SoFi Union City is home My apartment is a home. Expensive but everything is in the Bay area housing market. Overall, it's a good place to live.

24/7 Maintenance I have to hand it to SoFi's Maintenance department. Twice now, I have had an emergency at night, and both times on a holiday. But they got my messages and called me right away. The first time the head of maintenance, Beto, had to drive 2 hours in the middle of the night for me. And this last time he was on the phone with his guy that was here. It took Beto, Ivan, and a plummer to find the problem. But they didn't leave until they found it. He even brought in a Shop Vac and cleaned up all the mud in my bathtub. This kind of response is just unheard of! It's so, so nice to not have to worry about losing your only bathroom when something goes wrong. Five stars and two thumbs up! ????

Sofi Alvarado We enjoy living at Sofi Alvarado. Their office personnel are efficient, polite and very professional. Their maintenance staff are quick and personable. Our neighbors smile. And my wife and I feel safe.

The apartment complex is In a great location, close to restaurants and shops. Friendly neighbors and staff was a plus and quality maintenance service when needed.

I would recommend this community to anyone. Jewel was an amazing representative. Reason I do not make a decision to rent is the commute time to San Francisco.

Very convenient to all amenities and most especially to school.

Too much dog poop in my walkway. I have kids who stepped on it. Very disgusting. I told the office on Friday and the dog poop is still there

The apartment is not well kept especially the laundry facilities. It is so disgusting. Office staff is not very helpful once the tenant moved in the attitude changes too.

I would recommend bc it' a nice community at a convenient location. Only reason I would not recommend is due to the price considering my apartment is tiny.

A peaceful place to live in and easy access to nearby grocery stores, market and shopping center.

If able, avoid renting here! There are car break ins, no notice from management of incidentS! Gates always broken doors that are locked on the outside are propped open or broken and rarely if ever repaired. “Security” drives through property (quite fast actually so be careful coming home at night or walking to overflowing garbage bin) but does not stop or walk through community. Multiple cars with same stall permit are in “first come...” spaces but always leave their stalls empty which forces you to park outside of community, if there are spots and those spots don’t have broken glass from all THOSE car thefts or break ins. Dog poop everywhere. Garbage everywhere. You can hear your neighbors no matter if you live up or downstairs, if you happen to live downstairs pray you get people like us who understand their floor isn’t made of clouds cause OR have wild kids! you hear every stop And stomp you also hear them in the bathroom sometimes, especially the gassy ones (up or downstairs) the office staff is rude and good luck getting a smile or hello. I don’t know which is worse, the assistant managers attitude or emotionless face... but she’s always in the office so you have to deal with her anyway. There are dogs off leash and stray cats running around all day, as well as a family of skunks, kids throw their garbage everywhere, climb into your patios, sit RIGHT in front of your door and run and ride their bikes throughout parking lot so be careful cause they pop out randomly and quickly, with all the jerks that speed through there I hope none get hit ever. There is no comfort or privacy the place is garbage, do yourself a huge favor and tour community during office hours (before actual appointment) and after hours (a couple of times if you can)... I PROMISE you’ll be able to get in and out very easily. And if you can speak to multiple tenants.

I would recommend. All the neighbors are polite and love everyone walking there pets. Very family friendly feel here.

I would recommend the community because people were nice when we visited and the leasing team was beyond helpful.

No Washer dryer in units, Apartments not accessible to differently abled. No Electric car charging station

lack of guest parking, even on adjacent street outside the complex -- people regularly backing into spaces despite the following statement on lease: "Backing into parking spaces is prohibited. Front-in parking only." -- people smoking (I believe the regulations published to residents are too vague for people to understand; more explicit statements regarding where, exactly, smoking is allowed would be helpful.)

Very nice and safe place to live but a little pricey. Nice to be close to schools which is main reason for being in this area.

New management is worse than the original management. Dog's stations are not cleaned on an weekly basis, no more bags either. Lots of trash and furniture makes it very unsafe. Lighting is bad at night.

This is my first time staying in Union City Ca.. I choose Greenhaven apts. Mostly becpuse of it's location. walking distance from the middle and elementary school and Union Landing. I was impressed by how clean and up-2-date the apt was. Very nice sized rooms. The kitchen design is very sparce. Cool swimming pool and sana. I liked that the rooms were allready cable and phone ready. The gym needs improvement by updating the equipment and giving a time limit per use. As I stated I like the location and the enviornment is quite.

This place has been very quiet it was priced well it's in walking distance of theaters and resaruants. Big negatives no parking ever! Pool hasn't been available all summer also the pool is very small not nearly big enough for the amount of people that work here. It is right next to a school with a track and basketball courts all in all not disatisfied but managment is just ok
