Only one trash coral dumpster on the property and you have to pay to have your trash bags picked up outside your door Sunday -Thursday Only No Holiday pick up and only 13 gallon trash bags taken anything else you will have to dump yourself so this causes water bug to run around .

I haven’t even lived my full year here. They have very strict rules that are not even bad rules to follow mostly common sense to follow. No smoking but you always smell people smoking. Pick up after your dogs no one seems to I always find dog poop outside by my porch. And the worst is how often I’ve contacted them about my upstairs neighbors walking with their heels and moving furniture every single night all day early morning afternoon at night even midnight the stomping doesn’t stop they don’t seem to care if you’re getting disrupted. If I’m constantly complaining and the other people deny it like why would I lie. I don’t even know them I just want some quiet and not get woken up In the morning With my ceiling lights shaking they stomp so hard. Maintenance is cool apartments are nicer then others for what you pay for I could even deal with the poop and smoking but getting ignored and not taken seriously I don’t like that. Not one bit.
Recently my car was stolen and when I went to tell managment they responded they would have to charge for the new fob and clicker. There was a total lack of empathy. My car has been broken into and my apartment now my car stolen. They didnt even send an email warning other tenants. Very disappointing!!

Worst leasing office. I have been trying to call office since they opened at 10am. They have not picked up the phone. It goes straight to voicemail. I will not consider leasing here for that reason alone. Let's you know they don't value customer service.
Whether it is volleyball, fun at the pool, or relaxing at home AMLI definitely makes the overall experience truly enjoyable. Apartments are spacious, the pool is large, the community is cooperative and there is always fun to be had. There is only one thing keeping it from a 5 star; parking. There are only certain spots allotted to the apartments. If you need another spot you will have to park in undesignated spots. In some cases they are close by in others not so much. All in all I have a lease for six months and I do intend to extend. Stop on by the leasing office, the leasing representatives are very open to all suggestions and very easy to talk to.
The apartment seems beautiful from the outside looking in...but as you take a more careful look, there are great limitations....one trash receptacle leaves the property quite messy until trash pick up day....parking can be a headache...in the first few months I lived there the smell of marijuana just permeated the air...calling the leasing office during business hours is futile...it goes straight to the voice mail .....one thing i will say...on the inside the apartments are gorgeous...but you cant enjoy it due to the other distractions....

From the outside looking in, this apartment is a catch. A bit pricey, but in a great location, near two major malls and countless shopping centers. The apartments themselves are spacious and fairly updated. However, there a small inconveniences and other situations that take away from what could be an ideal place to live. The complex itself is pretty big, yet there is only one dumpster for everyone to use. Needless to say trash piles up rather quickly and the simple task of taking out the garbage becomes an extra chore in itself. At the moment the complex is undergoing some outside renovations which can be noisy at times, but hasn't been too much of an annoyance, and hopefully is finishing up soon. Coming from a tenant on the third floor, do not underestimate taking the stairs daily. If you are a person that does not mind then this is no problem, however just be aware that there are no elevators, so moving in furniture or moving out is definitely something to consider. Parking is okay. There are a lot of spaces, however, the assigned parking seems odd. my personally assigned parking is further away than the free parking for everyone. Overall, the apartment is okay. I love the location and the inside space, but some of the environment within the complex I could live without, but you don't realize some of these things until after you have moved in.
This apt is perfect with many amenities close by, such as restaurant, the metro, bus service and shopping. This complex is very well kept up and the grounds are immaculate. You can enjoy swimming in the pool or relaxing in the Jacuzzi. Playing volleyball, golfing or working out at the gym. A little something for everyone. And pets are welcome too!!

I originally was very pleased there first couple months living at AMLI. I even bought a gift basket for the leasing staff at Christmas in appreciation! Honestly, the first 6 months, I felt the staff was very responsive but the last few months, I found it very difficult to get through to the front desk over the phone. When you call the toll-free number, they refer you back to the local office. The corporate office also doesn't answer or reply to calls. It's best to go in person however even scheduling in-person appointments doesn't work with AMLI. I scheduled 2 separate appointments for walk-throughs at the end of my lease and both times I was stood up (I left work early 2 different days during 2 consecutive weeks). The pet stations are often out of plastic bags and overflowing with trash and pet waste. During Easter weekend, there was a dead rat floating in the pool. The spa was out if order from November through May. It's frustrating because you pay for amenities that are not maintained. The traffic on Milliken and along 6th is very loud at all hours... day and night. If you want to live somewhere that is well maintained, clean, safe, and has okay management, you should live ANYWHERE but here. If you would like responsive management, live ANYWHERE but here. It is my understanding they are going under new ownership and the staff doesn't give a squat which explains why my experience changed so drastically during the year I was there. If you are looking for a place to live, for the price, you can live at your choice of several complexes nearby. Choose another place. You don't want to get stuck here like I did for the year I had my lease.
I love living here! These apartments are fantastic and I have not had any issues. Staff is great, maintenance is fast, friendly and reliable. Safety is a big one for me and these are some safe apartments. I enjoy living here and have no plans of moving out any time soon.
Landscaping was very nice, amenities were great. Apartment itself was average but what changed me mind was the lasck of light in the apartments. Very dark feel!!
