These apartments are one of the best I have lived in , in a long time. Me and my kids enjoy the quiet neighborhood, the pool is well kept as well as the gym. Diamond was so very helpful and made my move in soo smooth very professional. Any minor fixes I have needed was fixed right away . If you are suggesting these apartments i absolutely recommend .

The apartments look nice but its not worth the trouble I've been having. Its noisy and some of the residents are low class. A lot of loud mexicans live here. You'll constantly have to hear people blasting their tv sound system or music through the walls, shouting and arguing on their balcony's, kids yelling and screaming and hear people hitting the wall, slamming cabinets constantly like the nosy loser beneath me. A lot of people here have dogs and half of them walk them without a leash as if they don't care about them biting someone. They also don't pick up after their dogs. The leasing staff is unprofessional and funny acting, half the time won't respond. At my time of move in, there was hardly any contact about the move in and the fact that my move in date had to be push back a week for the previous resident. I had to keep calling the office. Not the place to be if you want peace and quiet and to be around people who are actually working and productive.

The office and maintenance staff are professional and extremely efficient. I have lived here since 2017 and seen significant renovations in the apartments and amenities. The office and maintenance staff go beyond the call of duty to help residents. The poor reviews listed on this site are from people who are inconsiderate and rude. As for the trash bins these are residents who have moved out and deposited everything possible in and around the bins. The maintenance staff have to break down beds, furniture, disassemble large items in order for the trash company to pick up. Plus I always see children take garbage to the bins only to throw the garbage on the ground and not in the bins because their parents are too lazy to take it there. The grounds, fitness room, swimming pool etc. are kept clean and attractive. If I’ve seen anything out of order I tell the office and its promptly fixed. I feel The Columns At Westchase apartments are Houston’s best kept secret.

I've lived here since June 2018 and since then we have reported the refrigerator which is loud and obnoxious and they do not want to change it. There management is not good.
Over priced and no value. Here's what it's like living here: The staff is absolutely useless. The front office will give you lip service and maintenance staff are a bunch of imbeciles and slackers. They'll tell you the gym is open 24 hours and has new equipment; the equipment is old and in poor condition. During the off hours, the only way to get to the gym is through the pool area which is "closed for cleaning" half the time because they don't know what they are doing. Parking is horrific. Too many people with multiple cars that just SIT. Every once in a while, they threaten to tow and never follow through. The grounds are horrible. One of the rubbish bins has a mattress that's been sitting by the side of it for MONTHS. The units are old and everything in them is of the cheapest quality. Various buildings have foundation problems. There are critters that get in the walls and the spaces between apartments. Ceilings and areas around windows leak. The best part: the management staff and corporate does absolutely nothing! Corporate has been notified of these issues and nothing has changed. Don't be surprised if 'management' responds to this review and says that they are disappointed, here to help, and I can come in and talk to them. Been there, done that. They are currently offering $250 for referrals from existing tenants. I wouldn't even refer someone I hate to this dump. AVOID THIS PLACE!

The swimming pool is very dirty. Look like it has not cleaned for long time. I went today with my kid and was very upset to see that. On top of that, there were kids swimming there in that filthy water. Some body might get sick if this is not addressed ASAP.
My friend lives there and I went the other day to look around with her. But, I found that troubling that a group of peoples (3 grown ups and some kids) were playing soccer in the walkway next to the swimming pool. The ball was flying over and it nearly hit me. I was wondering what will happen if it hit my car parked near by. Also, I would not like to live near to the pool as the ball might hit my window or patio. I said no no to this apartment. There are lots of rough people in this apartment.
The management is not professional very rude especially Jeff dont even try to go to Katrine she just seat all day and let Jeff run the place. If you do not believe me check other site rating i have been living there for a year had a break in and many rotches (big). trus me if you sign the lease you will be reading back this post with regret find something else than this place
I have to say the apartments themselves are really nice. I would have stayed longer if it was not for management and what I went through there. Management is not very helpful. Maintenance takes days (5-7) to get to you. Managements doesn't seem to care about their tenants. Also, the apartments don't have security cameras which at first I didn't care, but now it has become essential for me. I was a victim of theft there and the office didn't do anything or even seemed concerned. Their response regarding security cameras was "it wouldn't have made a difference." Anyways that is my opinion, the apartments are really nice though. If you don't have to deal with management you should be fine and regarding parking just park where there is light and you should be fine (in regards to theft).
This is a nice place to live. Not even 7min away from Target, Ross, Chipotle, Starbucks, Walmart, Buffalo Wild Wings, HEB(just to name a few). And not even a minute away from a gas station, nail salon, dry cleaners, jack in th box and much more. It's right by the belt and/or westpark which makes everywhere convenient to get to. But just dealing with the workers is very frustrating because they are quite unprofessional. The main question to ask when coming in are "are the washer and dryer included in my rent each month?" And do not assume everything is in the apt you will have, that they show u in the model home so ask ALOT of questions even if they seem dumb. If you move in don't let that water, trash sewage bill creep up on you. Overall, the grounds are beautiful, I love my apartment, the pool is awesome, has a jacuzzi section and although there is one pool it feels separate when there are other ppl in the pool because of how they built it. My apartment feels quite spacious and I love how the kitchen feels open and bright and not closed off from the rest of the house. I don't let the unprofessional employees get to me me cuz I don't have to see or deal with them often.
