You'll find Midway on the east side of downtown between Ash Street and South Citrus Avenue. Midway apartments provide a gorgeous setting with plenty to do, from visiting nearby San Diego Zoo Safari Park to shopping along Valley Parkway. The Midway neighborhood has easy access to I-15, which leads to San Diego, 33 miles south. Take Washington Avenue to Highway 78 to reach the California coast, roughly 20 miles away. I have always enjoyed living at Solana. It's got a bad reputation because it use to be called Eagles Point. It is nothing like that anymore. Since becoming Solana At Grand they have very much improved these apartments. Always making it better. I've been here since 2014 so I can personally see the improvements. I would and have recommended for people to move in. Management is great. Always had maintenance come in a timely manner and fix my problems. They have pest control if needed. The location is great for getting to things as a bus stop is right out front. They have a new kids play area. Looks great. So yes I would recommend these apartments.

I have a pretty nice 1 bedroom apartment that serves my needs while still providing additional storage space. Close (within walking distance) to stores which is always a convenient exercise and source of variety for when it might get a little boring. Biking is also easy in Escondido! It's a place that's close to nature, where you can tend some plants, feed the birds, and even enjoy doing nothing.

I lived in Solana at Grand for 4 years and had a few issues with my apartment. Marlene, the head supervisor, has always been so kind and helpful with my requests. She trusted her amazing team and had Mia contact me and set up a plan. When I came to the office, Isabel and Vanessa helped walk me through everything and put my mind at ease. Marcus and Cheyenne are always kind and bring great positive energy to any concerns I have. In all the time I've been here this staff old and new are doing the best they can. This place is affordable, the exterior is properly maintained. The problem is that constantly to get a task done one has to take the time and energy to be following up, calling, and emailing because they will not always help even if they say they will.

Newly remodeled apartments with a nice pool and gym. Zero guest parking, tow truck drives laps around the parking lot all night, occasional cockroaches.

The area is beautiful, the staffs are really friendly and helpful. The apartment has soo many roaches and the complex doesn’t have much parking for handicap and they charge extra just to park.

Have lived at Solana At Grand going on 10 years and will continue to live here. I see a lot of bad reviews especially when it was called Eagles Point. But since it's been Solana At Grand everything has changed. Apartments have been remodeled, we have security, and great property management team. They have installed new mailboxes which looks great and elevator doors. They are improving this place day by day. Maintenance has always done a good job. I just wish people wouldn't judge this place from the past because it really has improved a lot over these 10 years.

The leasing agent was amazing with processing my application. They accepted my housing voucher and I was able to move in very quickly. After searching for months it was a relief to have a new, beautiful place to call home. Any minor issues have been resolved immediately (less than 24 hrs of reporting). Highly recommend.

We had a nice 2 bedroom apt at Solana, very roomy with a great view. The amenities were very good too, and well kept. Maitenence staff also great. Parking is awful, the portal worked only part of the time, and some of the management staff lacked good customer service skills.

It's a beautiful community, very safe and secure. I love that it has assigned parking stalls, and I'm really enjoying the layout of my unit. I was initially worried the 440 sq ft would feel way too small but it's actually very spacious and inviting. For the money and the location, it literally cannot be beat!

Apartments interior looks nice, more than adequate sizes, except: laundry amenity should be removed from posting. Most are well past needing to be be replaced. Prepare to have to load your clothes up in your car and take them to a laundromat. Kitchen is a fair size, but would do well if refrigerator wasn’t next to the hot stove. Cabinet space is limited, primarily because they’re unreasonably high to the ceiling. Staff is both often unavailable, often confrontational, aggressive. Prepare for unreasonable inconveniences, that happened with little or no notice. Complaints and concerns fall on deaf ears. Hope you only have one vehicle, because you’ll either have to park on the street and risk vandalism, compete for any so-called visitor spot, or pay extra for a parking space. Majority of your neighbors are very friendly, a few loud arguments and fights, it doesn’t happen very often, so if you can live with that, then OK. It helps that the complex is on the border of 92055, which is the better area code to live in. Make sure you park in your space, warn your visitors to park on the street. For whatever reason, the toll trucks have free reign to roam through and tow at will. To me, it’s a bad look. Lastly, even with the upsides, it amounts to a layover until your next move, primarily because of staff, price, and questionable business practices. All those spoil for you what actually could’ve been a keeper. Not a place you’d want to stay beyond your lease. Been here three months, and I already got my 1 month’s notice ready to go when the time comes

Dogs barking for hours and most do not pick up after their waste, no visitor parking and theft on public street parking. Some residents leaving their trash bags out on non-trash days which is unsanitary probably why there are exterminators visiting apartments every month ONLY NICE thing is the remodeled apartments good job to maintenance too

Laundry facilities suck the machines don’t work right which means I waste my money trying to get my stuff washed and dried correctly. And it’s crazy how I can request maintenance in person for them to just completely disregard me.

My little corner was quiet. But that was the only good thing. I’m on the 4th floor and the elevator was always broke, I called maintenance for many things and never got a response or anything fixed. When trying to contact management on anything other than in person it was never answered unless they were looking for their money. I know I’m not getting my deposit back because of poorly made products easily broken that I know I’m gonna get blamed for.

This place is a nightmare. Office keeps putting eviction notices on my door because they mix me up with other tenants. No play area so dozens of kids running up and down the stairs till three in the morning. Garbage everywhere. They lost my lease and tried to charge $800 extra. The place was just sold but the management is still here. The only reason this place isn't one star on the listing is because staff must be getting on to change it.

My application/leasing process was very simple, the staff was willing to help me all the way and showed me a lot of kindness. The ratio price/amenities/location is great and I recieved my room in excellent conditions.

Very disgusting. So many cockroaches!!! There was a time where they sent out a notice because they were going to have a company come by to do a treatment for bedbugs and take took time off of work for me to prepare for that. Management is awful. Some of the girls in the office care but no one cares about you they just want your money. Everything was closed down for covid and our rent didnt lower from not having these amenities. They did constant walk throughs, which is uncomfortable especially since I wasnt home and dont know if theyre sick. They had a business come in to clean off the carports which then left screws all over the floor. It popped two of my tires. I had to get two brand new tires, the leasing office they would not reimburse me for it. Im so happy Im out of this complex.

Roach infested! Management is extremely rude and not helpful. Lots of amenities that still can’t even use freely, so paying for nothing. Neighbors have been jumped and place is trashed. DO NOT LIVE HERE!
