely nicer places for the same price in the Stamford area. Leasing office agents are incompetent and it takes hours and multiple office visits/calls/emails to resolve any problems you may have. Security is also not great as there have been multiple break-ins during the year and a half that I have lived here and no one has done anything about them.

Its very convenient to live in ParcGrove, because having the maintenance team you do not have to worry about any reparation, Also when you move-in here the carpets and walls are refreshed and you do not have to think about it.

ParcGrove Maintenance Crew was quick to fix and repair our requests. It goes a long way! Thank you for the speedy service and great communication.

The office staff is definitely not professional enough.

This place is a rip off. They spend more money on the aesthetic of the building than on the living conditions of people in the apartments. We have a 2 bedroom loft and the Master Bedroom and the living room is 80 degrees all summer. The Staff here refuse to do anything about it or will not compensate on the rent; our electric bill was $500 because the A/C was running 24/7 because it doesn’t work properly. But they have compensated 4 other tenants. They also gave away our parking spot that comes with the loft. The loft comes with 2 parking spots and they gave the assigned spot to a 1 bedroom apartment because the staff didn’t want to have the difficult conversation of changing his spot. • Cleanliness: There’s mice that scavenge for food out in the grills because the grounds keeping won’t clean underneath/ inside the grills/gas tank, even though the community does a very good job of keeping it clean after use or toss the garbage when it’s needed, rather will wait until it’s over filling • Safety: the black gate next to the Leasing office is always wide open. People who don’t live here have walk right in. All the time. You’re better off paying a little more to not live here. Trying to save $100-125 a month, (compared to other places) is not worth it.

I lived in ParcGrove for roughly 1.5 years. While my time there initially started off fine, it worsened dramatically. One of the largest problems was the nuisance that began to occur during last winter. There was a loud banging noise from the pipes upstairs. This was not your typical pipe clanging that occurs when pipes warm up, this was a louder, longer, and more repetitive noise that occurs when there a fixture is fastened too tightly. Due to the fact there is little-to-no sound-proofing in this complex (acknowledged by another resident in these comments), the noise would cause me and my fiancee to awaken in the middle of the night and then early in the morning. When I asked management to fix the situation, they wouldn't respond. Later when we went to move out, ParcGrove had the audacity to claim our place was not clean enough, despite the fact we had professionally cleaned the carpet and spent days ensuring everything was immaculate. They took our security deposit then hounded us for more money while threatening our credit. We filed a complaint with the Connecticut Department of Banking and the Better Business Bureau. This place is the worst. THE WORST.
