Property Ratings at Solaire
Last option to choose if you're new in Vegas. Poor customer service. They have a laundry area but not functioning. Employee in the leasing office have poor customer service, they sound like they are higher than the renter. Search it in google how many times this apartment caught on fire. When the pool is open, they don't implement proper swimming attire. you can be in the pool with your socks on, and to think the pool is just behind the leasing office, employees doesn't care. Somebody got shot on the east side year 2021. Do a lot of research. if you have another option stay away from this place.
I applied for a one bedroom apt on 4/23/21; I was under impression that it was $40.00 application fee, non-refundable, and a $100.00 apartment holding fee till you move in and it is applied to first month rent per their website. They denied my application on 4/29/21 saying that I made $100.00 short from what is required, which is twice the rent amount (NO where on the website it states this criteria). So I asked if they could switch me to a studio which I do meet requirements, and website has a few studio units available. Kayla which is the person handling applications, told me no studios were available, and per management they were not going to credit me back refundable $100.00 holding fee. Stay away, unless you enjoy hardaches
I have been here .a long time .with no serious issues ....
Let me start by saying trisha is the best she worked so hard to make sure i got the best help as possible and the perfect apartment for me and my kids i recommend her services to everyone because like i said she is the best im currently living in my new apartment and so happy with the results..fyi i never do surveys but it is well deserved thank you from the bottom of my heart trisha now im bout to decorate!!!
Yes the photos they post on their website are pretty and clean but please don’t let them fool you. At the beginning we thought this was a decent apartment community but you only truly feel for what someplace is really like after living their for a month or two. After that initial getting to know the place what I have found...Dog poop is littered everywhere. Beginning of winter mice migrate in all the apartments and yes there’s pest control that will come and put poison out for the mice then you find dead mice randomly in your home! I have two small children and a dog, having to worry about this was more than just a nuisance. Mouse poop everywhere !! And yes I made the appointment with their chosen pest control right away and still mouse poop seriously everywhere, while I cleaned my home daily vacuuming and always cleaning my kitchen and organizing ( I’m a stay at home mom ). They let anyone move in so I had neighbors who left their dogs on the balcony day in and day out so poop and pee leaking to the apartment below it! I had another neighbor in eye view who would stay up drinking on their balcony OFTEN yelling more like howling and throwing GLASS bottles off !!! Once they threw pots and pans off !! They would regularly stay up all hours of the night while my husband worked extremely long hours so his sleep times are precious at 3:30 am often these people would screaming from their balcony. I would contact the front office to let them know about this problem .... NOTHING happened or changed. The girl from the front told me to “ call the police / animal control for the dog apartment “ . Then.... we fulfilled our year lease paying every month on time, we are a very clean and respectful family. Well I made sure to do everything I needed to when we moved out , did the walk through with the maintenance person for the reason of not being blindsided with any charges . He gave me the thumbs up telling me everything looks good. One entire month later they call me to tell me I owe them $1300 for a new carpet!!! I was am still appalled at their conduct. Then to find out after talking to more people who have lived there this is a normal occurrence!! They will charge you an outrageous amount usually close to a months rent after you move out even if you leave the apartment pristine! This place is awful . I now have to pay the $1200 they later dropped it down to so I can rent other places so I don’t have a bill in collections!
I have been here for three months my leaky roof is still going on my mailbox is keep getting broken into
I moved here on august, and went on vacations on october out of state. When I get back to the apartment, I found that I get robbed, everything I had is gone. I placed an complain to the administration with the police report, so they release my lease so I can move to another property, was waiting a month and a half for the response, went 3 times to the office looking for an answer, and at the end, the property manager told me that if I want to break the lease, I have to pay 4 months of rent, and they don't guarantee my safety. Now I have to wait 8 months to leave this place

There is so much to say about this place after living there 3 years. The main problem is maintenance, but the office staff probably contributes to that issue. In 3 years the air conditioning failed in the summer of 2 of those years. First problem took 3 attempts to fix over the course of 2 weeks. Not good in the Las Vegas heat. Very stressful. The 2nd time they thought they fixed it, the compressor failed and blew out the circuit breaker in the middle of the night. The unit was not replaced, it was repaired, and it took over a week for them to add freon a year later when it failed again. When maintenance fixed the air conditioning on 2 occasions they saw the board that I rigged up to replace the ceiling tile that rotted out, and they never bothered to replace it, because a new tile would just get messed up again because the drain clogs every month and has to be flushed out. I had to do most of the maintenance myself because they would take a week unless it was a water leak that could damage their property. The carpet was messed up when I moved in, and there were areas where the floor covering bubbled up where there was no carpet. There were 2 burned buildings in the complex that are not being repaired, but fenced up and trash accumulates. The laundry facilities were shut down when Westland took over and I don't know if they ever came back. First 2 years the rent increase was $4 per year, but when Westland took over they asked for $70 more a month, and offered to install a security door. They installed a security gate that has never worked, but made the entrance more narrow and inconvenient. The apartment was not worth the $70 a month increase, and the anxiety over maintenance and the incompetent staff made paying that much more intolerable. I don't know how people can say the staff is excellent, unless they have not had paperwork lost or waited over a week for air conditioning to be fixed. They offer pest control but they don't spray outside so there are crickets, roaches, spiders, and even gnats uncontrolled. The move in or out is hard because ramps are weird or in parking spots that are always used. There is more but no space on this site!
No one will call you back! All they will do is take your money!! DONT BOTHER!! ALL THEY WILL DO IS LIE TO YOU!
this place is so bad, nothing ever gets done when u put in a work order in, office staff does not answer phones, kids as young a 4 or 5 yrs old running around with no parents keeping an eye on them, people smoking weed on the steps of apts that they do not live in and security is a joke, all they do is sit on the steps at the office, there are drug dealers living there and nothing is done and most of the lights outside do not work, there was a fire that destroyed about 16 apts back in april 2016 and still to this day they r "working to repair them" which means they have not done anything but put a fence around the building. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE
My best advice would be to come at night. These apartments are filthy on the outside, they aren't properly maintained trash piling out of the trash can walk through the building and it's litter everywhere and broken glass. Children running and screaming and causing trouble because their parents aren't watching them. Men standing around all day smoking weed, playing loud music and doing nothing. The people in the office are rude and not helpful they take their time coming to fix things. I feel because the apartment rent is so cheap and full of people who probably don't have other options the staff and owners feel like they can treat them any kind of way and it's ok. For example the apartment wasn't even clean when I moved in. Thank GOD I had options and got out of there.
This place is not safe ,security never hardly around ,roaches ,rude employees ,raising rent n plus u have to pay for insurance for if fires happening at this place ,it's like 20 dollars on top of ur rent ,sewer, trash water n who knows what else ,omg can't wait to move ,this place is getting so bad n afraid for my safety ,this place u can't complain about any1 here bec office doesn't care ,anyways this place sucks ,Fremont street is a lot better lol
They give you the apartment without making sure it's move in ready. The apartment is big but roach infested. The maintenance and office staff are unprofessional. They keep raising the utilities and charge late fees even after you paid rent. You can't talk to the manager because she looks at you like the dirt at the bottom of her shoe. She always has an attitude. They never painted or fumigated the apartment when you move in. The cabinets and drawers are broken, rotted, and roaches running around. The carpet is dirty and the paint comes off the tub when you put something on it. The wood at the back of the closet door is rolling up. The vents are blocked and dirty. The sinks are clogged and the dishwasher is broken. The sliding door to the balcony is hard to close and the door to the storage space feels like wet paper. Cables and wires are improperly placed around the complex. You can see wires all over. You see police or people arrested every other day.
This place Is profound and just desricbes one word "Totally LEGIT!!!"
This is one the worst apartments in las vegas its roche invested the have bed bugs gang invested we had numerous of shooting and also a killing of another young soul just last month police frequent these apartments on a daily bases i m afraid for my one year old and four year old please help scary apartments.
I say the apartment is good because of the low price and big unit. Other than that, not good. My unit is infested with roaches, surrounding areas are not properly maintained, the laundry room is always untidy, one time with broken light bulb littered all over the floor. The assigned parking lot is not being observed because twice I have arrived home with other cars parked in my spot. I also asked about a month ago for maintenance support just to replace one of my electric stove coils and until now, nothing. The neighbors? Well, I hear screaming a lot of times, children all over the place, and nothing's wrong with that, unless, you like to live in peace.
At 55 I have a long running relationship with apartments. I like my place. It is not fancy but it is clean and the staff does their best to stay on top of problems. Every now and then after a late softball game I make a little dash to my door when the kids are "loud" but a little run never hurt anyone.
I've live in many different apartment complex around las Vegas, but this is the worst complex i have live in. I believe my words couldn't explain how i feel about these apartments.
I visit staff was execellent this be a place to call home only was they had. No. Aparment but know it could a place at home . Neighborbood nice love the apartment
