Em and her team have been great for my past 4+ years staying here. They take your questions and inquiries seriously and always listen attentively. The maintenance crew is also professional and polite; 10 out 10 my service tickets are taken care of within next 24-48 hours. Overall a fantastic apt to me. Highly recommended!
While relocating to the area, Sofi Riverview Park had all of the things that I was seeking in a home away from home. 1. Location: Safe family-oriented community and neighbors with walkable trails and parks. Also walkable distance from public transportation and community shopping areas. 2. Unit: Appropriately priced for the area and space. Included my must-haves: a. walk-in closet, b. close garage, and c.large balcony that not too close to neighbors. 3. Amenities: Enough for the size of the facility 4. Staff: Friendly staff!!

I would recommend because the area is secure and friendly (close to public VTA) I would not because of old furnishings and outdated appliances.
Pricing is a bit high relative to other communities that are next door. Amenities are a bit lacking relative to the next door communities, parking is an issue for all these properties as well. The apartments themselves are good.
Would not: apartment is somewhat noisy (air system makes quite some noise). Would: close to work
I would say the hallways do smell of trash and the carpets in the hallways a very dirty which can make the walk to and from your unit not very pleasant.

Spacious floor plan with lots of storage, modern appliances and finishes, quiet community, top-notch amenities, great location, affordable price.
I greatly appreciated how welcoming and prepared the leasing agent was. I've gone to multiple tours and those agents were either unknowledgeable about the property or unclear with information. It was extremely helpful to have the leasing agent show multiple units and write down all important information instead of expecting me to remember every single detail.
Nice community, nice appliances overall but we are looking for a larger 3 bed (larger master bedroom).

Community seems safe (though I think people's packages get taken sometimes and there are definitely issues with residents smoking on their balconies/ in apt). It's nice that the building is near a park. Wouldn't really recommend for dog owners because even though the building is dog friendly, there aren't any amenities for dogs specifically (dog waste stations/ dog park).

Basically a slightly lower grade apartment hoping or trying get the same rents as Riverview Apartments next door. The new owners bought this place and did unnecessary cosmetic changes: changed the entire office furniture, repainted some external walls from green to blue, added brown panelling at the pool fence... and they want to increase rents & utilities! Their utility bill backs are atrocious.... I am in a tiny 1bedroom and have to pay $66 for water & sewer, $11 for HVAC in the common area, $12 for trash, $4.50 service fee?! I have been a resident before the new owners & management team. Never had a string of break-ins but they popped up in the past 8months. Apart from that, there's a toilet sewer smell (not the Dixon Landing trash small) which emanates from the courtyard area in the middle of the night/early morning, I am guessing from the sewer vents. Occurs several times a month.

I would recommend this apartment community because it is safe, clean, quiet, and dog-friendly.
Everything has been perfect since ive been there. The community itself is quiet, the other tenants tend to keep to themselves and don't really cause any occurrences and the staff are elite. From Kiely, Karla, Tatiana and Em. Every single person I have interacted with have been absolutely wonderful. I am trying to get all my friends to live here hahaha
1. I don't like the hallway-look to each unit, make me feel like entering a hotel/motel room. 2. I don't like the master bed room is small (which is commonly seen in all housing built around the year & later yours is built.)
The whole process was perfect. However, I wish there is something in place where when someone is looking at a property, it is placed ont emporary hold. After my appointment, I went back to my office and applied. When I reached the end of the application, the property was no longer available. This has nothing to do with the leasing agent as she was perfect and very friendly. It is just a comment on the process itself.
I like the community in general, however there is always something broken: Just to name over the last few months the fire alarm was broken, now the entrance garage gate is broken, there is missing education for the trash disposal everyone just go and throw trash in the room but not int he dispenser. And the rent are raised every year!!
It is a nice area to live. I would not if the person is looking for value for money.
The building is relatively new, but due to the worst possible management it is rapidly deteriorating. There has been break-ins, robberies from cars, stolen shoes etc. All in what is supposed to be a "gated" community. Here is what is claimed on the website: Limited Access Gates: Most days, the garage gate is broken. They fix it and it is broken again the next day. So this is NOT A GATED community. The gate is wide open now for the last 3 months. Recently they installed security cameras. So when someone breaks into your apartment (because the gates are ALWAYS open), they will show you the footage of the thief. Very relieving... I am looking forward to the day my lease term ends.

Unfortunately I do not see an option of zero star. I will not recommend this apartment. Staff especially manager Jake is extremely rude. Before moving in we were promised for 3 free parking spots for 3 bed apartment repeatedly. But when it came to actual parking allotment we are charged for the 3rd parking lot. While talking to manager he was very rude about this and was busy in making his own different points to change the topic e.g. our community has so cheap rates etc. I moved here in Jan 2016 and still no amenities are opened. They just opened a pool which seems to be not maintained properly at all. Also service for any kind of problems is extremely slow and sometimes they just forget things even after reminding multiple times. They charge you sometimes even if it is not your fault. i.e. they charged me for window cover which got damaged because of the wind. It was of that bad quality. I have been in California in different apartments for 3 years and never saw anyone charging you for stuff like that. Gym is not opened yet. Parking lot is horrible too. It has mall like structure with very little space to move your car when going towards your spot. Chances of collision in between are extremely high. Even they lost referral papers I gave them when I referred someone for the bonus. First I would avoid going for this apartment but in the worst case you have to move in then make sure that you take each and every promised thing is written in email form and it is on the lease. I can assure you, you cannot trust these people. Also if you want to break the lease they charge you $19400 according to our lease which was never told to us. This is extremely high charge if you are not happy at all and want to leave. Jennifer will speak sweet to you but whatever she assures you is not going to be there on the lease as manager Jake takes all the decisions no matter what his employees say when they take you on round. In short unless this is your only option do not go for it. I would pay little extra elsewhere to get mental peace. PS: there are repeated incidences of theft. Also trash is not managed properly and will stink a lot near elevator sometime even near corridor.
This is the worst decision I have ever made to move in this apartment.For numerous reasons-: 1.) Degraded Quality of products used-: Each and every thing used inside house is of bad quality.It looks good when you enter but as u start living and using u get to know how poor quality they have used. Everything,I literally mean everything is defective.Starting from door, toilet,kitchen cabinets. 2.)Rude Staff-: I have never face such a rude staff in my entire life.They talk to you as if they are doing you a favor. 3.)No amenities-: Its been almost 6 month we don't even have a mailbox, no gym, no pool. They take your money included on rent for amenities but u get nothing. 4.)Mail Theft-:I was expecting my credit cards and as they don't have mailbox ready the management receive our mails. I got alert from my bank regarding transactions which I never actually did.Then I realized my cards got stolen after being delivered. 5.)No parking space-: These guys have not even allotted parking space.We have to park outside as people are randomly parking there vehicles anywhere. I think its better to pay 200-300$ extra but to stay in a better place , atleast u ll have soom peace and better quality with amenities.Trust me its worth it.
