Overall rating We've lived in this complex since 2008 and for the most past its been a good experience. The corporation has changed hands several times and some owners have been better than others. Sofi is one of the good ones overall though I wish you would employ more maintenance workers.

There are a couple of things that I would like to see but in general we are very happy with our home here and we think the staff is great. My patio floods when it rains and stays flooded, doesn't drain. It seems that it should drain. I would like to see if that could be corrected.

It was just ok. I felt like for the price I paid, the interior, lighting, and appliances would have been upgraded. The place felt a little cheap for the price I paid.
Over all, we love sofi, we love our home, and we love the team supporting us. This place is awesome
Great environment. Great amenities especially washer and dryer if you have kids . Rent is high but that's common everywhere... and paying that price here would be good choice also because shops , freeway , schools are within 5 mile radius.
f you truly want to live in a smoke free apartment building, do not move here. You will experience no only cigarette smoke smell, but marihuana smell. If you care about your health or your family’s health, find another complex since management don't seem to care. It isn't them being affected… so they don't do anything about it.

People are friendly and I feel we are in good hands and will be dealt with fairly and with good spirit. The place is well kept. The parking situation is not well resolved but we can deal with it.
Why I took 1 point off is because the apartment is relatively old. Luckily, the maintenance is great.
So far we are loving it. People are friendly snd we feel well supported here.
My daughter and I have lived here for 4 years and we love it! The staff is great and so is the community

The apartment was dark and depressing. Not a lot of light at all and just not what I am looking for.
Apartments are a great size and the area feels very safe, but for how much we pay there are definitely a lot of shortcuts taken when it comes to the quality of repairs and the interior of the apartments in general. Such as windows/doors being thin and cheap feeling, paint on the walls/cabinets is sloppy in some areas, baseboards having raw edges, windows and blinds are outdated, ect.
George is the best landlord ever ! Everyone at Sofi is top notch especially the lady that keeps up the cleaning.
Maintenance has been consistently excellent at this apt community. Everyone is courteous, prompt, professional, trustworthy. Staff here is a big plus!!
The community is very clean and quiet. Feels like a tiny home rather than an apartment. The apartment amenities are amazing
Good value for money. Larger 1-bedroom floor plans than market average. 1 bedroom plans have a den.
I have and would recommend the apartment community to friends and family. I would not advise in regards to pricing as rent has increased since I've been here.
Repairs are done very promptly and professionally, but also very "cheaply", meaning the replacement materials are below expectations for a place like this.
The leasing Agent is so friendly and accommodating. She is truly a professional. I enjoyed working with her.

Overall quiet community and convenient to shopping. Maintenance is taken care very well.
I would recommend this community because it is a very nice and safe area and the amenities are great but I would not recommend the community because the pricing is too high for what is being offered.
The location is not for everyone being in Thousand Oaks, but I'm a big fan and love it so far.
Rental rates and standard increases are daunting and I'm not sure friends and family can match the pace.
They really do respond quickly and let you know their next steps right away if they need to come back to replace something, etc.
I recommended Sofi to those I work with but they aren't willing to make the drive from Port Hueneme. Also, the market value has gone up 600 from when I moved in a year and half ago. No one I know wants to spend 2300 on a one bedroom apartment.
Maintenance responded to my work order the very next day, and fixed my sink with no issues.
While maintenance requests are important, I know some family and friends would not be able to afford this apartment community.
Great size, nice layout. I like the carpet and honey feel. The small walkway makes me feel a little claustrophobic, but I haven't seen the entire complex yet
One of my few concerns has to do with the uneven sidewalks and large puddles that develop right outside our unit (477-102). The sidewalk is pitched downward toward the curb (where the sidewalk meets the short walkway to/from our unit), and you step into 6 inches of water sometimes. It's too large to cross over, so you end up getting your feet completely soaked. My husband is in wheelchair, and we have to cancel medical appointments when it rains due to fact that it's so difficult to get him into the wheelchair with that huge puddle. Wish units were more accessible for people who have mobility problems.
Overall a positive environment. Neighboring walls are too thin. Covered parking too far and too many stairs from my unit.

While everything about actually living at Sofi Thousand Oaks is something I can and have recommended, when interested friends have considered renting here the rental rate is too much for them.
SAFE, BEAUTIFUL, QUIET, CLOSE TO EVERYTHING. UP TO DATE SPACIOUS APARTMENTS. BEAUTIFUL AMENITIES.
I have very noisy upstairs neighbors, (533, apt 204) & have had to have many conversations with the many occupants. It leads me to believe that sound is a problem. Possibly better insulation btw Apartments? Also the noise of A/C & Heater are very loud, actually need to turn up TV when they kick on. Previous Apartment Manager was not engaged & did not prioritize tenants. Bianca in office & all Maintenance Team are very good.
Security is very poor. My car has been broken into and items stolen. Neighbors have told me od v other instances of theft.

It was a friendly, safe, well maintained community. It was very close to shopping of all kinds and the beautiful park across the street was a bonus.
The repairs were time in a timely manner and mostly up to what we would expect.
Great place with friendly people, a bit expensive for what you get when there are other options.

There was nothing available for the short term lease that I needed at Sofi's. But I want you to know that that lady at the front desk was extremely sweet and helpful! I can't remember her name but she said she also lives on the property. I very much enjoyed meeting her and talking with her. She made the experience wonderful and she is an asset to your company.
The amenities (pool and gym) are kept in great shape. Parking is very easy. The community is pleasant and quiet. The apartment gets a lot of natural light.
The area is great. The amenemities is awesome and clean. We love the pool area. The gym is always clean. Having a patient portal to pay rent or email maintenance or the office is awesome. Staff is friendly and no issues with neighbors or noise, etc
This is a well maintained, safe and friendly community. It's in a very convenient location, easy to get to markets, shopping and restaurants, but quiet and surrounded by beautiful green space.
